Romance / I Offered To Give Her #1million Just To Have S*x With Her. This Is Her Response. by skimena: 6:31pm On May 31, 2020
There's this young beautiful girl that is my friend. she's just 19. she's indeed an epitome of black beauty. we are very close. there's nothing about myself I don't tell her. infact we confide in each other. but I like that thing that's under her legs. I just want to have a bite of it and she's aware I'm in a relationship. I've used all my antics such as buying her things but it's not just working out. so I told her to name her prize but she didn't say anything so I offered to give her #1 million either in cash or by cheque just to enter that punana island. She said no that she's not ready to start having sex now. I think she's not wise.

Romance / Re: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by skimena: 2:53am On May 31, 2020
BobbyHammar:
Anybody who still believe in the scam of no sex till marriage needs to get their head checked. If only you know how many marriages have been destroyed or are still suffering because of this, you will never think of falling for such a scam.

What baffles me is those who keep going to church but yet don't know anything about bible and will keep deceiving themselves that sex before marriage is a sin (WHICH YEYE SIN).

Many will say it's formication but they don't even know the true meaning of fornication as referred to in the bible. Take for example when Joseph was dating Mary, yes we agree she was still a virgin because it was their own decision not to have sex yet but how many people realized that there were other young women that existed then as well. Many had boyfriends too and some had sex with their boyfriends while some didn't because Mary wasn't the only virgin.

The bible never condemned those that had sex with their boyfriends before marriage but it was just the divine choice of the Father to select a virgin rather than a lady that had sex already.

Let's stop all these brohaha low African mentality of calling sex before marriage a sin. God only sees a clean and a pure heart, not who had sex when or how. You all should better respect yourself and save the doctrine of marriage by testing the waters to ensure you are ready to sail on that water for the rest of your life. Not after marriage you start looking for divorce because penis is too big or too small or maybe Virgina is too tight or too wide or its always one minute sex.

Haba.
I don't blame u at all because it's your opinion. But I really blame whomsoever that pushed this to d front-page.

A man established a zoo and made the entrance fee N50,000= but no one went there. He reduced it to N40,000= but still no one came. He then reduced the fee to N20,000= still people didn't come. Finally, he made it FREE entrance and soon, the zoo was filled with people. Then, he quietly locked the gate of the zoo, set the lions free and made the exit fee N150,000= and everyone paid.

MORAL

A. As you go about in life, beware of free offers.

i. Most of the time, they are big traps.

ii. Behind every free gift, there is high possibility of an ulterior motive.

iii. You may lose your life trying to get a free ride.

iv. You may lose all your money trying to get free airtime or free data.

B. Note that most promotions on the Internet, Facebook and WhatsApp platforms are big scams.

Today we live in a human society where there's no free lunch. The 'tat' you would give for the 'tit' you received could be too costly for you.

i. Avoid it. Why? Because every thing with value is valuable, it can never be actually or totally free!

Family / The Meaning Of Next Of Kin by skimena: 1:56am On May 29, 2020
*The Term “Next Of Kin” Simpliciter, Does Not Confer The Right Of Inheritnce On The Person So Named: Of What Use is the term?*

INTRODUCTION:

The meaning and the legal implication of the term “next of kin” have been constantly misunderstood by the ordinary public. It appears, though erroneously, that many people think that once you are appointed the next of kin of a person, it automatically gives you the right to inherit the person’s estate upon his demise. In fact, many people think that, a next of kin gives an exclusive right over a person’s property.

The above erroneous believe and understanding of the term next of Kin has made many people to shy away from the need to make a Will. This is because, they think appointing a Next of Kin, is a way of naming your beneficiary. However, the above assumption is not in conformity with the law. It must be noted that, ignorance of the law is not an excuse.

WHAT THEN IS THE MEANING OF THE TERM “NEXT OF KIN”?

The term, next of Kin has been described as the nearest blood relative of a person. See JOSEPH v FAJEMILEHIN O.O & Anor (2012) LPELR-9849(CA). The term can also refer to a person who can be contacted or notified in cases of emergencies or eventualities. For instance, one of the forms that is usually filled while on transit, requires the information of next of kin. This is needed in case of any accident. In other words, where there is an accident involving that person, his next of kin shall be notified or informed.

Also, the term is constantly put into use by hospitals. In this case, next of kin means a person who can make medical decisions for a person who is incapacitated or unable to do so, during emergencies.

The term is also frequently used in financial documents by banks and other financial institutions. In this instance, next of kin means a person who can ensure that the proper steps are taken towards the recovery of the money held at the bank, at the demise of the owner. In other words, being a next of kin of a person, as regards his money in the bank, does not give a right to inherit such money, either partly or as a whole.

WHAT IS THE LEGAL IMPLICATION OF THE TERM NEXT OF KIN AS IT RELATES TO THE LAW OF SUCCESSION?

It must be noted that appointment of a next of Kin is not a substitute to the making of a valid WILL. The reason is because, when a person dies testate (that is, the person made a valid Will), the matter of next of kin is of no relevance. The estate of a deceased person who dies testate is distributed strictly according to the Will. Thus, his next of kin will only be entiled to his estate, if the WILL says so.

On the other hand, in a situation where the deceased died intestate (that is, without making a valid Will), the question of the distribution of his estate is governed by the law. The customary law/Islamic law or the Administration of Estate Law will apply depending on the kind of marriage contracted by the deceased. In other words, if the deceased contracted a statutory marriage (popularly known as court marriage), the distribution of his estate shall be governed by either the English Law or the Administration of Estate Law. See OBUZEZ V OBUZEZ (2007) 10 NWLR (Pt.1043) 430. It must be noted that the Administration of Estate Law provides for the order of inheritance which must be complied with strictly and a next of kin, is not among the categories of those entitled to inheritance in this instance.

