akpanbaba: Only God knows where he copied his useless banking reforms from. This copy-copy has shipwrecked the banking industry in Nigeria and it will take over ten years for the industry to recover.Methink he copied from Yemen,or Pakistan.

People aren't being fair to GEJ because he is gentle, he is not the mad dog type we are used to having as leaders.
That said, he is busy reorganising; could anyone have imagined how Obj left? It was the most visble signal that blocks were being moved. A lot of what you see in this so-called 2015 saga is nak'ed justling for power, while many are shoved aside or thrown under the bus.
Even though battles are raging, you can get a sense of who is fighting and what they are fighting for. Reassuringly, it is evident that it is lovers of the status quo fighting back; that is a most sure signal that they are being thrown aside. I believe good things will come from Jonathan once the battles have been won.

Let us stop being emotional and face facts, for all I care I have not seen his subsidy palliatives and now he plans to increase electricity tariff when do not even have stable electricity.

you undoubtedly made the first mistake by being responsible for her, there is nofin wrong in 'raising' your woman but this has to be strictly under no stress, it wrong for a student or a working class to give a woman monthly allowance , this has to be reserved till marriage,,,,, God help u

Simo, lets face it.easy money is hard to turn down.If u r a male and earn a living somehow,u r already a target.babes are already giving u come on signs.I have a friend who innocently once asked a babe if he cld have a drink with her and she suggested that they go to his place for the drink. What kind of thinking is that?Even if u didnt have it in mind,as long as u r an income earning male,u r propositioned even by your wives friends.

Thanks for the advice.
I havent really started making real money but i am ok. i no get car o but things are great, even with that, i get a lot of attention from people i least expect. before now i used to teach in an IT firm and imagine a gal of abt 22 (ma student ) who happen to be from a privileged home offering me 350k for ma appartment and furnishing. She insists she will do anything for a friend in need. Before you know it she will want to start coming to cook and as na she wan pay, she definitely deserves a spare key,
I am working seriously on ma sef to strive to keep ma fly closed,
Even with these streams of mad gals arnd, we can deny the fact that some men are just dogs.

We aint trying to crucify men, i guess we have to adrres that of ladies soon.
I dont agree with the fact our sickly economy or the love of money is the root cause becos in developed economies we have greater challenges
Literature / Re: What Happened To Our Reading Culture? by simo2rule(m): 9:24pm On Feb 12, 2010
[size=12pt]Reading is not a gift, a calling but a habit that can be learnt from regular practise. You will all agree that there are lots of distractions around these days, before now, there are no mobile phones, video games, digital satellite tv channels and even the internet.Fine technology has its own advantage but it's kills reading habit at an alarming rate.So even if you dont wanna read, you cant actually fit in with your peers cos when disscussions of hardley chase's, nick catter's, sir h rider haggard's works + a host of other great writers start ow do u wanna cope?
These days, people disscuss macthes, idle away on the internet or glued all day to african magic or mnet, Those of us who still find life in reading should try and force our protegees, kids or anybody to inbibe this profitable habit.

@Poster,
It is very disheartening and this has made me scared to cast my lot with a niaja man. I think a lot of naija women have fault in this too, a lot of them keep quiet and stay in their homes even when their husbands cheat exposing them to vile diseases. If married nigerian women showed these men pepper, they would think twice before going to cheat on their wives.

They neva born the man wey won cheat on me, because we will just end up killing ourselves in that house. It will be fire on the mountain from then, I would not respect him and will make that house hell on earth for him. I know a lot of people will say he will leave me blah blah, well then let him leave. Honey' i'll be just fine. I won't consider any fools feelings that will expose me to STD's & HIV and risk making our kids orphans shior. undecided
@Abekeade08 i just hope you wont fall a victim cos if it happens wat will u do?, highest yo pack comot, who go lose? you are yoruba i think? at least from your id "ori bibe ko logun ori fifo" ok then, make the house hell on earth, he leaves and decides not to come till your fire stops burning ,

the fact remains thats u guyz living out of naija cant take it but the women in naija will want to endure no matter wat especially if she's dependant on him.
wat a world we live in naija
naija men aint that bad u know? but i'll always advice women to dig out wat could have caused their men cheating on them, my opinion sha, i dont think God designed us for monogamy their more women than men, virtually no husbands who are yearning to get laid.
Romance / Re: Infidelity In Most Nigerian Men by simo2rule(m): 10:02am On Feb 12, 2010
People are really entitled to
Abekeade08:

Annie, Why is this so? Is it because of lack of men or what? Even girls that are not married stay with their cheating boyfriends after they know he has cheated. It's so messed up to me. When i visited naija in 2008, my girlfriends were advising me not to marry a naija man, they told me they don't have a choice that's why they date naija men in, but if they did, they will date men of other races. This was a shocking revelation to me. I have dated men of other races but my preference would be to marry a naija man. God help me in making a good decision.

see my dear, dont let your friends or wateva tell u stuffs abt naija men, dont 4get that there a lot of good ones out there, just watch and pray.

It is so disheartning and alarming that greater percentage of Nigerian married men are very unfaithful. I wonder what message they are passing to younger generations cos even now, you can hardly find a guy who is sold out to just one woman.i dont understand why this is so rampant and i dont want to believe that the devil is not innocent this time around.
"The thing wen vex person pass na them baba alaye", they entice, "buga", lure, cajol and do all manner of vices to land these innocent girls on their , i understand some of these girls make dough outta this shameful act but ow on earth can we console so many housemaids that have been forcefully abused by their oga's husbands, nieces, step daughters, secretaries. they heartlessly go as far as blackmailing innocent girls who want a job in thier organizations. Daughters are no longer free to bring their friends home, lecturers happen to fall for anything in skirt, politicians are at the very top of these wicked immoral act. We need serious intervention, marriages are crashing at an alarming rate.
Pls anybody, what is the way out?
