Onlytruth:

Believe me, these people don't know that some of us are waiting for an opportunity to have a formal war with them.
Aboki is also very angry at them and are really pushing them, but they would never even talk.
One of these days, they will provoke us in lagos.

Someone gave a slightly different version 40 years ago:

I started the struggle in July (1967) with only 120 rifles to defend the entire territory of the Eastern region…I am proud, and my officers are proud, that here in the East we possess the biggest army in black Africa. I am no longer speaking as an under-dog; I am speaking from a position of power.

Well, we all know h'ow it ended for the great warriors . . . Sadly, they did not learn anything then. History, they say, repeats itself

What will trap us in Lagos? Or rather WHO?
You will then see that your WHOLE YORUBALAND will become fair game.
We march Northwards towards your heartland. Just pray that aboki doesn't march southwards from Kwara axis. Then the only way for you will be HEAVEN. cool

You said the same thing in 1967. Look at how far it got you

You no dey learn. You know get shame? Brain is mightier than cheap talk, remember.

Be careful what you wish for . . . when we start, we wont stop until we reach 10 million.

bittyend: I'm out, yo!!

Igbo tribal warriors and PC marines have taken over the thread - attention seeking Biafran mofos. The day Igbos try anything in Lagos; the ghost of Biafra will wake up - and the ethnic cleansing that will follow, will be worse than the Hutus and Tustsis. Smart Igbos know that! I don't even know how you're going to win in Lagos - if the fight was in ondo, it would have been a different balls - Lagos is a different.

Baseless chest beating is their forte.

bittyend:

WTF are you on about? This has nothing to do with tribes - it's called aligning with people you share common interests with. And we're not NOT freaking WESTERNERS - I hate that phucking word, let the oyinbos take that ugly word. We're SOUTH WESTERNERS and part of the larger SOUTHERN, NIGERIA.

And no one is building a Southern Army, and Nigeria ain't breaking in my lifetime - we just need to align with people we share common interests with - and get what we need as a people out of the damn country. We've been dominated for too long by the almajiri clans - it's high time we in the South, used our numbers to get what we all want, period.

Desola is right here. No sane Lagosian or Yoruba would align with Ibos. Better to negotiate with Hausa than Ibos. Nothing in life would ever make me sit at a table with an Ibo man/woman. I dont think the Hausas killed the Yoruba guy out of sheer hatred, they simply did what we ( Yoruba people ) do every day, corporal punishment. In this case, it went really really awry. This is jungle justice at his worst and we are only angry because of the ethnicity of the people who carried out the "crime." Hausas and Yorubas have a long history of peaceful coexistence and respect for each other, unlike the Ibos. These things happen everyday, and stories like this happen on every street, including ours, because most of us abhor anti social behaviors. But it’s the other kind of story we see more of that get us agitated — the story about the guy whose anti-social behaviour got him killed in the hands of the 'other people.'

Anything, but the Hausa's who are your real problem. You are a coward, bruv. cry

Go back in time and see how we have dealt with them in Lagos. This is a one-off, and let me assure you, they will pay for it. We never forget and we never forgive. Every injustice must be avenged and this wont be an exception. We are a very thoughtful group of people. If we retaliate immediately, they will take the battle to the North where they have an army of r/etar/ded and jobless youth ready to unleash mayhem on every non-Hausa, including your folks. The only way to deal with them is to use State/Federal apparatus like the police and the RRS to wipe them off, and that is what is about to happen. No need for thoughtless gra gra. We will do it our way and we will do it THOUGHTFULLY.

I heard the next derivation sharing will touch Agric resource states like Ondo ( number 1 Cocoa Producer) extra % for their trouble

Hopefully the derivation sharing or whatever they call it is applied retroactively in todays dollars plus interest and inflation factored in.

Since I am a member of OPC from at this very moment I hope to get an invite to Asorock, my tuition from primary school paid for and a graduation/send forth/whatever it is called ceremony held in my honour.

I would have asked the ones in ife/ilesha to vacate so as to develop their homeland as well, but my best friend at uni some years ago is an ilesha born igbo who evens speaks more Yoruba than I can, the only home he knows is yorubaland or my igbo friend in the UK who speaks Akure dialect and claims he is from Ondo not Enugu.

Soon, there would be more igbo in egun badagry than yoruba. The writer was bold to speak his mind.

if they dont want to go back, we know what to do . . . starve their a/s/s out like we did some years back. Bunch of lazy mudafuuukers.

You sound like you would also fault Ibori's conviction in the UK since he was discharged and acquitted in a Nigerian court. It is the likes of you that make it okay to be corrupt in Nigeria. Shame shame shame

You sound like you would have agreed with the international community that Nelson Mandela was a terrorist. It is the likes of you that would sell Nigeria to the lowest bidder all in an attempt to make your slave masters happy. Shame! Shame!! Shame!!!
Politics / Re: Jonathan Sat Next To Alamasiegha At PDP Rally by strangerf: 3:16pm On Mar 19, 2012
I fail to see any thing wrong with GEJ mingling or sitting next to Alams at a PDP function. This is not GEJ inviting Alams to his home or birthday. This is a party/PDP function and I doubt GEJ has power over the sitting arrangement. And whatz up with Barack Blagojevich comparison? Two different issues. As far as Nigeria is concerned, Alams is not a criminal, he was never convicted in a Nigerian court. Whatever issue he has is between him and the UK. Blagojevich on the other hand was caught, tried, and prosecuted by his people and a guilty verdict rendered by a jury of his peers. Alams didn't have that luxury and as such it would be ridiculous for any one to label him a criminal with the intent to ostracize him from his political base.