In other words, Succession is regulated by law. It is only those entitled by law to inherit a deceased person’s estate that can do so. A next of Kin is not one of such persons. However, this is without prejudice to his right to inherit on a personal ground. Thus, if the person so named as a next of kin is the son of the deceased, he is entitled to inherit, not as a next of kin, but because he is the legitimate son of the deceased. Also, if the person so named as a next of kin, is also named in a valid Will made by the deceased, he is entitled to an inheritance not because he is a next of kin, rather, because, he is named in the WILL.

CONCLUSION

A next of kin, who is usually a blood relative, though not always, has no legal right of inheritance by virtue of his status as a next of kin simpliciter. However, it must be noted that the appointment of a next of kin is not a means or method of naming an heir. A next of Kin is not recognised as an heir under the Nigerian law of succession.

Therefore, next of kin, stricto sensu, does not by any stretch of imagination, entitle the person so named an automatic right of inheritance. If the person so named as a next of kin is not entitled either by the WILL or by other laws of inheritance, to inherit, he cannot be conferred with the right of inheritance by the mere fact that he is named as a next of kin.

It is hereby submitted that when it comes to the law of succession, the term next of kin has no legal implication. It therefore does not confer the right of inheritance. Thus, it is erroneous and unlawful for anyone to claim any inheritance on the singularly reason that he is named as a next of kin. Such claims have no legal bases and are unfounded.

Jobs/Vacancies / The Interviewer Who Hated Me by skimena: 9:47pm On May 22, 2020
THE INTERVIEWEE WHO HATED ME

6 years ago a guy looked at me face to face, and boldly told me; "I don't like you!"

I immediately fired a response, I asked him that day; "Thank you for the honest feedback, but those that you like, how has it made their life better? How does your liking people pay their bills or take a bank loan? My brother keep your like, I need God's like And that's what guarantees my future.

Today I joined a CEO friend of mine in an interview Panel to recruit some new staff, it was a long session, as we returned from a coffee break to continue the hectic interview session, here was this same guy walked in with his grey jacket and CV coming for the interview.

Our eyes kissed by fluke, we immediately recognised eachother; "the world is indeed spherical", I soliloquized.
He felt very uncomfortable through out the interview, one could clearly see the volcanic eruption ongoing in his whole nervous system, he even mistook his date of birth for his last date of employment. It wasn't yet my turn to ask him questions so I allowed everyone to take their turns with him and deliberately opted to interview him last.

When it got to my turn, the first thing I said was, "I LIKE YOU so much, you look to me like a brilliant and intelligent person, but it seems you are not doing well now because something bothers you, true?"

"That's very correct Sir!" He responded.

"Ok look at me straight in the eye, I was never offended that day, it is very normal that sometimes as humans you just don't like certain people, but I wasn't bothered either, because whether you liked me or not, it was inconsequential to my life and my success path - as you can see, fate has brought you to my lair"

I stood up and beckoned him to come and embrace me, everyone on the panel at this point were at sea - wondering if we had expeditiously recast an interview session to a Hollywood movie scene.

He hugged me so long and deeply that I felt it. Then I told him, "now get your confidence back bro and answer the questions like a Pro Shark that you are, we all burst into laughter, everyone suddenly liked him and the room became livelier - the interview became more like a discussion, well to cut the long story short, he got the job!

Lessons:

1. Be careful how you treat people when they appear to be in their vulnerable state, your next level may be hanging in their balance; somewhere in the future.

2. If you dislike someone, it is not their fault, it is YOUR FAULT, work on yourself to find good in people and reinvent your Mind to see everyone as likeable.

3. Don't spew hatred vocally just because it came into your heart, you may say it to someone who will keep it forever and use it against you when you find yourself in your own low moments and need them.

4. Learn to forgive, overlook people's dislike and hatred for you, dont punish people just because you have the position and privilege to do so, bless them rather - that's how you court God's blessings, favour and protection.

5. Share this post, someone needs it to heal from their past burdens of unforgiveness they have been carrying which has been hindering their promotions and inhibiting God's blessings flowing their way. COPIED.

But his response got me thinking. he said" did God not said we should go and be fruitful? I said yes! he asked again did God not say we should win souls for him? I was still listening to him. then he said he will convert his children to the Lord, including himself and his wife. by so doing he must have won more souls to the kingdom of God. He concluded his words by saying if you can't win a soul then produce a soul. Do u really think he's right?

Eedris Abdukarim also sang that popular hit song back then titled Nigeria jaga jaga. one will also think that after the song the government will accept the criticism and correct their mistake but what do we see? African China also sang a song titled food nor day brother water nor day. our road nor good etc. so who's fooling who? why will the government keep fighting the voice of the masses? if what these musicians are singing is wrong then the government should prove them right.

Romance / Should I Report Her To Her Dad? by skimena: 3:01am On May 09, 2020
There's this beautiful teenager of about 17 years of age. a very beautiful and skinny fine girl that once lived in the same compound with me. her dad was the caretaker of the compound but later had misunderstanding with the landlord and he was asked to pack out of the house. to make long story short. they moved to a place that is not too far from us. her dad is a cab driver n her mom is late. the dad doesn't allow them to leave the house without reasonable excuse. but since on Monday till yesterday Friday. everyday consecutively this girl will take permission from her dad that she's coming to my house and that she'll spend some time with me and my family since I don't stay alone, and considering our close relationship with the dad, the dad will grant her permission quick quick but whenever she comes to my place she will spend like ten minutes then Snick out only to come back in d afternoon with one flimsy excuse or the other that she's within the neighborhood. me and my family are beginning to suspect her movement that there's a boy in the area she's coming to see. will it be right for me to tell her dad? I just thinking about it on what to do
