Brother, you seem like one of these "iwe" people who take everything too seriously. That was meant to be something jocular na. I thought you as a stalite would recognise aro from a mile away, anyway I'm sorry. smiley

You don't even know me so don't assume I view life from any perspective yet. I might be gay for all you know with Dejii01 being my sweetheart. grin

There's a quote my mum uses when I go on the defensive even before she begins accusing me of something.

"The goat wey neva chop yam wey dey do meeee know say hin eye don dey the yam Tey Tey" cheesy

Again, I'm joking tongue

I'm also in Faculty of Technology. You seem like a really serious minded person. Please, I'd like to meet you. I'll take your number and chat you up if you don't mind. Ese sir.

Meanwhile, you and Miracy have to pay for using our thea...Oops *covers mouth quickly*

grin

When the whyner becomes the whynee... cheesy

During your speech, you suddenly changed tone from Annoyed to Aro... Lol...
Me too dey try do wise crack aro for you ni jare... Na corporate offensive tactic be that... Lol!!! grin

People think i'm the all-serious type(for where)... Lol... Na unfamiliarity cause am ooo. I believe that there's time for everything...
Personally, I joke alot but I mind who i joke with. You don't know how everyone would react. wink
If you care to know, I'm majorly melancholic and partly sanguine.

"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more
important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the
world." - Albert Einstein. That's what differentiates the mere scholar from the creative scholar. Which do you choose to be?

"Never let your work drive you. Master it and keep it in complete control." -
Booker T. Washington. Many students fail in this. Know your limits and maximize your opportunities. Don't read to your hurt.

"What separates those who achieve from those who do not is in direct proportion
to one's ability to ask for help." - Donald Keough. If you're not informed, you'll be deformed. Shrug off every form of timidity and shyness, they'll only leave you with regrets in the future.

"If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the
answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place."
- Nora Roberts. It's like expecting an answer when no question was asked. Is that possible? I guess your answer is as good as mine.

Hello guys and gals. How are y'all? I hope y'all had a splendid day.

cheesy cheesy
*whispers *I'm actually eyeing the post of the president wink

You're a law student??

Chai...! Post of the president? You wanna start a feministic revolution ni yen...

But... I agree... It's possible. You'll just need to create a very convincing awareness as to why a female could take-up the role of president.
But you have to start beating the guys to the post early... You need to start from your faculty...

Wow... This conversation is really getting interesting. I love people who love to break-through barriers, think out of the box and aim higher than deemed possible. Its kind of my style wink

I'm not a law student(i presumed that's what you meant earlier but just had to confirm), I'm a Mechanical Engineering student.

I'd like to continue this conversation elsewhere. Add me up on Whatsapp - 08132210524.

Eunixa:
Hey everyone, I have a question.
Please can someone give me the full address description to go to the computer science lab where they correct errors made during online screening from mozambique hall?

Simply take a bike and tell the rider you are going to Computer centre...
If not, make your way to the senate building(you should know where this is) along the main coming from the halls.
Continue down the road past the faculties of health(on your right) and biological sciences(on your left).
You'd get to the faculty of pharmacy. The computer centre(or lab) is opposite fac. of pharmacy.

Note: Ensure that you don't get to the school of postgraduate studies. It's beyond fac. of pharmacy and comp. centre.

Safe journey!

Wish you all traveling mercies.. .. Using this medium to inform all Ogun State indigenes to please drop their contacts here or send it to me as a pm as the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) executives will love to add you to the whatsapp group in other to get your details and get you registered as a bona-fide member of the association.

It's pertinent to note that being a member of this great association is a great privilege cos there are lotta benefits apart from the bursary payment you'd be entitled to.

Anticipating your responses... God bless.

Heyah, pele.. .. All will be well ooo
Hoping for a better session.. ..

Yeah, I'm seriously interested in the school politics oooo.. . I'm really into it wink

BTW... you're in LLB what??

Yeah, I'm hoping for such too...

