Health / Re: Do Doctors In General Hospitals Accept Clinical Tests Done Outside The Hospital? by shoksimba: 10:03am On Nov 12, 2015
I don't know ho much your test costs, but to save you not to waste your money, its a NO.
dewstar:
I was at the Igando general hospital in Lagos yesterday to see the doctor. After seeing the doctor I was given some papers and told to do some tests. As I was going to look for the test lab I was approached by a lady who told me I. Could do the test and get a same day result (general hospital tests takes about 3days) at a lab outside the hospital.

I would like to find out from someone who may have patronized people like this if the tests are as good as what obtains in the hospital and also if they will be accepted by doctors there. I need to do this test today and so I need urgent help b4 I go with her. Pls help with some advice.

Health / Re: Watch What You Eat! by shoksimba: 9:36am On Nov 10, 2015
Thank you sir, God bless you
drfabs:
Hi, everyone. I met a 15 year old female who weighed 102kg with a BMI of 35.2 (Grade 2 Obesity) very recently where I earn a source of living. The particularly touching matter was that she had come for follow up. She was being managed for hypertension- elevated blood pressure. This thread is meant to serve as an eye-opener for us all. If we don't watch what we eat, what we eat might kill us! Home made meals are no longer the in-thing. We consider eating junk a form of status statement. We consume alcohol like our lives depend on it. Majority of us lead sedentary lives. All these factors compounded by a positive family history of hypertension can be likened to one sitting on a keg of gunpowder waiting to explode. Not only 40 year olds develop the condition. There's an entity referred to as 'childhood hypertension' -another story for another day. Be mindful of what you eat, drink little or no alcohol and more of water, exercise consistently ( u Could dance to a song in your room for 30mins) and watch your weight. The normal BMI is 18.5 - 24.nine. Below 18.5 you are underweight and above 24.nine) one is overweight and so on and so forth. A quick way to know yours is to know ur height in metres. Raise it to the power of 2, then divide it by your weight. What you get is your BMI. Finally, monitor your blood pressure regularly. Walk in to any hospital and ask any of the beautiful nurses to help check it. I hope this helps someone. Thanks.

Lincoln, That is a good message from you. unlike someone who said the woman said they will call us for a chat again. is that not not a set back? God forbid.
Hummmm, I do not agree to that sir. What eventually its a must you attend a chat will yoou either
A) Accept its a setback and attend the chat,
B) Reject the setback, absent at the chat and stay positive?
That info must have come from an insider and if you read the thread, there was a call for chat even when it was not expected. Reoccurence won't be a crime or surprising.

Tx for d response.

1. None that am aware of
2. We argue about none.
Money: he's a very generous and caring husband, I give him dat. He's not interested in my money
Sex: we av a wild sex life, always hot
Personal interest: we understand n compromise wen necessary
3. I have no plan of remarrying, am OK with my son
Madam, its clear from your response that you indeed have a wonderful and caring husband, that both of you have a perfect marriage in bed and in home generallym. I'm only interested in the PERSONAL INTEREST YOU OFTEN COMPROMISE. If its not a serious thing like hving a child outside your marriage or likes of such that may later bring a threat to your marriage, I would advice you seek family intervention on this matter. Divorce is not advisble yet in this matter, many alternative problems solving are open to you(both) to make use of. Until when all efforts made has failed, tht you may seek divorce.
Before now you were "miss"
Now your are "Mrs"
Did you even remember all you went through before your title changed to MRS; as a lady you'll understand better.
Beside, I'm not soliciting nor support your hubby's cheating on you, but men are just too weak before their wives. You caan use your powers to make things right and with the help of God.
Remember: What God has joined together...let NO MAN not even a woman put assunder.
Please I'm sorry you're been cheated. Forgive him, approach him, sort out and iron out things and make your marriage work, make your son happy having you as a wonderful parents.
Stay Blessed

Hmm, hubby has bn acting funny these days. Then I saw some chats on his phone. Apparently he's bn sleeping around town. He's got no taste, vulnerable cheap girls, gv them stipend (as low as 2k) after sleeping with them. He's got at least 4 which i read there chats, dunno how many there is!
This is d same man that has bn rebuffing my sexual advances of late for various excuses, little did I know he's painting d town white, he's insatiable as if he's just aware of his dick for d first time! He's got sm stupid friends so I know he's under influence.
Surprisingly am at ease, non of those heart-pounding head-breaking feelings, do I need to see a doc?

