@DEDIKE.I didnt finish ur post cos i have no time to waste nonsense(cos 4 ur mind u don make sense b dat oo).Thank God u mentioned that the issue of this insecurity has never been recorded in history before.(thats a point against u). Why now? Secondly i did nt sat N5000 wil devalue our currency.i only talked about it.Talking of devaluation how are u saying that d naira has not weakened d more since ur man came in?Lastly u talked about refineries, Why do Nigerians like living on promises. This man has been promising u with bread and butter and yet has not provided anytin to show 4 it.Wake up from ur dreams man.I dont see dis jonathan giving ways for refineries to be built.GEJ is not a man of action.
Politics / Re: GEJ And His Government Have Failed by Taiw(m): 11:58am On Aug 25, 2012
what developments are u talking about?is this not d same country we all are in?when i said he has failed, i dont mean d same patching/construction of roads that u call roads.i'm talking about the economy, job creation,i'm talking about tackling corruption from the grassroot.how many of these corrupt governors/ ministers have gone to jail?i'm sure you witnessed OBJ rulership.how many of this probes have been implemented.IS this too much to ask?The callibre of people that could not steal money during OBJ time are stealing it massively.I dont know why Nigerians like u are so blind and gullible. This guys have sold away ur future and are giving u peanuts(u call developments) in return and u say dats all? Please go and check the amount of money they this government has borrowed within the past months. How will they pay back? The hugh debts OBJ managed to solve is what is resurfacing.
Politics / GEJ And His Government Have Failed by Taiw(m): 10:35am On Aug 25, 2012
Ever since Jonathan was sworn in,Nigeria has never seen peace. We all thought he was going to be better than Obansanjo and Abacha but we were wrong. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing.Below is a list of sum of the areas he has failed.
SECURITY:There has been a sharp increase in bombings and shootings since he resumed office.Thousands have lost their lives to the hands of Boko Haram and yet GEJ is so speechless about this.
2.Fuel Increase:suddenly he increased fuel price telling us to endure for a while n he promised this and that.Has he kept to his promises?NO.
3.Devaluation Of our Naira:SLS has introduced 5000Naira notes thereby turning 10N,20N to coins. The implication of this is gross Inflation.E.G A bikeman that charges N60 for a trip will now charge N100.Then i wonder how one will be able to change N5000 notes in a bus.Not possible
4.MASS UNEMPLOYMENT:The implication of this is there will be increase in car thefts, killings, rituals, kidnappings, prostitutions, armed robberies e.t.c The funniest thing is that the elites who think they are save from all this will be victims of this.cos man must chop.
5. CORRUPTION N EMBEZZLEMENT OF FUNDS in the government:we all know what is happening in d oil probes n other sectors. They want us to sacrifice yet they keep enjoying fat salaries, bribes, and illegal benefits.
6.EDUCATION IS COLLASPING
7.RE-INTRODUCTION OF TOLL GATES
8. Nigeria's debt increasing day by day.
d list goes on and on.From what i see, This government is out there to exploit her citizens thanks to ooga GEJ.
The next two years will be hell 4 nigerians.MAY GOD HELP US OO.

@mj Thats a good one but didnt state how you got your first job, and the stress involved. The reason i'm particular about the first job is, you go to a client trying to convince them without any previous works to show for. Then it becomes challenging and when you finally have it, you begin to wonder if you can deliver on the agreed time.

@ larion i take no offence in ur response. Its just the present situation of this country that have fraustrated majority to asking such questions.i wont blame them because Naija is crap but should we commit sucide?NO.I believe everyone is entitled to choose their career in life. sum do dis because of money like u said others do it cos of the passion u neva can tell.but should u fight them cos of what they want to do in life?NO. I believe what u should ave said is a way forward, a way out of dis mess we as individuals and as a nation find ourselves in and that brings me back to my question. what do u suggest?

its easy to make a first class in statistics than physics.staistics gives u a variety of opportunities in Nigeria.on a side note if u must go 4 these courses, u must be prepared to work the extreme(come out with a high G.P) to get a breakthrough in naija labour market.i was not told this during my time.Dont want u to take d same route

