Good evening,
Please i have a bit of an issue. My mum gave birth to me at an early age without my dad so, i grew up bearing my grandparents name [her parents]. She later got married and had 2 kids for her husband [though late now]. So their surname is different from mine.

On my age declaration, it states my grandparents as my parents. Though grandad is late now.

Now i want to apply for visa [for my exam], if i mention my step brothers as my siblings, and redo another age declaration to input my biological mum as my mother;

1. Do i add a letter from my grandma stating she was my legal guardian?

2. I want to add the birth certificates of my siblings and mum. Is that okay? To serve as ties

3. My mum didn't change her name on her official documents after marriage so we kinda bare similar surname. Is this a problem?

4. Who gets to write the introduction letter for me? My mum or grandmum? Or both?

The visa is valid for the duration on the visa sticker. You can travel the very next day you got your visa. However be ready to answer questions at POE if you travel earlier than stated in your visa application form.

Can i travel after the stipulated date on my visa application?

Saying there is no minimum is like we are not being honest with this question,I have asked this same question here and no one seems to provide a definite answer,same answer you gave was what some of the respondent gave.....But we all know that an account balance.of #500k WILL NEVER SECURE YOU A UK VISA,NO MATTER HOW STRONG YOUR HOME TIES IS.However going by what.I have read here from those who made a successful application I will say a closing balance.of #1.2million with genuine documents and strong reasons/ties makes.you stand a better chance

Please, I want to sit for a professional exam in UK. My boss has offered to sponsor my trip and accommodation as it will be an opportunity to also visit the company's headquarters in Uk. Do I state I'm going for an exam, or just say I'm going to visit the company's Hq then while there I sit for the exam.

Good day house. Hope everyone is having a splendid weekend!
I have some few questions to ask.
Was discussing with my boss how I've never traveled to any country, so she decided i visit the Uk since that's where the company's Hq is. Said the company will cover accommodation and if she need present anything like sponsorship letter or so i should let her know. But,I'm a bit worried.
1.A friend told me the chances of me getting a visa is slim since i haven't traveled to any country. That i should try and visit Ghana first.

2. I plan traveling by September 2017, though right now i have just $800 in my dom account, and 100,000 in my salary account, because i just got a job in January. But, after being paid, i move the money to my diamond account (my savings account i just opened last month) My salary is 170,000 after tax so i know i can save up more. Or do i ask my boss for account statement on my behalf?

3. I know I'll be asked my purpose of visit. Should it be leisure? Cos that doesnt seem right if the company is sending an invitation letter. Or can my boss invite me as a friend instead? Cos she said she can do that too. Instead of company invitation route.

4. When is the right time to start my application?

Pls I still haven't gotten my call up number, despite I paid the required 4k. I'm worried. My school has nothing to say pertaining this issue. Though a mail from nysc said a mistake was made in the data sent by my school. Still no list of call up numbers yet in my school (UNICAL)

Commit suicide ke! because of call up number....hmmm. Anyway, I have same issue but nysc sent me a mail yest saying my school made an error on my data. Contacted my school, but the usual bla bla. Its best if u have someone working in nysc that can help u check y the delay. But from what I was told, nysc is still in the process of sending out call up numbers and also trying to rectify issues. But the sooner u can identify the problem, the better.

I paid the 4k. Been awaiting my call up number but just got an email today saying
'You havent received a callup no due to problem with the data your inst supplied.Inst have been notified.If they rectify the mistake,you will get a callup no.However,your payment remains valid anytime'.
