Crispels: Honestly, I don't know why people label them liars, but most times they have been proven to be true. They broke the news of Patience Jonathan even when her spokes person denied it, they broke the news of Stella Odua with proof of transaction, and a lot of breaking news from them. Can someone tell me any of their news that has been proven false. I don't know what their motivation is, but you can't deny that they get it right most of the times 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Romance / Re: Dear Men: What Do Yall Want From Us by segend(m): 10:29pm On Nov 06, 2014 |
There is really nothing like what men want. There is what tom wants, and what harry wants. The thing is that a lady dates a guy who likes slim girls, she loses some weight cos of the guy, they break up. she is now dating another guy who likes fat girls, and she has to add weight again because of the new guy. You cannot blame your lack of conviction on guys, and then generalize that guys don't know what they want 1 Like |

The statement by Okupe is really sad, and I think he should be relieved of his position for that. First of all, 16 of 774 is 2% and not 0.02. 2% is a lot, that's probably over a million people |

if you are going to argue with killjoy, presents facts and points, attacking him, and making emotional statements only strengthens his points, gives the impression that there is no justifiable reason to argue. 31 Likes |

firstolalekan: I think you are the ignorant one here, why not check wikipedia and google. There are 19 miniseries, and each state must have a representative, to make sure it goes round all states, that's why there are minister of states. |
Politics / Re: What Is The Diff Btw A Minister And A Minister Of State In The Same Ministry? by segend(m): 8:13am On Oct 24, 2014 |
InyinyaAgbaOku: The issue is that we must have 36 ministers, if 10 new states are created today, then we must have 46 ministers, whether there is a ministry for them or not. I think the real issue should be why should each state have a minister, each state is already well and equally represented in the senate and house of representative. The job of a minister is not to represent his state, will make more sense if ministerial appointment is by zone, maybe 3 per zone. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

One thing that amazes me about Buhari is the way people are loyal to him. Considering that he has not held any position for over 20 years, and he is not that rich. can't think of any politician with that kind of support. 3 Likes |

"A rather unpleasant trend seems to be the norm of late, habit of not taking taking responsibility for ones actions, being unable to face the facts and admit that you are wrong, thoughts that there is someone, something out there that is to blame. Attitudes common amongst us, and now showing up among those in place of power. Presidency makes a mistake, blames it on opposition. Politicians never admit to stealing, its always a case of power that be witch hunting them. If your poorly built building collapse, why accept responsibility when you can blame it on a strange aircraft, and if your blog is taken down for plagiarism, you can always point fingers at haters. Sign of a matured person is his ability to accept responsibilities for his actions, being able to look at himself in the mirror and accept that he goofed, and make corrections. As long as the problem is out there, nothing will be done about it. Until we start doing this individually, and start making people responsible for their actions, until we start holding those in authority responsible for their actions, then can we as a people be ready to grow and move forward" https://www.nairaland.com/1941075/responsible 1 Like 1 Share |

ENELDEE: If a lady doesn't have a job or a career to pursue, it doesn't necessarily make her unattractive except the fact that you become her job. This a major personal reason why i can't date non working ladies. You become their job, they become emotionally dependent on you, always want them to be your priority and also time demanding......well, from personal experience. |

"Encouraged by his administration’s successful containment of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed confidence about the imminent defeat of the Islamist terror group, Boko Haram. His declaration comes at a time an optimistic Nigerian military is riding on the crest of the recent confirmation of the death of Mohammed Bashir, who was believed to have been posturing as Abubakar Shekau, to liberate more towns in the North-eastern states of Borno and Adamawa, which the terrorists control. President Jonathan, who was speaking during the South-south Peoples Democratic Party rally in the Edo State capital Benin City, said just as he government was able to effectively address the Ebola Crisis, the insurgency in the Northeast would be defeated". Jonathan made this statement during his last visit to the south-south, I believe that is the statement fashola is responding to. |

beauty55: Hello fellow Nigerians. Am a young white woman , married to a Nigerian and we have 2 kids. We are planning to move to Nigeria in near future. Do you have any ideas what business area should I look into? I have been preparing to open a cyber cafe with a gaming station. I also have graduated from my business studies. The 1st decision you need to make is where to live, i will recommend Lagos or Abuja. Abuja is more serene, but i think business thrive better in Lagos |