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dangote Truck Drivers With HND/BSc: No Respect For Nigerian Graduates by Taiw(m): 4:10pm On Aug 03, 2012
Telling someone to drive trucks on nigeria roads is like sending him to war.some come back alive, others wounded and some dead. That we need to put food on our table doesnt mean we should feed lions in the forest. Its highly risky.we are talking about putting someone's life on the line n idiots are comparing truck driving to cleaners, cab driving e.t.c. No sensible parents will approve of such. Its not all about the money.Health is wealth. If that stupid Dangote wants to help graduates then he should let us drive the company's official cars and not trucks for christ sake. i cant even turn the steering of a truck not to talk of changing the tires n fi.dose wey dey smoke igbo fit apply.me i wud rather go work as a cleanerthan doing this shit.same also goes to corpers that go to borno states n bokoharam states to serve.Money is not everything
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dangote Truck Drivers With HND/BSc: No Respect For Nigerian Graduates by Taiw(m): 5:57pm On Aug 02, 2012
StaggerI think you and others voicing the same
opinion as you are, should have their heads
examined.
A man has opted to drop the number of
unemployed youths by giving them gainful
employment. Yet some of you who have
never paid a kobo to anyone as salary in
your lives are talking babash.
What defines the kind of job a graduate
should have in today's economy where a
country like Spain whose banks can afford
to loan Real Madrid money to buy Cristiano
Ronaldo and Kaka have seen unemployment
rise to 25%?
There is dignity in labour, not in staying idle
and I can tell you that there are many
people who will take up that offer.
How much do banks pay HND holders?
N15,000 the last I checked. I am very sure
that a truck driver with Dangote will earn
MUCH MORE than this. And there will be
opportunities to get exposed to the
intricacies of the haulage part of the cement
business, which will come in very handy if
that same individual will be able to buy a
truck to start haulage biz later in life.
People should wake up and be realistic. I
have met graduates who are bus
conductors. I know a bus driver in PH who
has only one leg, and rather than go
begging like many people in his position, he
has taken it upon himself to make himself
useful to himself and his family.
You are all witnesses to the unbelievable
Kleptomania going on in GEJ's regime. I
know many government agencies where
people siphon off millions of Naira in out of
pocket expenses. Go to a typical
government agency in Abuja and see how
much is spent on purchase of rice during
Christmas season.
Many of you commenting need to come and
live and work in Abuja so you are exposed
and see for yourself how money is stolen in
this country on a daily basis. Some of you
do not even know the story behind
employment of coaches in NFF. Many of you
do not even know how much contractors
for some of these programs run by the
Presidency collect. You probably do not
even know how much money is spent on
provision of snacks for meetings in
government agencies.
This is money that can be used to provide
employment for Nigerian youths. Now
someone has taken it upon himself to
provide employment for graduates. Some
of these graduates you even defend cannot
even write a sentence in correct English. I
interview many of them in my business
weekly.
You guys need to wake up. I for one do not
like Dangote's monopolistic way of doing
business, but I will salute him on this one.
you are talking trash man. Is it not dis same Dangote that has forced many Pple out of business by bribing d govt to operate a monopolistic market?a drop-out asking a graduate to drive his trucks nt even cars?yes dere is dignity in labour but can u drive a truck knowing fully well d risk involved in nigerian trucks(one has to be strong n Alwz be high to do dat)?I'm nt sayin Pple Shldnt apply but I'm only shocked about d state of this country.don't even compare a truck driver in d u.s. With a truck driver here.if d person dies nw, is it not fools like u dat will say who send am?we all need to fight for our rights not accepting defeat.u can't even put such in ur cv as work experience cos it doesn't relate to any field at all in case u want to change jobs.
Jobs/Vacancies / Dangote Truck Drivers With HND/BSc: No Respect For Nigerian Graduates by Taiw(m): 12:04pm On Aug 02, 2012
After seeing the Dangote graduate driver recruitment advert, I said to myself that this man must be silly for disrespecting unemployed graduates in Nigeria. I cant imagine a Bsc or Hnd holder as a truck driver. Well I can only blame our leader for making him run a monopoly market and not providing jobs for our youths. After 4-5yrs in school, you den become a truck driver. Dangote is crazy. Nigeria is decaying gradually.
