Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos made waves this week when he briefly unseated Bill Gates as the wealthiest person in the world, according to Bloomberg's tracker. The two U.S. tech titans are jockeying for the lead at around $90 billion each. But according to Hermitage Capital Management CEO Bill Browder, they’re nothing compared to Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose personal fortune Browder “believes” to be $200 billion.







Browder, who made the claim before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday , is one of the best authorities on Putin's business dealings. Browder was a major investor in Russia during the chaotic 1990s, when, according to Newsweek , he took stakes in former state-run enterprises such as Gazprom. During the same period, Browder cooperated with Putin in anticorruption efforts, but eventually found himself targeted by Putin . That conflict eventually led to the jailing and death of Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky, and in turn to the Magnitsky Act sanctions against certain Russian oligarchs by the U.S.

According to Browder’s testimony, Putin amassed his vast wealth by using political clout to coerce Russians who made similar investments to simply hand over large chunks of their holdings to him. Browder further claims Putin has a personal interest in reversing the Magnitsky Act, since many of those impacted by it “hold [Putin’s] money for him.” According to Browder, that includes some in U.S. institutions that is frozen or at risk of seizure.







One Putin effort to push back against the Magnitsky Act was the 2012 imposition of restrictions on Russian adoptions to the U.S. Those adoptions —and, by extension, the Magnitsky sanctions—were the reported topic of various conversations between Russian representatives and the Trump administration. If Browder’s claims are accurate, then, Russia’s interference in the U.S. election may have had as much to do with defending Vladimir Putin’s vast personal wealth as with advancing Russian state interests.

Just today I was on my way to the bank, I was in front of the bank untill my phone vibrated, so I had to check it before entering the bank. Just to cut the story short it was an hot-spot notification "GLORY NETWORKS" , I forgot to switch off my Wi-Fi before then. So I tried connecting to the Wi-Fi network, but to my surprise there was no password so I had free data to do alot of things, I just sat down and I made sure to upgrade my apps worth over 350megabyte. And i even downloaded the Game of thrones Episode 2.

Iphone 8 Facing Production Issues






The new iPhone models are facing a potential production delay, a report by the Economic Daily News has revealed. According to the report, production of the so-called “iPhone 8” could be delayed. The “S” cycle upgrades for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus could also be facing production delays.

Allegedly, the main manufacturing plants for Apple’s iPhone have yet to reach the mass production stage. Should that be the case, Apple’s OLED iPhone will ship only in small volumes this year.

According to the report, Foxconn Electronics and Pegatron, the two main ODMs for Apple’s iPhone have yet to reach mass production rates. The reason behind that could be the fact that Apple is still facing fingerprint sensor issues with the iPhone 8.

Another reason behind the alleged production delay for iPhone 8 could be the challenge of implementing the upcoming phone’s customized OLED panel. Continued reports of fingerprint sensor issues could mean that Apple may have to opt for a facial-recognition-only solution.






The Facial Recognition Route

Without a sensor, key features like Apple Pay, and facial recognition is much more cumbersome. Microsoft is working on similar tech under OLED screens, as well as Qualcomm and Vivo.

However, that technology won’t hit the shelves until next year, so Apple would be early if it can resolve those issues in time. Whatever the case, it’s going to be a close call for the iPhone retailer.

Additionally, Apple is allegedly facing a problem with iPhone 8’s wireless charger. According to reports, Apple may delay the wireless charger for the new iPhone and therefore sell it separately.

We’re anticipating for Samsung to announce the Galaxy Note 8 as promised and we’re almost certain that it will be revealed in August.
