We here at the Fc Killer squad thread seem to be quite emotional about the treble we all dreamed of, but didnt come to pass.(Sad) Our own version of the Spanish FA cup was not celebrated here by a single cule on this thread, knowing fully well that liga trophy is already bagged, while awaiting a mouthwatering whitewash @noucamp 6th of May. I wouldnt consider that "pride" , but for the love and deep support we have for this great Club. Not to forget the high expectation we all have season in season out.

For me, this isnt a bad season afterall, Double for the trouble Roma caused. Yet we remain Fc Consistent, FC win something, FC Barcelona.

Baba, to be candid, I never expected any treble at all from the start of the season going by what we went through by the Neymar saga. We have crashed out of the UCL severally at the QF, so there's actually no issue with that. But, considering the way and manner at which we crashed out, I personally don't see any reason to celebrate over the copa.
Our coach couldn't rest players for the UCL but could do that for the copa. I just can't stand it really.

Such game against Roma happens once in a while against any team. What shocked me was it happened on one of our grandest stage -- Champions League!!
Yes it happens, it wouldn't have moved me as such if we gave our best, if we had played well. We played as if the youngest of the boys was 39 years. So pathetic.

We have a Jose Mourinho as our coach in disguise. I'm not even certain we'll beat Sevilla in the final on Saturday.

I have made peace with reality already. I am prepared for the worse.

I still can't believe we played against Roma is such a disgraceful manner.

Madrid are only in the semi finals and are up against Bayern, Juup Hynckes coaches Bayern, not Pep so anything can happen and even if they win, they still have the final to play for.
Messi on the other hand is guaranteed to win La Liga and has an even better chance of winning another trophy (CDR) than Ronaldo (UCL) so your post was wrong on many fronts...
If Real Madrid don't advance to the finals or lose the finals, all of Ronaldo's goals then amounts to nothing...
Going by your logic, Barcelona have not won the league yet while the CDR is yet to be played. So, nothing is guaranteed yet.

If you don't understand the point I was trying to pass, let's just leave it that way.

What we have seen so far this season with the coach messing up each time Madrid drop points is enough to tell us that we are not destined to win the league. Madrid are leading us by 3 points while still having a game at hand.
Neymar is not playing the classico and you will agree with me that Messi has always been a shadow of himself in the past few ones. So whose gonna bail us out against them? What gives us assurance that we would also win the other matches even if Madrid drop points again if what we have seen already is anything to go by?

I can never bet on Atleti again to win the UCL at the expense of Madrid, twice they had the chance, and guess what? They blew it. Poor ref decisions and mother luck have been favouring Madrid in the UCL in these past seasons, so I don't expect this year to be different.

You know what? I'd be glad to eat my words in case the opposite happens grin

Barcelona is guaranteed La Liga and is in the final of the Copa Del Rey yet a supposed fan of the club thinks Real Madrid reaching the semi finals of the UCL all but guarantees CR7 the Balon d'Or title how exactly? I feel the comment was made just to garner applause from rival fans who had flooded this thread.
If Ronaldo doesn't win the UCL and Messi wins La Liga and the Copa Del Rey, it will take a big performance from Ronaldo and Portugal in the world cup for Ronaldo to win it and this is fact...
Your post is directed at me so permit me to reply you.
I have been on this thread for years and there's never a time rival fans have deserted this thread. If we win, it's uefalona, if we loose, it's trolling galore. So, I wouldn't know why I would be posting in order to get applause of any kind.

Almost all the Cules here have testified to the fact that it's only Barca that could stop Madrid from winning another UCL, hence, the incessant plea to give us Madrid even in the QF. And now that Barca are out after bottling a 4-1 lead, it's just painful to admit that Madrid are on course already even though nothing is guaranteed yet.

We have seen Messi win the league and the CDR before only for CR7 to still claim the much coveted award by winning the UCL. So, congratulating Madrid and CR7 ahead is just a way of venting ones frustration after the painful and unexpected exit and has nothing doing with wishing Madrid well. We did same last season after crashing out of the UCL in the QF while Madrid went on to lift the trophy.

Madrid seem sure to have a better chance at winning the UCL than Argentina winning the world cup.

Isco's wrongly disallowed goal?
What happened against Bayern is still fresh in my memory sir, my post has nothing to do with the penalty. The penalty issue is just a normal reaction from the rival fans which I am sure you also know it's normal. You would have also cried out were you at the receiving end even though it was a right call.

Our defence is worse than previous seasons bro.

Am.not saying this just to make you feel good but I trust in our Attack not the defence at all. A good attack like Tottenham exposed us and Liverpool is not far from such blitz. Roma will still have that self belief and Bayern would be gun blazing for revenge. Luckily they too have the league wrapped up. Son they will have more time to rest their first eleven like us.

I know we can but not too sure we will.
Nothing is sure in life bro!
As it stands today, Madrid stand the better chance of clinching the trophy than the remaining teams. Why?

- your players seem to raise their games in UCL
- UCL is the only means of going trophyless
-there has been this element of luck following you guys in the UCL lately.
- you guys have been benefiting from some poor referee's decision and one is not sure if that's not gonna happen again.
Mind you, I'd be the happiest and personally troll you should you guys go trophyless.(my earnest prayer)

Sebod made his opinion and it should be respected. You can decide to disagree with his views which is very ok but trying to shade him...you went too far.
Thrice we became another team's fan just to ensure Madrid didn't win the UCL, we all know how it ended. Why would I wish Madrid well?

