Dont be too dependent on the JAMB statistics because it is not 100% accurate. It was last updated in Feb 2015, I know people that changed to Covenant University some weeks ago, their data has not reflected in the JAMB table. Secondly there are some people that did not choose Covenant in JAMB that wrote CUSAT today, if they score very high marks they might compete with people with lower marks that chose CU. I'm really scared now!

Finally, CU did well for giving us snacks during the exams, I really needed it.

this is actually true.. Covenant University Admits those That didn't choose CU in jamb sha, A lot of them were Admitted Last year In First Batch, Making Admissions More Competitive. *Sigh*

jamb and Waec cant really play a role. because alot of people passed jamb this year.. and alot of people are using awaiting results.. besides, cusas is the exam the school set by its self. so it is very important.


and getting your preferred course depends on how many people applied for the course. . and how many people applied for you second and third choices.

take me for example, I chose architecture as my first choice and building as a second choice.
only 50 people out of 300 people who applied for it entered.. obviously, alot of people got higher jamb and cusas scores than I did.? only 3 people applied for building .. so building was the obvious next choice for me.


my friend who chose architecture picked computer science as his second choice. he got higher than me in jamb but had a 24 in cusas.. he got computer science even though about the same number of people applied for computer science.. Which means he got higher scores than those who applied for comp science but nobody in architecture.. besides, about 100 people were admitted for comp science... so it also depends on the space available in the courses u have chosen..

what was ur friend's UTME score?

Just got back home from Covenant. Scored 24/60 and 217 in Jamb. I can only look towards God's favour now. Details to follow!

you can still gain admission with that jamb score tho....Policy and strategic studies isn't a competitive programme in CU attalz a minimum of 8 apply for d programme each year so chillax!

you will actually receive a text from CU, and then you should check their websites frequently also.......

finally with internet for the first time since friday, I wrote on the 26th and got 48/60. That government sha they cant be giving that thing to science students. Now just to wait and see if I enter the mech. engineering

it's a private school not public, they cant cater for everyone..

lol naa....go to babcock university, their accounting students is close to 250, same in reedemers and others...even In BU I know of a chic with 190 that entered medicine...private schools are in deal to make money that's all, if BU could admit 250 students why not CU....Most 100level who don't get their WAEC in CU, are being sent out of the school after resumption, while in Babcock you stay behind and enroll for GCE....CU sef they have too much wahala... One of my friend last year had 227 for accounting, they changed her course to Demography and statistics..why? I feel CU is just Over doing this admission issh!

yes it is but id u dont get into the course..just know other applicant had a very high score and the current affairs you need to know about politics, nigeria history, electoral process....constitution and all...just pass your cusas and waec
