kiddoiLL: I get it,you're upset but is there really a point twisting the story to defend the point you're making? in the several articles I read, it was one man that pinned him and the official statement claimed he initially resisted arrest, if any evidence is produced to prove otherwise, it will surely be welcomed so unless you were there... and your 15 minutes claim is that correct too? now it sounds like I'm defending some crazy policemen. meanwhile it's not as if due process against this cops have not begin |

kiddoiLL:I've cut out a large part to avoid heavy scrolling.. heck my comment might be as long as yours too. I feel you really.. reason why I avoid commenting in topics that will lead to someone brining up tribes..shit really annoys me too but I just remind myself not every problem needs to be addressed. if not I for don flood nairaland with comments. basically most fp post fall under this category. you already defined the NPF for exactly what it is. such people could also leak into other countries' police force |

this particular case the one that recently happened is obviously a superiority issue, they all are anyways.. now, this could be occupational (him thinking he's police and a civilian is disobeying him), racial or even just be a personal issue peculiar to that policeman. I personally I'm leaning towards it being occupational cos the man resisted arrest and the police man kept saying who's tough now.. if he was calling him racist names then... |
Celebrities / Re: Snoop Dogg Compares How Police Arrest White Murderers And Unarmed Black Men by talut(m): 6:25pm On May 28, 2020 |
kiddoiLL:of course you can't generalize the action of one racist driven police man or better still let's generalize the entire police department of that state to make an assumption.. remember the police is a pretty wide body, there will be bad people in it as well as good people, racist as well as non racist, corrupt folks as well as non corrupt folks. and from the case you mentioned above it obvious that the policeman obviously has issues |
Celebrities / Re: Snoop Dogg Compares How Police Arrest White Murderers And Unarmed Black Men by talut(m): 5:59pm On May 28, 2020 |
kiddoiLL:you don't need to get all personal.. I clearly understand this is a terrible tragedy. you also don't need to put words in my mind just to justify a point...of course, everyone who's going to be arrested should be arrested in a just manner. those cases being high profile ones ensures that these protocols are duly observed. I've done a fair bit of research looking into police brutality and the role racism might or might not be playing.truth is cases like this happen often, to the white man, to the black man any colored person in general . the media will always carry a juicy story.. and a more juicy one (a white cop brutalizes a black man to death is as controversial as it can get)will go farther as well spark discussions like this. police over here brutalize civilians everyday but when it happens over there to a black man, it is tagged a racism related case immediately. while this might actually be a case of racism, there is nothing to suggest it as such yet. the thing is I just won't be able to really explain well but I hope you see the point I'm trying to pass across ps: a police man in Nigeria brutalizing a citizen would be a police brutality case so why shouldn't this one be? is it because this one involves different people having different racial background? ps: I'm a black Nigerian (I don't think I have any non blacks in my family tree) like you probably are so you can't call me a racist can you? |
Celebrities / Re: Snoop Dogg Compares How Police Arrest White Murderers And Unarmed Black Men by talut(m): 5:14pm On May 28, 2020 |
of course those were high profile cases, protocols will be observed well. it would have been the same if they were black.. this is not necessarily a case of racism instead police brutality. 1 Like |

enirock:j which is why I have told you to look into nuclear fussion deeply at not just on the surface. do you think the numerous scientist and engineers working on this project don't recognize potential dangers or you just think they don't care? What China and the other countries who have tried aim to replicate might be what's is happening at the sun..but it isn't as substantial as what is actually happening at the sun. but at the end of the day, that's what science is all about, understanding naturally occurring phenomenons and implementing them into something that works for us. this is no different from how planes are modelled after birds like I said earlier, artificial sun is just a fancy name for a catchy headline adapted by mainstream media and just because something has potential dangers doesn't mean it should be written off. As a matter of fact all inventions made by man have potential dangers.. you should be grateful where technology has gotten too and how easy life is in general... Don't you think it's time to do away with all this backward thinking? 1 Like |
Foreign Affairs / Re: China Unveils Terrifying Dongfeng-41 Nuke That ‘can Strike US In 30 Minutes by talut(m): 12:38pm On Apr 29, 2020 |
enirock:this thing you claim China is trying to attain had been put into trial by different countries dated as far back as several decades. Now that you've taken a shallow look at what nuclear fusion is all about perhaps you should take a deeper look at the idea. Just because planes have high risk of death when they develop faults in motion doesn't mean they should be scrapped. h*ck, there are even accidents on roads. if you can't relate, let's take nuclear fission for a sample, another side of the same coin, just because there were nuclear meltdowns then didn't make them scrap it cos in the long run, it was the way to go. the so called temperature generated can be managed cos at the end of the day the amount of energy generated considering the very small amount of gas turned plasma undergoing this fussion is something that can be managed practically, this is even better than fission and fission is used to generate power today. I could go on and on but that will just make this write up unappealing to read. I'm not even surprised you're also tagging China as a country after world dominance just because they are also paramount in 6g development.(I'm not saying there isn't an endgame) even you will agree on the phrase "better me than others" right. while people like me are intrigued about the technological advancements of the world in general, other like you are not happy because either it's not under your country's name or you simply don't understand it well enough or maybe both. while the later is ok since we can't understand everything the former is just total bs. Again, just because something isn't totally safe doesn't mean it shouldn't be considered especially when the pros totally outweighs the cons. even day to day machines like DVD players pose theoretical danger to human health under some conditions. |

LarryBee1k:as disheartening as this is to read, I want to believe they had all this in contract before collecting money from the Chinese... if African governments aren't a corrupt bunch, I doubt they would be in this mess in the first place. if they repented from all this embezzlement when they decided to seek for loans whether or not there was a contract to highlight all what is happening now, they most probably won't be in this mess. I understand as an African man this doesn't look to be in my best interest but there is a reason why countries are named differently. they don't have to look out for each other interest especially when they don't have anything to gain and most expecially when they have to lose. Anyone looking at this, from a neutral point, some one who is neither an African or a Chinese will most definitely not be pointing the blaming fingers at China because at the end of the day they aren't the ones who put us in this situation in the first place.. if they chose to exploit it, that's on us not on them. This matter can be dated back to as far as 2 years ago. Don't you think it's too far fetched to tag it as "recent" |

enirock:exactly how I would expect from a cave man to think. I'm choosing to believe you're not exactly one. A shallow Google search would brief you that the "artificial sun" is more or less a fancy name. besides if you are going to be worried about nuclear warheads, shouldn't you be worried about those who might be potentially doing this in secret? ps: no offense meant in case you want to pick one from my comment 2 Likes |
