The reason I'm asking is that I applied since 2020 and no decision yet, not even bvl.... other 2 parameters completed ... Background check in progress since March. ... if they'll eventually make a decision even if it takes another 2 years

Has there been any visa application that the ircc did not make a decision on at last no matter how long it has taken for processing.?

I think they’re working on it because I received the same message from them as well, then after some days I received ppr. So just wait before the ending of the month you should get your ppr

I sent them mail last 2 weeks , they replied that my application is still under review that they will make a decision soon but can't tell me that exact time or period...... ever since, I've not heard from them, yesterday, I sent them multiple mails , almost 20 mails, but no reply at all

I submitted an application December 8 2020 the application is still there until now without a decision.

Then last year may 2022 I submitted another one on the new portal but it was denied in September 2022.

This year February 2023 I submitted another one which was approved yesterday.

The 2020 Application, do you track it? What's the last update there.

"Final decision - May 5, 2023: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made"

Maybe we should learn some English together;

What does a Final Decision Mean?
Why in progress after making a final decision?
Is Canada truly an English Speaking Country?
Or the Error of Developers?
Do they speak more of Indian English as opposed to British English?

Instead of these guys to recruit more people from Nigeria, they said nooo; it's Indians that we want, Lool, the Indians in Canada need to step up their games.

Sincerely, if by today or tomorrow the PPR does not drop, i will exchange some theatrical words with IRCC afterwards.

Lol, bro. You are funny, but I think they know what they saying. Final Decision has already been made on your application on May 5.. which was the day they sent you BVL, am I right?... ppr is just to have your passport stamped.

As the name implies, WEBFORM. is to upload additional documents or update on your application that can add or modify the previous content in your application... while Mail is just to write to them about your application.

I think people have not been receiving BVL recently... they still have backlog of BVL waiting for PPR. I think after they've attended to them so a level , they'll start sending BVL again.

No , I have not received BVL. ... if I had received BvL I won't worry as much. I'll just go and relax knowing they will send PPR when they are ready.

I checked that always, as a matter of fact I checked yesterday. No visa Number no any stuff in the application.

I Applied for conference visa with my colleague through my company in 2020 as a group. We did biometric together, her application has been approved and passport stamped since over a month now, but I have not heard anything from then on my application...

Emmafe was correct Good Morning. I should have submitted at the Abuja VFS. I submitted my passport at Lagos VFS on Monday the 29th of May and I got the message below yesterday morning . My trip is supposed to be this Sunday and is sponsored by my organisation. Don't know what to do again. When I track it , it says it is under processing at the Canadian visa office.

Your application, tracking ID has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on Fri Jun 02 2023. This was the last mail I got.

My colleague submitted his passport in Abuja VFS as he's based in Abuja on Tuesday this week and got a message Thursday evening to pick up his passport which he picked up yesterday.

My advice for anyone if you want your passport back fast please submit at Abuja vfs.

Any idea what I can do as if I can't get it by Monday, I won't be able to go for the conference again.

I applied for visitor visa since 2020, no update yet. During the wait, my passport expired, I applied for renewal and I uploaded it through webform using Nairobi webform

Will I get a reply regarding the passport upload?
Cos I didn't get a reply just an Auto reply message. Or should I keep sending the webform till I get a reply.?
