Hi guys, please here is the transcript of my interview in which I was denied last week. I need u guys to bombard me with all the corrections u can..thanks
Vo: tell me about your studies
Me: I am going for my masters in computer science with concentration in computer information systems
Vo: what's it about
Me: (the question took me unaware cos I didn't expect it) its about the study of the management of information through digital medium by covering subject areas such as data processing, software and hardware design etc
Vo:why did you choose University of Houston Victoria?
Me :the University of Houston Victoria as one of the component institution of the University of Houston system is a well research oriented public University and this aligns with my interest because I have an interest in doing a research on developing local businesses and companies using information technology innovations... And I also got a 3000$ scholarship. Vo: (immediately reaches for the blue paper and hands it over to me).. Am sorry you are not legible for the visa approval
I politely asked her why and she said the letter will explain to me

I think thats fine, in as much as u have the consent of the other signatory and letter of consent from your sponsor. I hope the account is boyant enough? if your sponsor is working you can plead for his payslip and go with it but if its business plead for the required documents. sucess on your visa

I have his payslip for 10 months

So I had my Visa Approved this morning,

Here's the transcript

Appointment time 7:30am Abuja Embassy.
I arrived the Embassy by 6am Expecting to have a very long queue. But the crowd wasn't so much.
At 7 am they called us in to do verification and then wait for the VO to arrive.
They arrived at 7:50, and the woman at window 8 had denied everyone she interviewed. I was praying not to go there.
Then I was called and alas Window 8.

Plauses: Good morning ma
VO: Good morning, how do you do?
Plauses: I'm doing good thank you and you? How do you do too?
VO: I'm well. So give me your I-20 and passport
(I handed them over)
VO:so I see you were denied a student Visa about 11 years ago, did you go on to continue your studies?
Plauses: yes I did
VO: so I see you're going to do a Doctorate, what's your highest level of education?
Plauses:I have a bachelors degree
VO: I see you have a graduate assistantship, can you explain how that works?
Plauses: I get a full Tuition Waiver and and annual stipend in exchange for working in Research or As. graduate Assistant.
VO: so who is paying for the balance of your fees?
Plauses: I have savings from working, and my mum is co-sponsoring.
VO: do you know what kind of research you'd be doing?
Plauses: yes I'll be involved in Cancer research, my dad died from a liver cancer a couple of years back and that experience fueled my interest in cancer research.
VO: I see you work, where do you work?
Plauses: I told her my workplace
VO: what do you do:
Plauses: starts explaining (VO interrupts)
VO: Your visa has been approved, you will collect it from this destination in 3 days. Good luck.
Plauses: thank you
Congrats bro, one of the rare Abuja embassy transcripts I've seen on this thread

Donprada:
hello great people, my school said I should register with eshipglobal so that they can pickup my i20 for me but when I inquired about the fee, I saw that eshipglobal charge about $106 which is too much (mehn gbese with dollar naira rise). Please whats the possible cheapest and efficient way to get my i20? Can I just work to fedex/dhl office here in lagos and schedule a pickup? Does it work that way? Please its urgent
If eshipglobal is d only option they offered u, I suggest u go with it, uhv did same to me, they offered me 2 options, eshipglobal or they mail to me which will take 5 to 7 weeks to arrive. I paid $109 for mine, thanks to my elder brother who has been covering all the cost for me. I know $106 is much but it's a worthy sacrifice. You could still search for other options though

Thanks bro, I would have come up with a suitable answer. The main reason would make d vo reject without a half thought.

Hi everyone, am new to this thread, I have gained admission into 3 schools (University of Denver, middle Tennessee state University and university of houston, Victoria). University of houston Victoria has being my choice all along. I am still waiting for my i-20 from UHV before I apply for my f1. Thank God I came along this forum, please I need all the info I can get, I studied electrical/electronic engineering as my undergraduate course and I am going for masters of computer science (information systems). Please will this discrepancy affect me in my f1 interview? Please I need to be grounded, more questions coming please

Violence against women is bad and we totally condemn it, but it would have been more credible to tell a full story like how everything started and what lead to your younger brother attacking you. The only thing we can get from this your post is that he just beat you up.. I hate to say this but looks like the post was made to garner sympathy

Politics / Video Of Violence At Edo House Of Assembly Over Impeachment Of Speaker by Simon21(m): 9:27pm On May 03, 2016
The video shows the impeached speaker storming the house with loyalists and thugs to seize the mace and evict the new speaker but was resisted by those loyal to the new speaker which lead to a free for all fight. Quite shameful!!
