happachris: Good morning. I want to ask:
1. how do I move like 1 million naira from my savings into salary account without it been suspiciou, I am using the account to show proof of my financial capacity.
2. If I can use an asset transferred to my name from my parents, can that serve as my personal asset declaration when submitting a reapplication? Is a stamped affidavit from a lawyer sufficient?
3. Or I am open to advice and suggestions to add this time on reapplication.
My parents are my sponsor.
My main reason for refusal was lack of personal asset and financial status.
Thank you house. That's a generic reason. It's might be broader than you think. Order for your GCMS note before reapplying. 1 Like |

Carebeyondcure: I'm so sorry for not itemizing my questions and thank you for answering my questions * Masters Degree * I was paid through bank deposit Please one more question *how else can I pay for my tuition though the school recommended CIBC but because of the bank regulation of $100 per month my dad couldn't pay for the tuition with his master card please how else can we go about it the deadline is June 20
Well I would suggest form A but your deadline is close. And Nigerian banks are unreliable. What banks do your parents have an account with? Is there an initial deposit you're required to pay?. Most schools require an initial deposit. |

Rayraydray: Hello! I applied for a Canada study visa in the month of may, shortly I received a message from the embassy saying i qualify for a Nigeria student express. Did the ielts though but I wasn’t able to meet up with the score required by the embassy as I had 5.5 in writing. My question is can I submit the ielts test like that? and if eventually I don’t submit it, what are my chances of getting the visa? Some people have been able to secure their study permit with low IELTS score, but I personally wouldn't take the risk. Submit MyBankStatement and write a letter of explanation stating you're unable to submit IELTS result because the earliest available date is way beyond the deadline. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Carebeyondcure: Hi Everyone, Please I need answers I have B.Sc. in Insurance I gained admission to study human resource management at the university of Windsor for winter 2022. I graduated in 2019, finished NYSC 2020, and I'm still working where I served but I don't have an official contract of employment with the company (because this better than sitting at home) but my boss pays me monthly from his pocket. My father is my sponsor. These are my questions... What kind of letter can I request from my boss since I don't have employment letter to include in my application, Can my father pay for my tuition from his fixed account instead of his salary account because I want to include both his salary account and his fixed account, my tuition is 11,542CAD per semester is it necessary to pay for 3 semesters before I apply is it true that I have to apply within 2 weeks of acceptance to show my seriousness even though ( I want to apply by month end because my passport is not ready) I'm resuming Jan 2022, And the acceptance l was given was based on conditions that I send my transcript and original certificate( even though I have collected it) directly to the school before April 2022 can I still use the offer letter to apply for the study visa... GOD BLESS Next time itemize your questions. It makes it easier to answer. *Firstly, what degree are you going for? It's important there's a form of progression. *A reference Letter will suffice but are you paid in cash or bank deposit. *It doesn't matter which account is used to pay and no, you're not required to pay for all three semesters. Paying for one semester is ok. * It doesn't matter when you apply. There's sufficient amount of time for you to apply since you're not applying for fall intake. Get all documents ready before applying. No need to rush. *Use a letter of acceptance to apply and not offer letter. |

I want to know if he will be able to file for my family to move to Canada after graduation. I am also looking at sending my younger brother also. But I can only afford to sponsor one person at this time. Between the both of them, who will be able to help us move in future to Canada? Thank you Both of them will only be able to migrate their own immediate family i.e wife and kids. Even that is not guaranteed. 2 Likes |

Ijeanwuli: It would have been best if you waited for a decision on your visa. You can apply elsewhere without withdrawing your application. Right now the school is right because you don't have a refusal letter. Though this is quite annoying, try to read their policy again and demonstrate with evidence that you consistently tried to reach them without response.
Maybe you can build the case using your first refusal then there might be a way to get your money back but you may need to involve a lawyer and maybe ircc sef
Kus sometimes these schools need to see crazy
The school is not right. The fact that the school refused to defer her admission, changes everything. There's no need to get a lawyer at the moment. The involvement of a lawyer should be the last resort. We talk some sense into their head first. They have a reputation to protect. @Olafunds200 chat me up. 3 Likes |

Kunfu: Please why is Uncle sponsorship a red flag in an application
It requires more to convince a VO that an extended family is sponsoring you. Your parents could have 10m and spend it all sponsoring you. Now why would an extended family with 10m balance in their account want to spend that much on you when they have their own children?. If an extended family is truly committed to sponsoring an applicant, then they must show commitment by paying tuition fee, transferring of living expenses to the applicant will go a long way. GIC arrangement is useful in such situation. So you see, anybody can sponsor you, it just requires more convincing parents and siblings would require. 1 Like |