Cules, I really can understand the way everybody feels, I am also a victim to the disappointment and pain. If anyone here sees my last post, you'll probably see what my feelings towards the 2nd leg meant, I just had a rough and unsettled feeling about the Match. Having been dumped outta the CL 3 or 4 consecutive time now is really unacceptable, but one thing for sure, we'll all get over it.

As for the trolls, its a normal thing, we would definitely be trolling Madeads thread soon enough, cos I am damn sure they aint winning the CL, and tapcrapdo wont win no damn Ballon dio, they both should go and prove their worthiness for the 6th Ballon @ the worldcup.

@Sebod, I agree with you on some points, but I totally disagree with you on the basis that Chelsea outclassed and outplayed us? Common man, dont add sentiment to facts or just because we lost silly to Roma. Plus you ought not to be wishing tapcryno a 6th Ballon, common man aint u a die had fan? I don know u here for years. Let the Rivalry stay real and solid, thats the fun of this great game of soccer.

We were very lucky to leave London with a draw. The return leg was more of individual brilliance.

I am not wishing CR7 a 6th Balon d'or, I am only making peace with the reality that's clear before us. It happened this same way last season bro. Unless Messi wins the world cup with Argentina, there's no way he's gonna win the award over Ronaldo should the latter eventually win the UCL.(can you vouch for this Argentine team?)

Calm down bros.

Na only trolling we come do.

But seriously, your team more likely will win a double this year. Real on the other hand may not win Nada. I don't even see us winning the UCL due to our error prone defense.

Your coach is doing well in the liga so that should count for something. Barca now seems to be the sacking club. Sacking EV will just reinforce that

By the way no mind dippsset. He is still pained by the amount of yabbing we don dump on his apari head. grin.

Twice we hoped, prayed and became Atletico's fans just so they may stop you guys from winning the UCL, we all know how it panned out.
We were so much sure Juve would do it for us after what we witnessed against Bayern, it all ended same way. So, why would I be so sure Madrid wouldn't win it again this time around?
once beaten, they say twice shy, I have been beaten thrice bro!

As regards our performance in the league, I think the unbeaten run is just covering up so many lapses. All Cules know this already.

Congratulatons to ronaldo on winning the WPOTY?
I know your type.
If he wins it you would then raise your fuuucccking arms and say 'I said so first'

Haven't you seen so many teams win so many competitions so many times without playing well?

We are going to win la liga without playing well, so I expect an article from you by the end of the day highlighting why we don't deserve it and should hand it over to the team that comes second.
If madrid plays shiit in their next 2 games and still win the champions league would any of their fan boys celebrate less or troll you less?

We all love to see beautiful football but fans want to see their teams win even when they play shiit.

All you have written here is fuckery, in the name of objectivity!

Get da fuc out of you don't have anything to say.
Calm down bro, why the attack?

You and I know that today's football rewards goals/results over individual brilliance and performance. You will also agree with me that Madrid are better placed to win the UCL than the remaining teams if the recent poor refs decisions favouring them are anything to go by.
Should Madrid win the UCL(which I am not praying for but have no power to stop), CR7 is winning the award as I am not sure Argentina can win the world cup in Russia and CDR and league trophy alone can't help Messi's cause.(so why not accept the reality already?)

That said, CR7 winning 100 balon d'or would never rate him above Messi in my world. I have been watching Messi play from the La masia to Netherlands and till date. Permit me to say you don't love Messi more than I do bro.

As regards our poor performance against Roma, I wouldn't know the basis of your attack. Would I have celebrated if we had won? Certainly yes! So what should we do when we didn't play well and still lost?
If you are okay with the team and the coach's performance this season, does that mean everyone would be okay with it? So what's the crime in one stating his opinion?
Lemme just assume you are still hurt with our loss to Roma, hence the attack. I am also deeply hurt as you are.

Congratulations in advance to Madrid and CR7. For winning the UCL and the next WPOTY.

Cules are pained by the deserved loss to Roma, forgetting that our games this season have been nothing to write home about.
The only time we had a nice game in the UCL was in the 1st leg against Juventus. We have been awful ever since then.
We have own-goal to thank for seeing us through the group stage, while cheer luck and individual brilliance bailed us out against Chelsea as we were completely outclassed and outplayed.
Even in the 1st leg against Roma, we didn't deserve to win, all thanks to same own-goal. It's obvious the team has regressed badly under EV. The only saving grace for him is that we never expected to have a very good season as at the start of the season due to Neymar's departure.

Just like last season after our loss to Juve, I castigated the senior players(Messi, Iniesta, Neymar, Alba and Suarez) for failing to utilise their chances while others were blaming the coach. It's just obvious our players can only raise their game when playing against Madrid(little wonder some Cules were clamouring for El Classico semi). Even though the players looked tired, I still believe they could have laboured more to preserve the lead having been so lucky in the 1st leg against Roma. They just couldn't raise the game when it mattered most.

Lastly, I have been very careful to talk about the coach ever since he was hired. But, I have been worried all season against his favoured 4-4-2 formation which never seemed to be working as far as I am concerned. His insistence on playing same line ups coupled with his attitude towards some players have clearly shown he's not made for a top club like Barca. How do we explain having a tricky/skilful player on the bench only to bring him on in the 85th minute when you needed a goal badly?
I think he's still flattered by the unbeaten run in the league, I pray that ends soon because I wouldn't want such a clueless coach in the history book of my club. He should just win the league and find his level.

As for those complaining about the PK awarded to Madrid, it's safe to say they worked hard for it. What did we do to force the ref into making a tough decision? Absolutely nothing!
