As for why Yoruba guys flock to Igbo women, men love women who have some white genes in them. They like lightness etc. during the colonial era the Igbo genes was diluted by white men and so we are like 8 or 9 generations removed from that era and so in reality many Igbo women are what they call octaroons and nonaroons and septaroons meaning a slight admixture with white people.