To d lawyers, Pls how do I go abt d divorce issue, I av an under one son, my hubby is a lawyer, he's not emotionally attached to any of those girls, just Bleep n free so he won't let me go, what can I do so he doesn't influence d divorce. He have a sis am real close with, shd I confide in her or not
Tx

I understand how you feel about your husband extr marital affairs he engaged himself. But before I would say anything, I want you to sincerely answer these few questions.
Once again I feel sorry for you being cheated!
1. During your courtship, were you aware he does this?
2. Before this occurence, among all these mentioned, which one do you argue and disagree upon mostly (Money, Sex, pesonal interest)
3. If you divorce what's your plan either to remain a single mother or to get married to someone else?
Please, sorry about this, your sincerity may help in the issue at hand. Thnks

Business / Re: Essentials For Succeeding In Any Business You Choose by shoksimba: 7:16pm On Oct 28, 2015
tweetsme:
Finding success as an entrepreneur can often come with a number of challenges. No matter what industry you are in, or how long you have been working at it, there will always be obstacles to overcome and challenges that come your way. However, there are five key lessons that every entrepreneur can use to their advantage during their journey.
1. Start your company in an industry you love.
If you want to do well, you need to start a company in an industry that you are truly passionate about, or one that you have experience in. Expertise is key to making a company work, but you need more. Before you launch, do your homework on the industry. Your company won't succeed if it's just another version of someone else’s idea. You need to locate an improvement or a new product or service that fulfills unmet demand.
Your main focuses as an entrepreneur is providing the public what they need or desire, whether they know it or not. You don’t have to be the most innovative company ever invented but you do need to offer something new and fresh, whether that's a unique perspective or simply opening a shop in a neighborhood that needs your services. Whatever it may be, your company needs to have purpose.
2. Never focus on short-term earnings.
You likely became an entrepreneur to make some money but never focus on short-term earnings. The big money is in the long-term fulfillment. No matter how much or how little you make in the short term, your focus should always be long. You don’t want to be a flash in the pan, you want to be an established, respectable company that enjoys long-term earnings.
This is precisely why so many Internet companies have little or no revenue when they start out. They focus on users first and monetizing their efforts later. Have a long-term mindset to grow an established, successful brand.
3. No niche is too small.
No niche is too small if you are willing to work hard. If you are an expert in a small or non-traditional niche, don’t be afraid to go for it. You never know where it will take you.
Just because your niche is small, it doesn’t mean that you have to think in small terms. Think how you can take that small, specific niche and grow it into something much larger.
4. Use new tools to grow faster.
Being a successful entrepreneur is all about taking an idea and growing that idea into an established company. However, if you really want to find success as an entrepreneur, you need to be willing to do whatever it takes to grow faster. This is why you need to be using new tools and technologies and taking a multi-faceted approach to growing your brand in order to find the type of success that you are looking for.
I have used social media, live videos, webinars, YouTube video and internet transparency, all of which are brand new to the financial educational market, to grow my company faster. You need to think about the tools that you personally can use to innovate in your niche and think about the tools that others are failing to utilize.
5. The more authentic and personable you are, the better.
One of the best things about social media is that you can cut through all of the marketing and advertising that so many people focus on and directly communicate with your customers and clients. If you use social media correctly, you will connect with your customers on a personal level and get to know them. It is a great way to prove your worth. You don’t always have to be polished and professional, it is all right to be yourself.
These five tips are the keys to being a successful entrepreneur. These are five of the most important strategies for standing out from the average business owner. No matter what industry you are in, focus on these keys to success and you will achieve all the success you ever imagined.
Quality post, thank you sir.
