Fashion / Re: How To Start Tailoring In Nigeria by SHSBeautyLounge: 5:12pm On Aug 03, 2020
This is a very good advice. At Simbiat's House of Style (SHS) we practice most of these things. We never disappoint, and we delivery promptly, between 24 to 72 hrs. We have good customer relations; our work space is neat and arranged; the finishing of our clothes are superb and we don't give credits
Our prices are reasonable too.

Fashion / Re: Why Are Nigerian Tailors So Unreliable? by SHSBeautyLounge: 4:53pm On Aug 03, 2020
I think it's because they mostly have poor training, but young Nigerian designers are taking over to change the experiences. Take for instance, Simbiat's House of Style, commonly called SHS. They don't disappoint at all. In fact they deliver within 3 days and have good customer service. The only thing is that you have to pay well for their service; which is quite reasonable.
Properties / Re: Has Anyone Ever Bought Lands Or Properties From Adron Homes Properties by SHSBeautyLounge: 11:41pm On May 19, 2020
My experience with Adron Homes was very tragic.
The company's marketers are very unprofessional, and keen on collecting your money without giving you value for it. The company also gives marketers the monopoly to act as they like with their clients, as they do not do any form of follow-up after they receive deposit for land. They do not see to it that customers get value for their money or documents. All they do is to send marketers out to collect money, and have no process in place to vet the marketers or ensure they deliver to the clients.
In my case, the marketer I worked with, Uka Esther Amarachi; not only was she very incompetent and unprofessional, she insulted me several times, lied to me, and deceived me. I never got value for what I paid for.
My experience with many of the company's marketers, and even management staff prove to be the same. People who care only about collecting your money and not give you value for it. I end up losing the deposit I made for the land with the company.
Please don't be deceived by false perception their staff or any of their acquittance tries to give you.
Andron Homes is not a reputable company to deal with.

Fashion / 10 Tips On How To Feel Like An Elegant And Classy Lady by SHSBeautyLounge: 5:47pm On Apr 27, 2018
When an elegant, classy girl, walks into a room, you will be able to see the guys’ heads turn. It’s not money, it’s not education and it’s not breeding, that makes a classy girl. It’s an attitude and a determination to be that way, and anyone can do it. So, forget the Swiss finishing school and the deportment lessons, here are ten simple ways that anyone can be an elegant and classy lady:

1. Mind your language
The first thing that will scream, ‘No Class!’ to a man, is a girl who uses lots of bad language. Even if you get everything else right, if a string of four letter words comes forth from your mouth, every time you speak, you will give off the image of anything, but a lady.

2. Talk softly
Ladies, don’t need to shout to get other people’s attention. Talk softly, politely and don’t talk too fast. People will still notice you and they will treat you like a real lady in return.

3. Keep your makeup subtle
Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion and use subtle and natural looking tones. Bold lip colours, for example, can look great for an evening out, but it won’t make you feel sophisticated and cool during the day.

4. Walk tall
Walk tall and proud and walk with confidence. You can make a statement with the way that you hold yourself. So, think elegance and grace, with every step you take, and you will look and feel the part of a true lady.

5. Be careful how you sit down
Never, just plonk yourself down, in a seat and always be aware of what your clothes are doing, as you sit. Gently place yourself down, in a graceful, and ladylike manner, and remember; it should all be one elegant, fluid movement.

6. Get a manicure
Always look after your nails and get a professional manicure regularly. Elegant hands and nails are a sure sign of a lady and they look far more at home, holding a champagne flute at a party, than chipped or grubby nails ever will!

Fashion / What To Wear When You Are Going On A Date by SHSBeautyLounge: 11:57am On Apr 20, 2018
Going on a date can come with a lot of mixed emotions. You are excited and nervous at the same time especially when you like the person. You want to decide on what to eat, what to wear and what to talk about before you go on the date. While we may not be able to take-off all the nerves you might be feeling and solve all of your date anxiety such as what to eat or talk about, we certainly can give you some pointers on what to wear on your date. So, here are some fashion styles you can explore.

A short black gown: This style is what we call “the flirty girl”. This is because a black gown especially fitted ones will bring out all your curves in the right places and make you look sexy. If you choose to wear this style, you wouldn’t have to worry about how to combine other piece of clothing to your dressing. You can simply wear the gown with a sandal or any heels of your choice. You can also combine your dressing with a channel bag or a clutch purse. If you don’t have a short black gown you can consider wearing a short white gown. You will still look good either way.

A black top with a light blue jean, red cap and white snickers: We call this style “the chick girl”. This is because this style makes you look completely chick. You can also rock it with a blazer and any purse of your choice.

A black top with a black jean with a pink jacket: We call this style “the power girl”. This is because this style makes you look beautiful and confident at the same time; like the power is in your hands. If you don’t have a pink jacket. You can wear a blue jacket or a green jacket or any other colour of jacket you have in your closet. That is the power of black; it accommodates any colour for a beautiful fashion look.

A multicoloured flair dress: We call this style, “The play girl”. This is because this style makes you look warming and open. It also makes you look younger and implies you are ready to have some fun.

Tell us the type of style you will prefer to rock?
