Politics / Re: Jonathan Lacked Will Power To Fight Corruption – Edwin Clark by sule5727: 9:34pm On Oct 07, 2015
kahal29:
… Hails Buhari’s anti-graft crusade

… Quits partisan politics

The Ijaw Leader, Chief Edwin Clark, on Wednesday said former president Goodluck Jonathan lacked the political will to fight corruption while in office.

He hailed President Muhammadu Buhari’s ongoing anti-corruption crusade.

The former federal commissioner for Information also announced his retirement from partisan politics.

Clark said he has quit the Peoples Democratic Party and will not join the ruling All Progressive Congress.

Despite announcing his retirement from politics, the elder statesman said he will continue to speak out against any form of injustice anywhere in the country.

Clark, who spoke while hosting the “Think Nigeria First Initiative” group, who visited him at his Asokoro Residence, Abuja, said Jonathan meant well for Nigeria but lacked political will to tackle corrupt politicians in the country.

He said, “I have joined the group of those who don’t belong to any political party anymore.

“I no longer belong to the PDP. I won’t go to the APC either, but I will continue to talk as an elder statesman and leader of this country. I have left politics. If anyone comes to me to say he’s running for any elective position in PDP or APC, I won’t support you. I’m not a member of the PDP anymore.

“I’m a true Nigerian. I have Muslims in my house even though I’m a Christian. Boko Haram is a problem of all of us and we must fight it together.”

He reiterated his support for Buhari’s quest to fight corruption and urged Nigerians to support him.

“It is not everything done by the opponent that is wrong. I will therefore support the policies that are for the good of the country because Nigeria belongs to all of us.”

“We are all to support him, particularly in his determination to eradicate corruption in Nigeria. For eight years Obasanjo legalised corruption. Yet, he’s the one talking about corruption. If your brother is arrested, did he give you money? If your sister was arrested for corruption, did she give you money?

“Nobody should distract Buhari from fighting corruption. People should stop talking about sectional or selective justice.

“Jonathan didn’t have the political will-power to fight corruption. He’s too a gentleman. Drivers of yesterday are living in palatial buildings now under his government. In advanced countries, when you are living above your means, people query you. That’s not so in Nigeria. Former governors and lawmakers are now asking for immunity.

“Jonathan meant well for this country, but the will power to fight corruption was not there.

“In an ideal society, when a man who earns 20,000 as his monthly salary and all of a sudden he acquire something that is worth N100,000, he should be questioned, but here in Nigeria, immunity has covered those that should be questioned.

“That is not the kind of country that we want. Being a gentleman is not enough to govern this country.”

I am limping between decisions, I need your piece of advice to buoy my wobbling senses. A well educated lady is in my radar, I like ladies that control grammar very well, in fact I am a sucker for such ladies. This my lady controls grammar so well and she is beautiful, a graduate.

Now, I also have a young lady that comes around, and I observed that they are both different in manners. She is not a graduate, she stopped at secondary school level due to finance problem.

When this not so schooled lady comes around she always notices disorganized things and would arrange them, would notice dirty floor and mop up,wash dirty dishes etc. She would not greet me without bending her left knee slightly to show respect. She is not as beautiful as the educated lady though.

The graduate lady do none of these things, all we do is just gist.

Lately the school cert lady makes me feel the warmth of a caring lady, I am beginning to notice her more.

I am a graduate with tastes, I don't know what I want again, I am confused, somebody advise.
u are a graduate with taste! U better marry d one that respect u if not ur house is on fire

Hello Nairalanders,

I am in a big mess at this point in my life. I have been suffering from low potency for months now. I don't get morning erection like i used to some 3 - 4 years back and beyond. It is causing me so much worry and pain that I had to call of engagement. I feel dead and dry on the inside. What do I do to stop this mess from messing and ruining my life. I don't want to use viagra to get it up because I am aware of the long term effects. I am still young and I am too young to be using viagra. I need serious help.

Politics / Re: Kogi APC Primaries.... Audu Declared Winner!! by sule5727: 9:18am On Aug 30, 2015
azimibraun:
It is obvious some people don't know yet they talk.. The curious case of Audu is no different from that of Buhari at the center. Firstly the failure of the PDP is the reason why people were forced to look for alternative in the APC. Kogi has the same failure of the PDP. The same way the APC at the national level wouldn't ordinarily like PMB to fly it's flag but we're left with no choice of who has the followership of the masses and can "dethrone an incumbent" president they settled aginst their wish for PMB. The story is the same in Kogi. Audu is not the party's desirable but at the moment, he is who the masses want and the party will not have to do to much selling of Audu to the people. They people know him more than they know the party APC. Audu is the necessary and the lesser evil becouse he has track record that still stands even after 16yrs before now. Kogi people need sympathy truly. Moving from the proudest people at a point in Nigeria with the most active governor and presentable governor( at par with the likes of Donald Duke) to not being mentioned at all. PDP reduced Kogites to laughing stock. See our governor not smart, not productive not presentable.

I have been in a serious relationship with this girl for two years now. i asked her where she was last nite when we were chatting but she didn't reply me.
She left whatsapp after reading the message and then she switched off her two phones. Efforts to called her was unproductive. Instantly, my instincts told me something was wrong somewhere. I called her girl friend if she was with her and she said 'no'.
finally, i went to her house to check if she was at home around 11:30 pm but to my greatest surprise, her room was locked up. I went home but couldn't sleep all through the nite. The whole drama was getting more strange cos i trust her very much and i couldn't comprehend the idea that she was sleeping in another guys room at that time.

This morning around 6:am, she messaged me on whatsapp that she was at home and that she is very sorry for not replying my message. I sprang up from the bed and went to her house immediately but on getting to her house, i found out that her room was still locked.

She later came home around 7:30 am and met me on her door post. We went inside the room and i asked her where she was coming from; after series of lies, she later opened up that she spent the nite at a friend's house(male) whom she visited the previous evening. She started crying that i should forgive her that nothing(s*x) happened between them during the nite.

I told her it was over between us and i warned her never to contact me again. Lo, on leaving the room, she brought out her kitchen knife that she was going to kill her self since i 've broke up wit her.. after some moment of dragging, i was able to resusciate the knife from her and i told her i wasn't leaving her any more.. This girl is very serious about killing her self if i leave her and i love her very much; but the thought of her sleeping in another man's house is driving me crazy. What should i do?
bros I know it so painful but dnt brig her back to u I'm talking from experience because I dnt think what happen now u can easily forget it! U can forgive but u cant forget it do to d kind of love u have for her,and even though u decide to go on with her any move she made u ll be suspecting her and they will not be peace in d house so think wise bro!!! My opinion sha!

I don't know what to do if I should get shortlisted for the job. Should I forget about it or go on with the interview even when I know that they will discover that I didn't meet up with one of their requirements. I am so confused
