Hello Peeps,

Kindly permit as this post may not be ideal for this room because there's a particular room for this purpose but there are no activities on that thread anymore.

For those that have contact with PTDF, could you please help inquire about Oil and Gas Field Training also? We haven't received any updates from them, unlike how Geosciences Peeps are being called.

Any response will be appreciated.

Thanks.

It seems as if PDP bigwigs have nominated their misguided oppressed supporters to wail on their behalf upon the demise of the likes of Metuh, Dokpesi and Co.

Does it occurs to the wailers that the Senate discovery of the said 10b is a product of the CHANGE we've preached?
This kind of willful error happened sporadically unchecked with the connivance of both the MDAs and the Senate during the previous administration without notice.
The senators knows fully well that any attempt to play along with the MDAs will backfire in the long run and Bubu will use them to shine.

You're a **** for calling people wailers.
If the CHANGE is real, what is pseudo N10B doing in the budget? So Bubu and his team could have looted it if not discovered.

The OP is simply using this innocent guy.

Imagine you smashed ur guy's fone on the ground, and all you could do is to feel pity for him and not sorry for your action.

Anyone defending this lady is as callous as she is.

The last line got me worried ".......but despite my love for him i still can't give him my extra phone, i have never done anything for him......"

The innocent guy deserves someone better.

Religion / APC Kicks Over Mbaka's Transfers by tafrica(m): 4:20pm On Jan 31, 2016
The All Progressive Congress on Sunday condemned the transfer of the founder of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, to a new parish by the Enugu Catholic Diocese.

Mbaka was moved from the Christ the King Parish, G.R.A, in Enugu metropolis, which he presided over as parish priest for over 20 years, to Our Lady Parish, in Emene, a suburb of the Coal City.

It was gathered that Mbaka, who was the parish priest-in-charge at the CKC Parish, G.R.A, will serve as an assistant parish priest in the new parish.

In a statement made available to journalists in Enugu, the APC South-East Caucus spokesman, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, said “it was wrong to punish the fearless priest for his prophecies which has proved to be from God”.

Okechukwu alleged that the transfer was influenced by outside forces.

The South-East APC spokesman expressed concerns over Mbaka’s safety, adding that his followers may find it difficult to get to Emene for programmes of the Adoration Ministry.

He said, “Whereas we accept that the transfer of priests is a routine exercise of the great Catholic Church, however we do not wholly accept a situation where the church allows external forces to influence transfer as the Mbaka’s case suggests.

“Otherwise, future liberation clergy who speak truth to power will be hamstrung to the detriment of the society.

“Our major concern is the security implications and the fate of his flocks who are mostly the downtrodden who may find it difficult to go to Emene for salvation and healing.

“We frown at anything which will put Fr. Mbaka in harms way or deny his flocks healing.”

The APC condemns all attacks on Mbaka, Okuchukwu said, noting that the party was in solidarity with the fiery priest.

Okechukwu further noted that Mbaka had been under stringent attack from Buhari’s opponents since he prophesied that Buhari would win the presidential election.

He accused the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo of playing a role in Mbaka’s travails.

“As a party we have watched with concern and trepidation the criticism, the attack, assault and unpleasant comments hurled against Fr. Mbaka since he providentially prophesied that President Buhari would win the 2015 elections.

“Even the Church did not spare him – he was called unprintable names, yet his prophecy came true.

“We are happy that Fr. Mbaka was vindicated.

“It must be pointed out that accusing fingers were pointed at the direction of some anti-Buhari elements like Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a group that didn’t want to hear the name of Buhari – even though Ohanaeze denied the allegation, doubts still persists.

“For we are still at a loss why a senior priest will be degraded to an assistant parish priest.

“We repeat that we are in solidarity with Fr. Mbaka and our major concern is the security of Fr. Mbaka and the suffering of his flocks mostly the poor who need his healing powers.

“We had thought that His Lordship Bishop Calistus Onaga could have retained him at the Adoration Ground, as the Bishop Emeritus Gbuji did because of security of his life and easy access by his flocks,” the APC chieftain added.

Our correspondent observed that thousands of Mbaka’s followers wept uncontrollably as they escorted him and about 30 lorry-loads of his belongings to the new parish.

Gud day pals, I got an invitation from Dangote oil refining comp, the subject of the mail reads INTERVIEW SCHEDULE but the content says "invited for personal discussion" . I submitted my c.v to a mail (general mail on d advert) wen the advert was on last year, after a mnth I was called to send in my appointment letter and pay slip. I was not called for any test. Could someone give me a guide and wat should be expected

I advise you go through the previous posts here. You may have to read thermodynamics, pump, heat exchanger, refining process and also go through your CV and study it, especially the part of your CV you think might have been related to this position which got them interested in inviting you.

BTW, did the invite come through Aug or Nov application? And also your discipline?

Many in your category, like me, are still expecting interview invite based on CV.

I hope other members will add one or two things that might be helpful to you.

Politics / Re: 40 Killed As Cameroonian Troops Chase Boko Haram Into Borno Village by tafrica(m): 1:30pm On Jan 27, 2016
What guy have cameroonian Soldiers got to invade our villages and kill innocent villagers? If my memory serves me right, this is not the first time such is happening.

Has Nigeria lost its pride in the fight against BH? Did Nigeria willingly allow Camerron to invade his land unrestricted? Recall how turkey brought down russia jets for crossing over to its air territory, here we have Cameroon moving to our villages to kill our people and our Army and President remain silent.

On another angle, if BH and Cameroonian Army cross over to our villages without any resistance from N'Army, does that mean BH could have been moving to Nigeria unchecked?

