Phones / Re: The Oppo Thread (oppo Users: Oppof11pro, Oppok1, Oppo A5s.) by techboss1313: 12:11pm On Sep 11, 2019
Its not for everybody, when you get to analyze the phones side by side you will sure get to see that Oppo are doint their best. Their phones are nice to be honest, even their mid range phones.
kekilika:
They are not ready for the midrange section. 2G Ram for N44,000 or a Helio P22 device (A5s)for N55,000-69,000. I laugh in Spanish.
To gain entrance and take a sizable amount of the Nigerian mobile market, they have to work on the pricing and give incredible "mad" spec.

That A5s is a beast.
OEPHIUS:
Oppo recently released two smartphones, the Oppo A5s and Oppo A1k into the Nigerian market.

According to the company, both phones are cheaper than its debut Oppo F11 Pro and hopes to cater to users looking to own the brand at a cheaper cost.

The Oppo A5s has the most specifications of both devices launched, so here are pictures and details on this smartphone.

Specification

Android 8.1 Oreo
6.2 ” HD Water Drop Screen
Octa Core Processors
4GB RAM
64GB internal expandable memory
Dual SIM capability- Nano SIM cards and extra memory card slot
Dual Primary Camera(s) – 13 MP and f/2.2, 2 MP and f/2.4 both with Auto-Focus and flash.
8MP front-facing camera with flash
4,230mAh non-removable battery
4G LTE
Fingerprint Scanner
Face ID
Unboxing
The A5s is packed in a standard white cardboard and accessories are the regular.

Accessories
1 Oppo A5s
1 Charger head
1 USB cord
1 Ejector pin
2 User Guides
1 Plastic casing

Price
Official retail prices of the Oppo A5s in Nigeria are ₦53,900 for a 3GB+32GB variant and ₦69,900 for its 4GB+64GB counterpart.

First Impressions:

After a few uses, here are my quick impressions of this smartphone.

The A5s has a sleek build and an efficient grip that is synonymous with Oppo smartphones. Together with its plastic casing, the Oppo A5s clocks a surprising 194g on the scale considering a supersized battery.

This is lighter than the 222g of the Oppo F11 Pro that carries a 4,000 mAh battery. And makes the A5s easier to carry around. The battery is very powerful.
Phones / Re: Oppo A5s: Unboxing And First Impressions by techboss1313: 10:31am On Sep 05, 2019
The A5S is really amazing. It cant be the best phone from Oppo, but its worth the price any day.

You perfectly understand chipset
DesChyko:

The battery usage is pretty obvious. 730G transistors measure 8nm while G90T measures 12nm. It simply translates that the G90T will require more power and will heat up faster. Nothing else. You don't need wait for a device once you have the transistors size. The smaller, the faster and more efficient.

From that link it still said mediatek Helio G90T still beats snapdragon 730.

It's March 2018. And I clearly stated that here:

And still, those facts are still real till date. I'm looking for a thorough comparison between 730 (not Snapdragon's most powerful chipset) and G90T (Mediatek's most powerful chipset of recent) so you'ld see.

SMH for you. Wonder where you get your info from. Tecno and infinix wey dey threatened by oppo nor they talk, this are phones quite rated in Nigeria no they talk na leEco come they make noise.
maasoap:

Oppo is on different level but it has little to nothing market share in Nigeria. It's just being introduced into the Nigeria market. We've been placing orders for LeEco since early last year. That's fact.
Oppo is a leading brand worldwide but these two phones recently introduced into the Nigeria market are over priced when compared with their specs. N70,000 phone with SD 450 in almost year 2020! Haba!

Following the new mtk Helio upgrade there's no way you will say both processor do not achieve same output. You only judging base on the processor that have being up there. Maybe you can view the benchmark again. Between view this:
https://www.smartprix.com/bytes/mediatek-helio-p70-vs-qualcomm-660-soc-benchmark-test-which-one-is-better/

DevilhimseIf:
my guy there's no way you can compare a flagship processor to a midrange processor

the only processor that can rival snapdragon head to head is Samsung exynos

Go and study both benchmark test

mtk is trying but you can only compare to snapdragon mid range processors

mind you snapdragon has both flagship and midrange processors

Baba talk with prove na. Oppo phone that has the highest market share than LeEco. Oppo is on a diff level. Forget wetin you dey yan undecided
maasoap:

Of course, it wasn't made in 2019, 2018 or 2017 because it is operating on OS 6.0 as at last year when I bought it, with updates no longer available for the phone. But if you are talking about whether it is brand new or not, it is brand new and not fairly used. And as long as the phone speed and quality beat that of many brands out there at such a ridiculous price, who cares?

BTW: what is Oppo? It's strange in Nigeria market. The users of LeEco in Nigeria as at today far surpassed the number of Oppo users.
