Dear House, please I need your help. I have an unconditional offer for msc data analytics for Solent university. 70 percent of the school fees has been paid as deposit. I have requested for CAS for 3 weeks. Yet the school keeping telling me it’s work-In-progress and they will revert shortly for over 2 weeks repeated calls and mails. Just yesterday I chatted with their live-chat representative and the lady is saying she is not sure if the course will be processed for visa application. I have sent an email to the admission team to confirm my suspicions and no one is responding.

Please what should I do. Has anybody gotten CAs from Southampton Solent university.

That was a right move you made. I paid 87% of my tuition but I wish I paid all. Dollar- naira rate won't be favourable in the coming weeks.

My dear that wasn't a right move. The CBN flexible exchange rate will make the dollar to crash. Which good news for those who people planning to pay tuition. Just do your research.

-his person statement -2m

-CAC
-tax clearance
-property documents

My personal documents

pay slip.
Personal statement of act -2.1m
Personal biz cac
Personal asset- CofO of two plots of land
Marriage cert
Birth certificate of my son
Admission letter
My personal biz tax clearance
Other informations-. I have ond in SLT and hnd in biochemistry
I am working as a quality control officer
I intend to study pgc in food safety and quality assurance

Thanks for your advice and comments..my God will bless you beyond your expectations.

My dear you have a very strong tie with your home and you were able to show proof of personal asset.

However the red flag is that your proof of personal asset shows that you are almost richer than your sponsor. If you could boost of 2plots of land, with a biz and 2.1m bal then you need a sponsor with a good cash balance. not a 1.5m cash balance sponsor. Your asset relative to your sponsors asset need to show that you are depending on the sponsor. You don't need to show the VO that you are richer than your sponsor.

The grey area concerning your application is that your sponsor(relative) is not your sibling but resides outside your country of residence. VOs are more comfortable dealing with a sponsor who is not your sibling but resides in your country of residence. This gives an EXTRA assurance that your sponsor will not neglect you. But Note that these factor come into place because VOs are given power to exercise their discretion application review.

Of course I have read the refund policy of the school. It says 30 days, it's past that and I'm still being asked to wait. I want to hear from someone who has had their tuition deposit refunded.

I have had tuition deposit refund before

Hi everyone, has anyone had issues getting a refund of tuition deposit? Especially for those that were denied visas or changed schools. How long did it take to get your money back?

Time frame for refund depends on the refund policy of the school. Try read up the refund policy of the school. Most schools do 4 to 5 weeks after they get your banking details.

Hello house, I have been following this thread and it is really impactive to my career but I will like to ask these few questions;
I got admitted to niagara college for september resumption and need to pay part payment for tuition fee but unfortunately I can't get all the part payment for now. Pls can I go ahead and pay what I have so that I can proceed to embassy ?
Secondly, what does the payment of part payment for tuition fee means for VO should incase If I don't pay?
Pls treat as urgent. Thanks

Dear you need your letter of acceptance as a requirement for you to apply for a study permit in canada. However niagara college requires that all student must pay first semester fees befoe they can issue you your letter of acceptance. Please read conditions to accept admission. Some schools do not require you to pay a dime b4 admission but unfortunately in Niagara college you must pay your 1st semester fees b4 they acceptance letter.

Hi guys,

I plan to submit by paper route on Monday (next week). Is it possible to give my biometrics same day cos I won't be around after that day.

Yes it is possible. You have to ensure you are in VFS as early as 8am or 9am to avoid the rush

Your soa should be printed within the same month you would be applying.

That's not true. Your SOA print out date must not exceed 30days(1 months) from the Visa application date.

Hello House, Please I need you guies help urgently. I Recieved a mail from CIC that my application was not granted based on the following reasons
*Personal Asset and Financial status
*Family ties in canada and country of Residence
*Purpose of Visit.

I used an uncle as a sponsor wit a bal of 16m, my study leave letter was attached, my payslip, my application shows that I have a 3years experience in HR and I am going for a graduate Certificate in HR.

I want to appeal the application- how do I address these concerns raised by the VO on my appeal

Hello House. I submitted my application August 21, Biometrics August 24. I checked the tracking status and it reads Visa application is being processed. It's 7th weeks already with the Public Holiday. Just curious.
