Don't let us decieve ourselves, my opinion is that a large % of the EH would still need some form of training. So, why train/hire new EH, when we have EH in our backyard that are delft with the system already.

i tend to agree with u ..because back in d day he was known as a strong unionist ...permit me to say....this is one of the only windows those contract staffs would ever have to have a handful enter the system...former Gmd baru was against converting them just like that...he wanted them to pass thru d same window as others to prove they were better than the EH from outside....so it depends on who is on seat and some of the stakeholders ...not forgetting that a handful of this contract staff were brought in thru man know man...and a lot of top management staff...so in d end it still favours them more....

Just so you know, My source stated that Mr Mele Kyari is NOT in support of the EH recruitment.. he has complained about the need for it and is the one insisting it that the staff already In the system should apply for the positions and that the GTS can be used to fill up vacated spaces.. GMD is against the EH recruitment!!!

If that be the case, then you start questioning his integrity as a corrupt official or not? if he's not looking for a way to coerce the system all for himself, family and friends, Chei...For a corporation that belongs to the nation to create wealth for a every national, This is utterly preposterous. Although it is not the best for those who are EH and have invested so much in the recruitment, but in a way the GMD is right. No one will want a new bee even if he/she is experienced to come boss him.. Same thing happened at my place of work and we all were not happy, why not promote those who are there and fill up the higher cadre was our response... God will help us all.

It's very wrong brother. utterly wrong. Na the dictatorship wey we dey always talk about be that and dey against. Even me, I would want to support such an idea but it's very wrong cos you don't give equal Opportunity to others by dashing it to somebody inside.

If you know you're qualified why not apply for the position as well as an internal candidate? We give equal Opportunity in my organization as well...and for certain reasons most times the external do better than the internal candidate. Just saying it's very wrong.

An when you talk about Boss him. Nobody is coming to boss you around. that's a very shallow mindset. Leadership is all about understanding not bossing people around. The person is coming to play a role and fill a job description by doing their duties and not coming to boss pple around that is not his or her role to boss pple around. That's where alot of pple get it wrong. You lead by example and support, not boss pple around. Naija we have a long way to go when it comes to knowing between a leader and a boss.

Since NNPC said no one should pay or listen to anyone granting recruitment opportunities to you from the onset. Well, the truth of the matter is the end justifies the means . Let them grant closure to the whole process then we know what kind of an organization NNPC is, corrupt or not? To both the GT and EH pray for a successful closure that's all I can say.

Latest Info for GT: Just wait till this week ends.. If nothing happens this week, then Wake up each day from next week expecting it.. we are trying to close it before Friday next week so that the list can be tendered as an evidence in court to show that graduates across all ages up to 28yrs were selected for the Graduate Trainee role.. The court hearing would still hold BUT it's not hampering the release. Just expect it, can't say much.

Latest info for EH: There was a board meeting Last week Tuesday and it was deliberated that the EH should be scrapped. It was decided that the EH CADRE should be cancelled that they should open the positions to their staff: It will be an internal recruitment according to them... BUT it could still change..

This doesn't make any slightest of sense....They would also scrap GT na and also recruit internally na...Let us know NNPC is now wholly a corrupt organization. Talking about transparency and Can't stick to the principle they stock to b4 starting the recruitment in the 1st place and Let us know those supporting such rubbish are very corrupt personnel....When you hear this you just know some persons have got so much selfish interest in it. Guys, many eyes are on this NNPC recruitment ish o.

I went to print some documents somewhere close to my house and I saw someone typing a petition letter to NNPC. From the heading, It was about the Non-inclusion of People with disabilities (pwd) from the on-going recruitment. Apparently, they have a governing body which wrote for thier inclusion in march 2019 ( when NNPC just advertised). The man also cited some sections in FCC laws which are against discrimination of pwd.

I guess NNPC have many battles to face before this recruitment concludes.

Who said NNPC did not include disabled people as well? That he was not included, doesn't mean disabled were not included or does he know how many abled people was not called...That arguement lack substance and credibility. That boat will not sail

I somehow spoke to certain individuals in the know concerning this recruitment exercise, and I'm glad to affirm to you that the end is upon us. I was able to get the date on the APL, so I think Jarus predictions may as well have been deduced from that.
Brace for impact guys, unless they want to go through the rigours of reprinting APLs for the mere sake of being unpredictable, Friday 7th of February is the latest they can hold on to.
PS: Don't ever grow bigger than our association... Congrats in advance!

This speaks volumes. So what this means is by the end of this week everything should be ready. It means APL Is a go. 7th February is a go go. So by Next week monday Pple should be confirming their APL. This is the third and confirmed source after Jaru. Friday is on my mind. There is power if we stand together. on the 6th of Feb NNPC has a date with the house of reps on some issues. Then on the 7th & 8th of Feb there is going to be NNPC top mgt meeting decisions on staffing, refineries,transfers and revamping will be taken. So be it court case or no court case definitely this February things will be concluded.

So when is the Apl officially coming out now.Is Jaru's theory still holding this week?

Today is Thursday 30th and the last week of January and no news of APL being sent out to candidates.

This is 10months since the advert for the positions were advertised!

So 1st week of Feburary starts on Saturday so let's bear this in mind! So that Our mind will be at rest. Meanwhile get productive with your time, meet your sources for more info if any and think of innovative ideas to change this country as your present president and his pack of politicians have failed us rather than getting better its getting worse its obvious majority of them are very archaic in their thinking.
