You're not required to do so, but you can take the one you used to apply or print another one. It still doesn't matter

No you won't need a new cas

The programmer might be an employee of one of these software companies there at the airport to inspect the software in operation.
But really, being a programmer myself, I'm wondering what type of job a programmer could possibly have at an airport?

And how is life in Newcastle, their Electrical Power MSc course looks very appealing.

Some schools require you take an English exam. You can apply and negotiate with them (after you get a conditional offer) so you don't have to.

kindly help with the following issues. thanks in advance. I have a job offer in the uk. I have being given a COS but there are some mistakes in the COS as my home address was wrongly spelt. is this an issue? can I still use the COS?

Secondly I noticed that the visa fee and health surcharge is for 3years while the length of my COS is for a year. The UKBA website says I would be given a visa equivalent to the shorter of the two period in this case a year. isn't it overcharging especially for the health surcharge? is there a way I can pay for just one year health surcharge or ask for a refund if my visa is given for just a year?

If your company can reissue the COS with the correct address then do it, else just state the mistake in the additional section of the application form.
It's probably an error on their website to ask you to pay for 3 years, but yes, you should be able to ask for a refund thereafter

I submitted my application on the 30th of July. I have been asked to come and pick up but I have been nervous cause of a slight oversight. When I was registering for my TB test, I added my Uncle's address in the U.K instead of adding my school address, is this a problem?
Tho my school representative(agent) said it isn't. But I do think it is, plus my credibility interview I had was also a cold feet flop for me.

So do you guys think there should be any problem??

The address won't be a problem as it states just 'address in the UK'

There's really nothing you can do now about the interview. You just have to go and pick up your passport.

Please I'm confused o. the Tier 4 guidance notes states that the funds must be in your account for a minimum of 28 days before the date of your application. The date of your application is the day you make the payment for the visa application fee. I understand this to mean that you can only pay for the visa after the 28 day period.

I can remember we confirmed the changes about this a few months ago. The person in question sent UKBA an email, which they replied that the submission date is (now) the date of application as applicants could no longer pay at the visa centre

You only need 28 days statement. From experience, if you submit 6 months statement, they'll call you and ask you to print and scan a 30 day statement from the day they called you. And that is an extra 7 days waiting period

Never print more than 30 days statement, it gets confusing especially if the account is been used regularly

Am just saying from experience.
Last year August, I went to first bank to get a PTA, they refused and asked me to use my MasterCard, and that if I don't have, I should fill in the form right there and get it immediately.

It is a problem o. They would call you later and ask you to print 30 days statement from that day.
You should never print more than a month statement because it would be confusing

THE THINGS I learnt.

*Submitted application online on 20/07/15 (Salah public holiday) V.I VAC (church gate)
*Booked interview date on 21/07/15 (The next working day).
*Visa Received in Sheffield 22/07/15 via mail confirmation of receipt.
*Decision mail sent on Sunday 02/08/15 (which obviously isn't a working day so I assume decision was actually made on Friday 31/07/15)
*Total number of working days application lasted *9days*

Findings!!!
Ikeja fast visa processing to me is just a fluke.
if everyone thinks its fast and moves there just to get it fast V.I VAC thus becomes scanty with less application. would UK Sheffield abandon all applications just for Ikeja Centre ?? BIG NO. rather they only give priority to priority visa applications as stated on there web.

**My advice, pay for priority visa application if truly you want it faster rather than think that applying at Ikeja VAC would guarantee that cos it surely don't.

Reason: Teleperformance don't have any proven influence on visa application, submission or decision they are only a medium for applications and collection. "A legal UK VISA Agent"

For Example. I got mail of my visa being received at Sheffield from Sheffield Centre but teleperformance informed me after 24hours.
Decision mail was sent by teleperformance after I already received it from Sheffield UK 3days earlier. Thus, They only have information probably after the applicant had received such.

I bring Good news.
The CBN has relaxed its restrictions on issuance of PTA (Pocket Travel Allowance) hence you don't need to buy your foriegn currency from BDC at least for $4,000 equivalent.
However , don't bother using GTB as you would be disappointed as I was when I visited there overall head office in V.I Lagos.
I finally used FirstBank Marina Lagos.

REQUIREMENT: visa page of passport and flight ticket (return).. sometimes admission letter for tier4 visa.

WAKANOW.COM: They did a good job in placing my bookings tho the customer care finished my airtime before attending to my call. However press 2 which is for reservations rather than 7 which is enquiry (That way they know its biznes) or transferring to an agent just like calling 180 on MTN.

I saved #210,000 with my idea of getting to London first then to Aberdeen via sleeper train...Tho sleeper train is same cost with flight £80. but for my luggage.

Guy's I've been seeing a bit of confusion regarding the V.I submission centre, Appointments are not that difficult to get as I applied online and paid, as well as booked an appointment today (thursday) for submission tomorrow (friday) at the V.I submission centre. There were appointment windows throughout the day from morning till 3:00pm for tier 4 student visas.

I think the reason the VAC charge was introduced to the Ikeja centre is to evenly distribute the crowd between the two submission centres, because obviously more people live on the mainland and would be drawn to the Ikeja centre, which is relatively new.

And VI takes more time

I know Canada has a 2 years Visa for highly skilled workers in some specialised positions

Dormant current accounts accumulate interest, at least for firstbank, so it makes sense for charges to be applied
