Alleged serial rapist, Michael Asiwaju, AKA Mike Cash who is alleged to have raped numerous women, some in his car and some in hotel rooms, was called out by Twitter users who found old news article where he was arrested for blackmail and rape.



Also It was stated that his mother has been dead for a long time and not hours ago as he claimed.


Replying to the allegations, Mike said he spent half a Million Naira on drinks for the women then had sex with them when he was high. He didn’t state if the ladies consented to the sex.He also released nude photos which he claimed women sent to him via his DM.



Twitter users pointed out that the nudes of the women he uploaded aren’t the same ones accusing him of rape. Mike Cash later claimed his mother died on Saturday, Jan 12, after reading the rape accusations against him. He also threatened to commit suicide, but someone who claims to know Mike Cash and his family said that his mother and father have been long dead.


Twitter users dug out an old news report where it was reported that Mike was arrested for blackmail and rape.The 2017 report by Premium Times said Mike accused police of extorting him but it was later revealed that Mike was actually arrested by the police after he was accused of blackmail and rape by a female student of University of Ilorin. Mike was also accused of trying to bribe his way out of the rape case.

An Hausa man was recently captured by residents in Edo state after stealing panties and other clothing items.


He stole the items at Lagos street in Ring road area, Benin city and was caught at Orominyan area by the residents. After being tortured, he refused to disclose the amount he was to make from selling the underwears.


Amongst the items retrieved were female leggings, pants, boxers, underwear and other clothing items.

The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma, declared the re-election of Enugu state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi an easy run because of the governor’s outstanding performance and uncommon leadership style.

A 21-year-old Las Vegas woman is wanted by the police for allegedly using a stolen car to run over and kill a Las Vegas nail salon owner who chased her last weekend for failing to pay for a $35 manicure.


The suspect, Krystal Whipple, tried to pay for her manicure with a fraudulent credit card and told the manicurist, Ngoc Q. Nguyen and her husband that she was going to her car to get cash before beginning to drive away.


Las Vegas police released storefront security video footage of the Saturday afternoon incident showing Nguyen jumping in front of a black sedan before being dragged beneath the car as it speeds away, along with a plea for information on the whereabouts of the suspect, Krystal Whipple.


The husband, whose name has not been released, can be seen in the security footage holding onto the vehicle from behind.


Police said the car was a rental stolen last month and was later found abandoned at a nearby apartment complex.


According to Clark County District Court records, Whipple was convicted in 2017 in Las Vegas of attempted possession of a stolen vehicle. She was sentenced to four months in jail last year for violating probation in that case.

The man who is an atheist, committed the act to show his disbelief in Christianity by burning the bible just to prove to people that there is no power in the Bible.


He further said it had being a week since he burnt the Holy Bible, and no wrath has fallen upon him neither has he lost any money but rather his money has increased since he burnt the Bible. He said:

The Bayelsa State Police Command arrested Mr Sunday Otasi for allegedly killing his 2 sons with a poisonous substance which was identified as Sniper, over a suspicion of witchcraft.


The 42-year-old father got the help of his younger brother, Levai Ayah, and they tied the boys to trees and forced them to drink the Sniper.


The incident was confirmed by the state’s commissioner for police, Aminu Selah, who disclosed that the father had made a confessional statement, while the search for the younger brother is still ongoing. The third son who was also tied to a tree managed to escape and is in critical condition.


Otasi, who hails from Agbobiri-Okodia in the Yenagoa local government area of Bayelsa, took his three sons, Success 14, Miracle 12, and Godstime 10, to a bush along Glory Drive Road, Igbogene, Yenagoa, with the help of his younger brother, Levai Ayah and tied the boys to trees and forced them to drink the poison.


According to reports, the children were said to have gotten into trouble with their father in September 2018 when a Yenagoa-based prophet, George Odoko, of the George Odoko Outreach Ministries, told Otasi that his children were wizards and were responsible for his illness, and since then, Otasi and his relatives reportedly tortured the children, based on the belief that they had been bewitched by their mother, who was no longer in the family.


Otasi, however, denied killing his sons, saying he only brought them to Yenagoa on December 29, 2018, for deliverance at Odoko’s church, because the prophet could not attend to them and he told his younger brother, Ajah, to return his children to his mother in the village.


He further claimed of having no knowledge of what happened to his children, saying “I don’t know what my brother did to my children on the way back to the village.”

Questioned in his hospital bed, the surviving son, Success, said he and his brothers were taken to the bush and forced to drink poison by their father and his brother.


He further said that his father told them they were going for a church service in Yenagoa, but diverted to the bush where they were tied up and given the substance to drink.He said:

"My father came to take us from our grandmother and told us that we were going to a church in Yenagoa, but when we got to the road, he and his brother took us to the bush and tied me and my younger brothers to trees and gave us ‘Sniper’ to drink.

I managed to come to the road after I used my legs to untie the rope and people saw me and took me to the hospital."

The Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi assisted victims of the recent fire outbreak that gutted a petrol station, three shops, a commercial bus and two tricycles, among others, along Nike Lake Road by Penoks Junction, Trans Ekulu, Enugu.


Ugwuanyi who earlier directed the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, to meet with the victims. He arrived at the scene shortly after the fire was put out by the State Fire Service and later met with the victims at the Government House and gave them financial assistance.


One of the victims, whose boutique was burnt and who spoke on behalf of others, Mrs. Esther Okpara, said the governor gave the three affected shop owners the sum of N500,000 each, N250,000 to another shop owner with less damage and agreed to replace the burnt commercial bus and two tricycles for the owners. A mobile food seller and two tenants, according to her, got N100, 000 each from the governor while two okpa sellers, a vulcanizer and one other victim got 50,000 each.


Thanking him for his benevolence and compassionate disposition to them, she said:

"We have never had it so good.

In fact, I pray that all the days of my life, I will never live to witness such incident again. It was so terrible that we ran out of our homes but after the whole thing, we were surprised to see our governor immediately.

He came to see us and to see what happened. We thank God no life was lost. We give God the glory in Jesus Name. Amen. Above all, the governor took care of us. When he came, he saw our shops, the things that were affected in our shops. He didn’t stop at that; he invited us here to the Government House. He saw us one after the other and gave us cash gifts.

I remember the day we voted for him in 2015. It was drizzling but we went all the way to vote for him and he has never disappointed us."

About few minutes to enter into the new year, a fatal accident occured near Bola Ige International market along new Ife-Ibadan expressway, Gbagi, Ibadan, Oyo state capital, claiming 30 lives.


According to reports, the victims were crushed to death by an oncoming trailer from Iwo road axis which rammed into the commercial buses by the entrance of the market. The Gbagi accident which occurred around 11:45pm, led to heavy gridlock which saw vehicles enroute Ife from Ibadan stranded for several hours.


There is no news to verify if the trailer suffered a brake failure or if the affected buses were parked on the road, but sources confirmed that only two people initially survived the accident and many people were rushed to a nearby hospital while other passengers were said to have died immediately.



Reports say the some of the victims were going to church for the cross-over service at Iyana-Agbala and Egbeda Area of the capital city, another victim who was a pregnant woman, identified as Mrs. Funmilayo, on her way to visit her In-laws, a bus driver identified as ‘Orobo Baba Weather and many others. The affected cars that was crushed by the trailer was a Toyota Camry and Nissan Micra cars.


Confirming the development, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Adekunle Ajisebutu, puts the casualty figure at eleven, while another report obtained from the office of the Sector Commander of the FRSC, Mrs Cecilia Alao, indicated that 12 people died as a result of the incident and their corpses were deposited at the morgue of Oyo State Specialist Hospital, Adeoyo. It noted that aside from nine who died immediately at the scene, additional three persons died on Tuesday morning out of the 10 injured victims who were conveyed to Toun Specialist Hospital, Iwo road area for medical attention.

Governor of Lagos state, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, has failed to carry out the yearly tradition of presenting budgets for each new year at the end of the previous year.


Unlike in 2018 when he released it at the end of the 2017 and expired yesterday December 31, 2018. The workers in Lagos state are yet to hear from the State Governor concerning the 2019 budget and financial direction.

Presentation of budget before the end of the year had been the style of governance in Lagos in the last 10 years. Even after assuring Lagos residents that the budget will cater for unfinished projects, the State House of Assembly was yet to receive any letter of intention from the Governor on when he would present the budget.


Civil servants were stunned after close of work on December 31 without any news on the budget from the State Governor rather, the number one citizen spent the day inaugurating the youngest Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola and six other permanent secretaries.

Even if the budget is presented when the lawmakers resume later in the month, the 2019 appropriation bill may not be available for signing until February considering the number of days the State House of Assembly spent scrutinizing last year’s budget.

An Irish woman, Amanda Sparrow Large, reportedly fell in love with 300-year-old ghost of a Haitian pirate, Jack, and got married on a boat off the Irish coast while on international waters earlier in 2018.


The 46-year-old Amanda later split up with her ghost husband and now warns people to be careful when dabbling in spiritual matters.

A bride was called out on social media after news of her unrealistic dress code for her wedding guests went viral. And now she says she will hold a lie detector test at her wedding to find out who snitched on her.

The bride who sent out a dress code to all her wedding guests demanding that they turn up for her wedding in outfits that would cost guests about $1,000. Also, the dress codes, which is for a coordinated dance at their wedding, depended on the guest’s weight. Guests with different body weights had different dress codes.

Guests were also asked to bring a change of clothing for after the coordinated dance ends. And that the change of clothing has to be fancy.

News about the dress code requirements went viral online and the bride was slammed for it.Now, the bride has promised there will be consequences. She took to her Facebook to declare that she would be hosting a polygraph party to find out which of her guests leaked her dress code.She wrote:
