Pls someone with good knowledge about minolta photocopier should pls help a brother. My EP1052 photocopier (manual), is trapping paper inside, otherwise known as paper germ. My boy in the office use to do a kind of opening and touching the machine, when ever it behaves this way, and it will start working.
But few days ago he resigned on the ground that he wants to further his education. And so for two days now I have not been able to make a single photocopy.
The issue is that I am in a remote village where it would take up to 2hrs to bring this bulky machine to where I can service it, and my regular service engineer is out of town for now; called the guy, he was saying something like "the gear of the machine"
Pls while I wait for an expert. To check the machine, is their a way I can make the copier to work temporarily through Do-It-Yourself, as my boy has been doing it. Pls if you have any idea of where I can touch, pls help, so that I can offset already accumulated job. If you're a photocopier engineer we can still work together if you're in Rivers state. @ bolded part, you should use the minus sign to undo, and not the plus sign. Also, make sure you run the command from an elevated command prompt (run as administrator).

Try uninstalling the drivers -- Open Control Panel and click Device Manager. Locate the audio driver under Sound, Video and Game controllers > right-click it and choose uninstall.

Reboot your computer, plug the earphones in and see if it shows up under playback devices.

If that doesn't work, then you can try updating the drivers. Simply go to the downloads or support section of the official HP website.

Any error messages before eventually shutting off? It could be overheating. You mentioned that the fan is very noisy -- you may want to have that looked at as well.

I created a wired lan connection of 10 PCs with a 20 ports switch. i checked my connection they were all pinging. now how do i provide them with internet connection? the processes? again how do I setup a server for the network?

If you can get into BIOS setup, restore BIOS defaults. If the problem persists, take it to an Engineer to replace the CMOS battery.

As for the other laptop, does it display anything on the screen before shutting off? Try resetting the BIOS settings as well. Try removing and reinstalling the physical RAM.

1. Do you make use of a third-party app for copying files?

2. If you have an anti-virus software installed, it might be slowing things down by trying to scan each file that is being copied on access. Disable it and see if that helps.

3. Run chkdsk /r from an elevated command prompt.

Pls adm. I don't know if this is the right place to post my problem. I have a Toshiba Window 8 ultrabook laptop core 13 (the type that looks like an iPad, you can slide it to reveal the keypad, it has no CD/DVD ROM only USB slot). The problem is when it is powered on it only shows "Password=_" at the top left hand corner of the screen without displaying the window logo. The charger might be working, but it might not be delivering the correct voltage. So, you can start by borrowing a similar adapter from someone and testing the system with it.

If it doesn't power on still, then find a way to charge your battery or borrow a similar one and then test it on your computer. Let me know your findings.

I woke up this morning put on my laptop. It turned on but while trying to charge it, it wouldn't charge. Now the ba3 is flat but it won't still charge. I tested the charger with a voltmeter and it was working, I removed the laptop ba3 and plugged directly, the ba3 signal showed white light (which usually displayed when the ba3 is almost fully charged), but wouldn't turn on. This still indicates that the charger is working but system is not charging.

What should I do to fix this problem? Thank you in advance..

Sounds like the discs were burned at very high speed and your internal disc drive cannot keep up.

Try an external disc drive or a different installation disc.

First, verify that both installation media are not defective by trying them on another PC.

Go to your laptop's manufacturer's website and download device drivers for the motherboard. Save them to a flash drive and browse to the location when you encounter the error.

Due to my very low budget, i had no choice but to opt for a low spec laptop. Its an Hp Compaq nx6125 with 896MB worth of RAM, 1.6GHz clockspeed and came with a windows xp sevice pack 2 pre-installed.

I tried installing Metatrader 4 (a charting application for trading FOREX) on it, but it keeps getting declined. I have been advised to install windows 7 on it, but i am very skeptical considering it has a low RAM and clockspeed.

Do you think i should increase the RAM, to say 2gig, and go ahead with the windows 7 installation??

On a second thought, i am guessing if i install windows xp service pack 3, the mt4 would install. Do you also think this is possible??

During system startup, a message is usually displayed that tells you what key to press to access the BIOS or CMOS setup.

It's usually f2 or f10.

hi guys,need help... am having some trouble with windows activation.i bought a pc from a friend with windows 8 preinstalled. before refreshing it, decided to extract the product key just to be safe but surprisingly got 2 of them. one oem key and the other 8 pro. was expecting an automatic activation after refresh but that never happened. on trying manually, the oem key didn't work, the 8 pro was accepted but didn't activate giving: no dns server configured for local system. Now, how do i revert to the preinstalled key, cause the 8 pro had failed all troubleshoot.
