Give an inch and an average woman will take 9. And will not even realize they are beginning to take you/things for granted.

If you are old enough to get married, you are old enough to deal with this.

So after killing the 'cultists', soldiers stripped them naked? Or are we supposed to believe they engaged the soldiers wearing only boxers? Nigeria! undecided

Excuse me? You don't want her arrested? Tell me, when did what you want become the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

This is how we allow sentiment to cloud our judgment and twist us into becoming the absymal disgrace of a nation we are today.

Shee broke the law, fair and square! She should face the music. It's that simple. All this sympathy is unwarranted.

Life is not always black and white. There are shades in between.
Culture / Re: Prince Eheneden Erediauwa Moves To Uzama Palace For Coronation Ritual (Pics) by stag: 12:47pm On Oct 12, 2016
It was an unfortunate day for commuters as the roads were blocked.

As much as I respect traditions and their rulers, it is unnecessary to block roads and ground activities in a town because crown prince is moving to palace. Ifjust moving to the palace was worth so much, a day should have been declared public holiday to save people the kind of stress I went through in Benin on Saturday. Not nice.

May his years be long, and his reign peaceful.

For me it depends on why you want to run Ubuntu in the first place. You just want to try it out or plan to work with it from the virtual environment? The former is okay but I wont advice the later.
IMHO the major con is that the performance is never the same compared to when it runs native. I will suggest you dual boot after testing on VM. Hope this helps.

Yes, I wanted to try it out working with it as a client machine in a virtual domain.
Instead I will just dual boot as you suggest. Thanks

I don't think that works on the basis that IP addresses ( I assume you are talking about your local IP address) are typically dynamically assigned by a DHCP server (which is typically your router) or are statically assigned by you. Now, most machines have only 1 IP address, unless if they have an IP address assigned to each NIC (Network Interface Card) on that particular device.

If I am interpreting what you are saying correctly, you are trying to run multiple instances of Firefox with different IP addresses....I know it is none of my business, but for what purpose?

Is this even possible? On same machine?

The new AMD processors have solve that problem. I reside in the north and surprising those who unfortunately got their motherboard fried are mostly those using Navidia Graphic card. I know of three of such cases, Mostly Acer Nvidia laptops. The backlash on AMD is just over hype. Just install the right drivers and update AMD catalyst then you are good to go, The drivers will handle all the problems. If the system get too hot it will automatically switch off.

True tho, the HP Tablet was Nvidia card. If they have truly improved on their technology, it'd still take some time for the scar that scare people to heal.

I have been using AMD for over a year now tho, Play games smoothly with dedicated memory of 1.5gb and 8GB Ram. I don't know what's with all these attack on AMD system. I plan to upgrade to an even latest version of AMD if i ever want to buy a laptop again. I don't do websites programming stuff anyway.

It is infamous for its inability to handle heat well. I had a TX2000 HP tablet in 2010 (AMD) that had me visiting computer village at least twice a month. Initially, I thought it was because I had VMWare installed with Linux RedHat O/S but soon realized because I always slept with music playing through the night, it heats up because the ventilation pores are covered by being placed on the bed or rug so the heat accumulates.

Basically, in cool environments, problems with AMD systems are minimal. Or you reside in colder regions in contrast to heat prone areas like Nigeria/Africa.
Although the graphics beat intel as a gamer would prefer. Goodluck with yours tho

Although I use HP, a Lenovo Thinkpad with 4gb RAM, 500 HDD, Core i5 minimum will do it for you. You can do 8gb RAM if you love speed like me

But avoid any laptop that's AMD motherboard. Goodluck with your search

Good morning Stag, I hope you had a good night. I am one of your followers here on Nairaland and a fan of your stories. there's a project I'm working on that I believe you can assist in assessing it considering the fact that you're a financial expert with rich job experience. please, kindly let me send you a PM, I'm not a scammer. Thanks in anticipation.

It will be a regret if my stories exaggerated my person out of proportions. I really hope not.

But then, assessing a project or any other ways I can help will be a pleasure, if I can.
Bro no need for grammar abeg, send the pm, I certainly know the monicker as far back as memory tells. I will only bill you one Orijin as consultation charge cheesy
