Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 9mobile Is Currently Recruiting – Apply Now by showlayman: 7:42am On Aug 20, 2017
The management of 9mobile formerly know as Etisalat Nigeria (Emerging Markets Telecommunication Service) has raised a fraud alert on the recent recruitment scheme making the rounds.

In an official statement available to PageOne, the company said it is currently not recruiting with a disclaimer tiled “9mobile currently not involved in any recruitment scheme.”

Below is the statement from 9mobile

Disclaimer: 9mobile Currently Not Involved In Any Recruitment Scheme

The attention of the management of Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited (trading as “9mobile”), has been drawn to a message circulating on social media, particularly WhatsApp, claiming that 9mobile is purportedly recruiting through a scheme called Graduate Contract Staff.

We wish to notify members of the public that the said message is a scam as it did not originate from 9mobile. The company has not authorized anyone to act on its behalf in that regard at this time.

We urge the public to ignore the message being circulated as 9mobile publicizes its recruitment exercises via its website, verified social media accounts and public media platforms.

Below is also a copy of the recruitment message being broadcast on blogs and social platforms.

NEW ETISALAT NIGERIA COMPANY KNOWN AS 9 MOBILE IS RECURITING FOR A SCHEME CALLED GRADUATE CONTRACT STAFF* *(GCS)*

ITS 80K AND ABOVE MONTHLY ONLY FOR A PERIOD OF 2 YEARS AFTER WHICH THE PERSON MIGHT BE CONVERTED TO A CORE STAFF BASED ON HIS/HER PERFORMANCE

CANDIDATE MUST NOT B ABOVE 28 YEARS*

POSTS NEEDED
*BRANCH MANAGERS*
*COSTUMER CARE* *REPRESENTATIVES*
*COMPUTER OPERATORS*
*TECHNICAL STAFFS*

IF YOU HAVE ANYONE WHO FITS THE CRITERIA, LET THEM SEND THEIR CV TO THE EMAIL BELOW
liveopsjobrecruitment@gmail.com

All Applications must be submitted not later than 2 weeks from the date of this Publication

Owing to the rate of unemployment in the country, it is however certain that many Nigerian youths must have attempted sending their resumes to the said email address and are at the danger of being scammed by the organisers of the ploy.

Politics / Re: Check Out These Achievements And U Will Be Proud To Be Yoruba... by showlayman: 2:22am On Jun 16, 2017
Igbo people aligned with North in 1959 when NCNC formed alliance with NPC to form a govt at the centre, In 1983, Ojukwu alligned with the Northerners to be in NPN and plot the defeat of Azikiwe... In 1993, Nzeribe alligned with the Hausa with ABN to cajolled IBB to cancel June 12 election, In 1999, PDP was a party for Northerners and Igbo while Yoruba was in AC as opposition, now that Yoruba was in mainstream politics for the first time, Igbo are shouting Yoruba are always aiding the North... It is Igbo people that are always going with the North, the tide just changed, hence deal with it...
Chiaka:

My main issue is that yorubas are always aiding the north to be in power as long as this continues, we can hardly achieve true federalism, north likes to grab power in order to maintain the current imbalance and injustice in the system and this move continues to drag the country backward and not forward. Most times I wonder why the yorubas continue to do this, sometimes I thinks its for some short term benefit which will neither profit them in the long run nor other tribes which I also see as a selfish move which keeps us far away from realising a true federalism, with true federalism even the north will move from a solely dependent and power hungry region to a self actualising one.