If I didn’t withdraw, what else was I waiting for? did you read where I requested for deferment and I didn’t get any response from them instead they send half payment. After then time has gone, no more admission, if I was granted the visa which admission letter will I submit.. Hope you get where the problem is now?
You would have been provided a new LOA if your application was approved 1 Like |

Olafunds200: Good evening house Please I need your help. I got admission to MacEwan University, paid $10,058 deposit and applied for visa in October for January 2021 intake. Visa wasn’t granted then and i requested for deferment, they didn’t respond but to send $5,000 refunds. No admission how do I want to use the visa if it was granted,so I waited and hoped that something good will happen, meanwhile I had admissions for other schools too. After waiting for 7 months and nothing was coming I was frustrated and had to withdraw the application so as to go for other countries so withdrawal was granted this may and I went back to macewan that I need my complete balance. The responded that they only refund if visa was denied or pay half otherwise. I was like how will I come to school when I didn’t get deferment. Please I dnt understand what’s going on. Please elders in the house look into this matter, Maybe you should consider reapplying. It should be a win-win situation if your application is approved or denied. What's most important is that decision is made fast. If you're only interested in getting your your full refund, submit an application without LOE and proof of fund. And then provide the school with refusal letter. 1 Like |

My discipline is as follows:
1) Diploma in Computer Engineering
2) B.Eng in Computer Engineering
3) M.sc in Information Technology
4) M.Sc in Electrical Electronics Engineering
I'm 37 years old with a family of two and I want to apply for Canada or USA for a doctorate degree.
Do you think I stand any chance based on my age?
Is it better off I go the Canadian immigration route?
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks in advance. You definitely stand a chance. Age is not a barrier especially for an applicant going for a doctorate. |

MindfulV:
Does providing a convincing explanation (without showing proof) on how I expect to raise the tuition for the second year suffice? I am self-sponsored, I present my bank statement showing 30k CAD to cover my first year tuition and living expense and then say my husband will support my second year tuition, do I need to attach his bank statement? You'll need to provide proof that your husband is well established. I've gone through your previous posts, your source of fund is basically your salary. If your employer is able to state that you'll still be on the payroll while studying in Canada, that will go a long way, but that also depends on the program you're going for and what is written in your sop. 3 Likes |

ray007bu: Hello everyone, submitted my application April 23rd and NSE request followed 26th. Decided to ignore it and sent them a message via web form to process my application normally without NSE. NSE deadline was yesterday May 27th but I noticed a ghost update on the 23rd. Please does this mean that they have started reviewing my application? Eligibility hasn’t started on my profile yet As long as you do not submit NSE requirement, do not expect your application to be given priority. Eligibility review status or ghost update is not a reliable indicator of what's truly going on in the background. Any update is just a sign that something might be going on, but we can't truly tell. 1 Like |

I had 8.0 in my ielts and other documents are in place. My dad is my sponsor. Thank you Fixed deposit is an acceptable proof of fund; however, I'm not sure if MyBankStatement certificate can be generated for it. If you're unable to generate the certificate, submit a stamped statement and maybe a bank reference letter. It's all good. |

I don't know if the "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" means eligibility has started because i didn't receive any update in this regard. but it has been like that since my biometrics started showing completed Thank you to everyone for the wishes, the Grace will transcend to every hopeful applicant. This confirms what I said earlier. Applicants beyond mid April tend to have eligibility review status updated faster. There's definitely a change at some level and those benefitting from it are the new applicants. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Enjay316: Beautiful morning to everyone in this house. please no one has answered my question as regards proof of funds .I realized most people that got PPR in thos group have over #30m in either their account or sponsor. please I want to know please what is the minimum a self sponsored person like me should have in total in Naira in my bank for the estimated 6 months bank statement including one year school fees as my one year fees in 17,550 CAD.i will be hoping for an answer from the Gurus in the house.plz help a brother oo 30k CAD (inclusive of tuition fee) is enough for a self sponsored applicant going for a 1 year program. If you're going for 2 years program, funds available must cover the entire 2 years duration. I'm estimating a little above 55k cad for you, or you provide a convincing explanation in regards to where the fund for your second year will come from. This is just an opinion. 1 Like |