God save us!!!

Not only are you miscreants good wailers you are also devilish. See as people who claim to be honest be supporting this injustice. Be it committed by APC or PDP it is wrong and there are no other words to describe it as so.

Rochas Okorocha did not sack people because they are PDP but rather because he can not afford to pay them, here you have peoley who have worked hard and have been refused their pay. They should just take the government go court and also claim damages, it would be an easy win

Hey!!!

You got it all wrong trying to project Okorocha as angel while you're demonizing Dickson. Be objective enough to condemn both of them.

Dickson could also give that flimsy excuse you gave for Okorocha.

Trying to justify Okorocha also makes you look devilish.
Politics / Re: Dickson Sanctions 500 Workers For Supporting APC by tafrica(m): 4:38pm On Jan 26, 2016
I condemned this immediately I read the news in the morning. This is wrong in all manners. Civil servants deserve to associate with any political party of their choices. Why should Dickson punish them? Are they his political appointees?

This trend of punishing people or states that don't vote us is wrong, No thanks to Baba's vindictive 5% vs 97% statement, our president should have been the one to lead by example.

Same manner I condemned Buhari's 5% vs 97% statement, I condemn this wicked act and dictatorial act.

Let people peacefully make their political preferences without being hunted.

I hate APC, but it's just a pity PDP isn't acting like a reformed alternative.

Dickson, be benevolent in victory, pay workers' salaries!!!

This is bizarre infact Disastrous!!! End time things. It shouldn't come to this level that the government is threatening the citizen with life imprisonment. Will the government be responsible for the welfare of the family, laws like these are not to be imposed, it should have been a choice, it's like infringing on their fundamental human rights, maybe they don't have that there anyway.

God help us!!!

I'm only surprised seeing some NLers seriously saying it's a welcome developement and should be enacted in Nigeria.
Will Gove be responsible for my family upkeep? How will a sane Govt threaten me to marry 2 or more wives or I be jailed?

Many Nigerians have lost their self-worth.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Eritrea Government Made Polygamy Mandatory: Eritrea Trending On Twitter by tafrica(m): 12:54pm On Jan 26, 2016
............And if a man decides not to even marry at all? He will be kiiled?

This is wrong in all manners, Govt can only encourage men to take up two-wife option perhaps through special allowances/provisions. You can't force a man to marry two wives. What if he doesn't have the means to cater for two women?

These people are breeding poverty.

Dangote refinery isn't planning to buy crude from Nigeria. He is planning to buy from Gabon Ghana and Angola.

So your threats is already haunting you.

Hmmmmm...... you may be partly right or wrong. Though I believe he will probably need heavy oil which isn't Nigeria's type of oil for his petrochemical products. Heavy oil yields heavier products that light oil, hence why he may look outside Nigeria to get that. But I believe light oil will be sourced in Nigeria for as long as it's available to buy rather than looking elsewhere for what he can buy in Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Picture Of Obama Holding Bill Clinton's Suit Jacket In 2005 by tafrica(m): 7:14am On Jan 26, 2016
I don't know when Nigerians will learn to be analytical.

Why would Obama who was a senator be holding Clinton's suits, didn't he have body guards?

Obama was wearing black trousers, couldn't that black suits be his own?

Clinton wasn't wearing black trousers and even had short sleeves, who was likelier to own the suits between him and Obama?

As usual, Nigerian believe cheaply any propaganda they're fed with. I don't know why we are like this.

And which humility is there for a senator to hold president's suits? I won't pray our senators turn to such ass-lickers, they are also duely voted for as legislators. I can never do it as a Senator or Rep.

Enough of this ass-licking mentality.

This Govt is clueless and daft in approaches. Yes, I say NO to criminality and bombing but how in govt's rational mind threaten the local communities and Ijaw Leaders to be held responsible, are they security Agents?. If the Govt thinks staying in local communities is all needed to get the militants, let N'Army plant its intels among the local communities.

How many Northern Leaders or communities were threatened because of BokoHaram? So if OPC starts its wahala in southwest, I should be afraid that Buhari will come and bomb us all?

I'm afraid, Buhari and N'Army have no regards for human lives. I'm a yoruba man, but any attempt to attack or level local communities because of Militants is pure genocide.

From shiites killings to Biafra killings, another N'Delta killings loading. How many more Nigerians will be killed by this useless, clueless, blood-sucking and harmful Govt?

If Buhari continues like this, Nigeria may not last because all the regions will have their own share of his maiming and they'll fire back in due time.

If N'Army can't use their intelligence to locate Tompolo within Nigeria, they should rather be ashamed than to drag the communities into this issues.

Did any member of your 'claimed husband' partake?

Post your wedding pictures?

Overseas treatment for Zakzaky? So they harmed this man such that no Nigerian hospital could treat him to stabilize him or overseas treatment was just a deliberate attempt to further drain our FOREX while businesses and Nigerians suffer for scarce of dollars?

N'Army says it doesn't want a repeat of what complicated BokoHaram yet you killed thousands of unarmed Shiites, women and men, old and young, some were burnt and nursing the pains at the hospitals. Are these not enough to cause crisis? So Govt feels only when Zakzaky is dead that problems may arise or did Govt/N'Army get back its senses after perpetrating that evil act?

If APC and Buhari aren't afraid of anything Dasuki will disclose, we all want open trial, we don't mind if GEJ is implicated. All Yam looters must be jailed.

You all want close trial because you know Buhari and other APC CHANGE agents will be involved also, abi?

Your CHANGE is a fraud, a CHANGE that shields some looters because of friendship is an evil CHANGE.
