Romance / Re: Are U For Or Against Inter-tribal Marriage? by strangerf: 7:20am On Dec 16, 2010
Why the hate?

Intertribal marriage is fine between, say, Yoruba and Hausa, Edo and Yoruba, Fulani and Tiv, but with Ibos? Hell No.

First they have a very unique primitive culture that makes intertribal marriage with them unworkable.

I have nothing against Ibos. After travelling the breadth and lenght of Nigeria, I think I am in a very good position to express my mind as frank as possible

Ibos are also very angry and tribalistic people. It is either their way or nothing, and since marriage is based on mutual respect, trust and good communication, it beats my imagination how anyone could think that they could reason with a group of people who, over the years, have shown deep contempt fro people different from them

I cant force my views on anyone; one thing though, marry them at your own risk.

As they say in the SE ( about foreigners) : Come to Iboland, leave a dead woman!
Romance / Re: Are U For Or Against Inter-tribal Marriage? by strangerf: 6:49am On Dec 16, 2010
Intertribal marriage is bad

It is bound to fail, and I wouldnt advise anyone to do it; especially with Ibos, very backward and money making ritualistic people!

Jarus:

@isale-gan,
Last year's award for this section was not officially recognized.

But here is the thread for the summary of all the sectional awards in 2009: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-368639.0.html
Just click and see teh winners and the runners-up

My suspicion is that Suraj and Kobo are ding donging each other or may be Kobo already gave Suraj some badly needed green notes.

Anyway, it goes a long way to prove that the problem with Nigeria is Nigerians; one way or the other, we are all corrupt, as clearly shown by Jarus.

It reminds me of Jamb, when after scoring 265, I was denied admission, only for them to accept someone with 220, with deeper pocket than moi.

Ha,May God save us. I doubt it though. The country is beyond redemption, as clearly and brazenly shown by our own Surajudeen!
