I want my mum to come over to the US in September 2023. I have filled out the DS160 and paid visa fee but the only available interview date is from next year September.

I really need her to come by September this year cause I'll be having a baby at about September this year.

Does anyone have an idea on how I can get her a closer interview date even if it's October this year.

Spoil how? People on the line still get visas. Although I understand you about the delay in process interviews. I thought it has improved.

Yeah, people still get visas but the wait is undeniably long and frustrating.

If he starts the filling, he will not apply for a nonimmigrant visa again o so if his GC process takes 1 or 2 years(yes it can, high possibility ) does it mean that he will stay 2 years without traveling to see his children? That was why I said he should reapply for the B1/2 visa.

Your sister should just file for him.

Please don't file for him, he will spoil every chances he gets. And besides, there is a visa retrogression for GC. So getting GC through relative filling is a long process. He should apply again and re-strategies his story. Goodluck

Hmmm all I did was provide their travel history and occupation because I felt the responders might ask about it. They are coming for summer vacation and certainly visit their children. 2 of the children with families in USA. Dad is 64 years old and mom is 55 years old. For accommodation, we provided the details of their hotel in the DS160 application. Thanks you

1. Medical Emergency Appointment request denied as a result of lack of DS-160 is kind of not right to me, but if you received the email personally (not that an agent or someone forwarded it to you) then may be.

2. Naturally, MRV , USA contact hospital (doctor/specialist) invitation letter , Nigeria hospital (doctor/specialist) referral letter and payment (hospital bills deposit ) receipts are the documents i thinks are sufficient to request for a Medical Emergency.

3. I might get the call number for USA based callers for you but you may ask a family member to use the new call number i provided to call the cgi team first.

4. But let me be honest with you. it seems you re going to get another MRV for Daddy because once the Emergency Appointment Option disappeared it's not coming back again.

Chaiii thank you so much, this is very painful! Why do we get just 1 emergency request after paying that amount for visa fee.

I applied for a medical emergency date for my daddy, but I got an email that it was denied because I did not provide the DS-160 confirmation page. I tried submitting it with the right documents but I could not find “Request for emergency request on his portal so I used the “Provide feedback option and also sent the request via emails too. Please what can I do? His travel is very urgent for medical. I believe they would have approved it if DS-160 page was provided.
