This is so unprofessional and unethical going by the conduct of the CCB Chairmo, he ought to know better when you are provoked as a public officer of the law, what about restraint? What about calling security personnel to handle this? What about calling the attention of the plaza management?

This is an afterthought and he should be call to answer for this public show of shame.

I love recycling and upcycling too, the world needs us recycling advocates more than we need the world. Thank you Adejoke for this brilliant idea.

I’m into plastic and waste recycling from setting up the factories to linking you up with buyers and sellers of both primary and secondary plastic and metal wastes.

Check my post on recycling in my bio...

Education / Re: Five Productive Things Undergraduates Can Do As They Await Reopening Of Schools by sped1oro(m): 12:03pm On Aug 13, 2020
Aside the enumerated things listed above, the best productive and most profitable engagement for students, teachers, housewives, civil servants, traders, etc to do is engage in dropshipping business. You don’t really need any capital other than your internet enabled phone and a little megabyte of data.

Many close family of mine cash out big time during the lockdown period and the trend still continue. If you really want to do that from anywhere in Nigeria, just find a very genuine group of wholesalers or mini-importation platforms to join and you will be smiling to the Bank daily, weekly and monthly.

If you are interested in selling essential items that are fast moving and you don’t have ANY capital at all, feel free to ask for more details on 08034201291 or 08170327317

Crime / I Was Charmed By Cultists While Going To Church – Ilaro Poly SUG President by sped1oro(m): 10:44am On Feb 12, 2020
Update on the Student Union President caught in Cultist action.

The guy could be innocent and he could also be complicit in this matter. The reason for my position arose from similar scenario that happened during my time in Federal PolyIlaro, the Student Union President then who happens to be my close friend was equally way laid on a the road by the boys while coming to meet us at the Speaker's house. We got a hint that some boys were bushing up the President and when we got there they changed the story that the President was owing them some money.

Although, from reliable source, I was informed yesterday that the guy was to be handed over or had taken the leadership of the when he was caught.

The disciplinary panel will unravel the mystery behind his actions.

Hear his alibi on the matter......

saynotocultism:

He is an axe head ( RED REGALIA ) and he must be present in all initiation ceremonies. He is in charge of the most important initial process . He is Such a wasted fool....

I can bet you that the guy is gone already unless and except he has a strong government backing. There was a case of cult killing while I was still in Federal Poly Ilaro, some cult guys killed about 2 guys from the other side(Buccaneers ), one of the murdered guy was even my course mate, the Eiye guys were caught when escaping from town, all material evidence were seen on them including blood stains all over them. As a student Union leader, I was even asked to come to the Police station to identify if they were our students, even some newspapers carried the news with their pictures. I thought the government's was serious in prosecuting them but few weeks later, those guys were released and the school even admitted them back.

The issue of cultism is a Top to Bottom approach because the leaders are the ones gingering these boys, until a holistic approach is applied in addressing the issue, cultism and cult related menace will continue to ravage our society.

I had once proposed to the school authority and government plus the security agencies that to completely solve the problem of cultists in tertiary institutions, let us get them registered and they should sign undertakings to be held responsible for any atrocities caused by the group.

Olalan:
It's common knowledge that majority of the student union leaders of institutions in Nigeria belong to one form of society

This statement and opinion is never true in all cases. I was a very strong Student Union Leader in Federal Polytechnic Ilaro between 2002-2005. I have been a student Union Representative for my department from year 1,I participated in many Aluta and Anti-Cult activities, as much as we dreaded the boys, I never for once dreamt of joining any one of them.

Towards my final year, the cultists in Federal Poly Ilaro became something else and were killing each other as if there is no tomorrow, I have been ambushed on Few occasions by Cultists who sometimes believed I belong to the other faction, I knew all of them by their nomenclature and even when they sometimes have issues with authority, they will still come begging me and my colleagues to intercede for them.

This Student Union President is a big fool, unless he was a member before becoming the Student Union President, No cult group will actually force you to their initiation unless they know you are Weak, or you show passive interest or you nurture a plan to become terror in carrying out your Leadership activities.

Ultimately, this guy will be rusticated as Federal Poly Ilaro hates and abhor anything cultists soon after we left in 2005. Architect Aluko, the current Rector is a no nonsense man and this guy has already put a stain to the good image and brand the school has built in the last decade.

The cult group must have cajoled him into believing that they will protect him day and night, abeg all na wash as they can't even protect themselves, whenever these cultists are caught by the authority, you need to see how timid and cowardly they are and they will be forming iron man when they are not confronted with the law.

Investment / Re: Is 500k Enough To Open A Unisex Salon? by sped1oro(m): 3:48pm On Jan 31, 2020
i am following this thread keenly, i started this salon project since last year and i am ye to commission it. The difference is that, i am building the shops from ground as the location is in my dad's house, i have built 2 shops already, tiled with doors and windows. I have acquired almost all the tools required for the barbing business, however, i have spent almost N1M+ BUT i still require some funds for electrification and furnishing of the shops and this requires nothing less than 400k. But OP, with your 500k, you can decide to scale it down and still start the business on a low budget standard, as for me, i bought the consumables that will last for like 3 months already.