So, I should be expecting "Miracy for Vice President" in a few years time or you don't plan on going that far?

Besides, what's LLB?

Miracy:

Heyah.. . Hope you're feeling better now??

I prefer staying on campus jawe.. . It's best but I'm also considering staying off campus too. Getting a place off campus is not very feasible tho. .. I applied for block rep in moremi and I'm still gonna try balloting and other means too.

Well, the headaches are still there but I'll be alright soon...
It's one of those things I get when I don't have enough sleep for a while.
That's why I never wanted to stay @ home this long...
I'm usually so busy, all day long, that my only free time is in the night...but I have to prepare for next semester.
I heard about and saw how it will be... Seeing mass failures in core-courses made me alert as to what I had to do to escape such backlash.

You could achieve that goal of being a block rep, that's if you play you cards well.

Tell me, are you interested in school politics?

Miracy:

I'm having problem with accommodation too.. . Dunno where I'm gonna stay if i resume on Thursday.. .. I believe all will be well sha.
Are you staying on campus or off campus for the next session??

Happy Sunday to you too!! ! How was church service??

Church was great, though i had to leave early. I had serious headaches.

I'd like to stay on-campus(plan A) and i'm sorting it out: balloting and stuffs wink(you know what i mean). I still chose off-campus as my plan B...
I prefer to squat(if it gets to that) off-campus than on-campus... I know what those squatters in my room faced, and its unnecessary hustling for me.

Let's just say I have two options which i'm pursuing but i prefer plan A to B.

How about you... What are your plans and preferences?

Asin ehn, that exam period na die... OAU will sha not kill us.
Gonna resume this week... Thursday or Friday sha

Same here... Thursday on my mind but Friday is my plan B(just in case all doesn't go as planned).
I have some unfinished businesses in school. Accommodation issues being one of them: 'Omole' no try at all ooo.

BTW, Happy Sunday!

Boss mi i greet you... How's you??

As in ehn...It's needed. I'm enjoying myself at home jawe... I cannot come and goan die jawe grin

I'm doing great... Trying to 'muscle-up' through enough eating... What more can I do? I too cannot come and go and die na...

As in, that our last exam period almost drained me. I remembered the look on my friends and family faces when i arrived at home... They were like..."Them dey punish una for that school?" Lol...

But I no fit stay for house for long ooo... With this postponement of resumption...

When do you plan on resuming?
Education / Re: The Obafemi Awolowo University Admission Thread For 2014/2015 Academic Session. by Solexy96(m): 5:24pm On May 09, 2015
Hello fellas, how y'all doing? Hope you are getting prepared for resumption. I can see that you've all been making good use of the thread for enquiries and likes. Information is vital for success(something that a few of us, stalites, missed and a few of you, freshers, still will).

I commend my fellow colleagues who have been rendering every bit of help they could to ensure that y'all have a stress-free resumption... God bless them...

I sight the lawyer(in the making), ex-miss nairaland and fellow colleague, miracy. How hibernation dey go for house na?

Hey guys, I got a question.
For that bedspace clearance-ish, the instruction there is that we are to print 3 copies, please is it really necessary for all of them to be coloured? Is there any prob if any of them is black and white?
Whether coloured or black n white is not important. What's important is that it is clear and legible.

When i say prepared, I mean registration-wise with complete documents and stuffs not food-stuffs nor basic utensils.
Those can be bought even on campus...

Ok. Yes, there may be two or three but its only lazy students that get intimidated by tough lecturers. I dont believe in pessimistic utterances that claim that one lecturer hindered one's success. No lecturer would mark a correct answer wrong without risking his status. Cos if a student is sure that he's been victimized by a lecturer, he can call-up his script for review.

It's good that you're ready. Doing your best might not be up to the lecturer's expectation and that's what kills students. Take time to study the lecturer's pattern of reasoning in both class and assessments(tests and exams) and all should go on smoothly. That's why in moments of massive failure, some students still get A-s. Its not about how brilliant you are only, its about how smart.
