I'm a qualified lawyer, but I don't practice the profession at the moment, I do have plans of venturing into criminal law and working as a defence attorney somewhere in the nearest future... I'm a legal administrator instead and also a freelancer on my off days.

Defense attorneys are usually the ones perceived as evil while people mostly love prosecutors for bringing criminals to justice.

For me, I love a good argument and and I enjoy being in the courtroom a lot. I spent my teenage life reading all legalized thrillers I could lay my hands on and I would say that had a great influence on my career choice.

I studied for a different degree when I was in the church and I went for law after I left the church. I fell in love with law because I was obsessed with legal thrillers like John Grisham. Hehehhe

I left deeperlife long time ago sister Samantha. I am now churchless and totally devoid of religion so I am able to practice and defend my clients with any means I deemed possible.

I always encourage the females around me to have a career and always go out of the home. Work is not just for money but to socialize and make more friends.

I encourage my wife to attend parties with her friends, drink and have fun. She just returned from an international vacation alone.

MKO should have run out of the country then and would have lived to be the president on Abachas death.

I was mostly drinking during Christmas and I had to work all through the Christmas to meet year end deadlines. I don't eat a lot, just a few plates of follow rice and oven backed turkey.

Next Christmas will be better as I will be spending in Nigeria.

Writer Ken Saro Wiwa criticized military tyrant Abacha but then wound up on the gallows where he died after FIVE failed attempts to hang him. He died that horrible death along with nine other innocent men roped in by a military kangaroo court.

Afrobeat legend Fela Ransome Kuti succumbed to illness and died less than a year after his release from jail where he was tossed on trumped-up drug charges when in fact it was Fela's non-violent political views that landed him behind bars.

The list goes on, but then the questions arise : What good was accomplished as Nigeria's compensatory reward, from all the suffering in jail experienced by those brave men listed above along with others too many to mention?

None whatsoever.

We did are we were all hiding to do stuffs our parents would not approve.

We scaled fences to escape from retreat grounds to hi watch Cinema. We would to to hotels swimming pools to swim.

The biggest negative was the inferiority complex I had growing up and it took a long time to be able to date. It was not fun at all.

My parents have never been Christians before, but they supported me when I decided to become born again during my late teens, sometimes they'd even go to church with me... My father bought me my first bible.

They're free spirited people and have always allowed us their children to make our own decisions as long as it's good decisions... They're not the superstitious type.

Count yourself very lucky then. Mine were religious bigots who would even prefer religion over education.

We were forced to attend church services more than four times in a week.

Wake up 5am for morning devotions. We were locked in a campground all through the Christmas listening to boring sermons. It was not a good experience and I will never subject my kids to that.

Welcome to the fold. I have come to this realization long time ago when I was scammed by a Nigerian who was born and grew in the UK, never lived in Nigeria and the worst, she was a family friend. I list $4000 and since then, I do not trust our people again.

I just concluded a business dealing with a guy I had never seen. He called on a phone and requested for my service. Total cost was $2500 and he pleaded to pay $1500 upfront and the rest will be a monthly installments of $500.

Thos was a Somalian Muslim guy whom whom I have never met and he kept to his word and, paid me in full.

Them nor born me well to try the same with my fellow country men.
