Glo na slow poison
This might be traced also to your phone. Just as how MTN TIMWE GAME always feast on my #100 weekly.

The solution prescribed to me was to uninstall the game. But there was no such game on d phone, and the phone was china-made, where apps can't be uninstalled.

I had to change d phone to save my airtime!

We thought 256GB was the highest MicroSD capacity, but Today Western Digital proved us wrong with its newly introduced 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card. This is actually the largest-capacity microSD card available on the market.

With this new SanDisk 400 gigabytes MicroSD card, users will be able to transfer files upto speed of 100MB/s and goes as SDXC UHS-I class of a card. This memory card is rated as App Performance Class A1, which signifies that the card can run apps as well.

Hi Techpaded, so sorry for the inconvenience. The service can be deactivated when you uninstall the pre-installed apps from your device. Regards

Thanks for replying! But the SIM is in a China phone where pre-installed apps can't be deleted. Besides, the only games on the phone are Sokoban & Snake games. What do I do?

Phones / 9mobile's Poor Network Is Gradually Being Resolved In Some Areas by Techpaded(f): 10:36am On Aug 24, 2017
9Mobiles' poor network condition stretched to different part of the country, denying users access to make calls, send SMS, browse or even use any USSD command. Infact, some subscribers thought their lines have been barred because no network signal showed on their phone.

Now, it seems 9Mobile's network is gradually been restored, as some users testified to it, and the brand, also taking to their social media pages to apologize and drop the good news that stable services are back in some areas. Here's the statement in quote:
"We sincerely apologize for the recent network downtime you experienced. Services are back up in some areas and we are working fervently to restore services in all locations. #9mobileCares"

Though, the issues might have caused users to miss important calls, messages or appointments, we hope to get compensation from the telco (maybe in form of airtime or data). Abi na lie ?

Phones / Telecoms Beg NCC To Block Whatsapp, Skype, IMO And Other OTT Services by Techpaded(f): 12:53pm On Aug 22, 2017
Nowadays, only few people make international calls due to the presence of Over-the-top (OTT) plays like Whatsapp, Skype, Wechat, Facebook, Viber and IMO. This caused a global revenue loss of $386 billion, from 2012 to 2018 for the telecoms operators. Hence, MTN, Airtel, GLO and 9Mobile are lamenting, urging the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to intervene and stop OTT services .

In opposition to this, I suggest that OTT plays should be left alone, because we users buy data from the Telcos to access services like WhatsApp, Skype, etc. While they are lamenting losses from voice/video calls, they are, on the other hand, jubilating from excess gains they make from data.

Seeing how the economy recession is heating in the country, Nigeria's number one online shopping mall, Jumia has made it possible to order & buy refurbished items, mostly guaranteed reconditioned certified Apple devices, which is more cheaper.

Phone/Internet Market / Jumia Now Sells Certified Refurbished Apple Iphones As Cheap As N44,400 by Techpaded(f): 8:22pm On Aug 13, 2017
Jumia Refurbished phones are here to offer 'Certified Refurbished' iOS devices at cheaper price, shipped internationally. It is also important we clear the air concerning Fairly used phones and Refurbished phones , because they're not the same.

..... So take note that refurbished phones are not new, in the same vein, it doesn't mean it has been used much. They undergo brands’ thorough-revamping process prior to being offered for sale.

This is kind of a sad news to all subscribers who has prepared for the D-day, 11th of August, to enjoy Glo free data day. It is disheartening to announce that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has stopped the grand masters of data from proceeding with the offer.
