I suspect that this is a bug that can be fixed.
How long have you used it for and do you use another charger apart from the official one one it?
If you are willing, you can obtain a new battery as the other might be faulty as well.

We are sorry about this.
The adaptive brightness features mostly on our mid range devices.
The W1 is an affordable budget phone so such feature might not be there.
You may control the brightness manually.

I'm sharing this simple tip because many people don't know about it. Are you the type that has many applications with similar functions? Do you love to choose the one you want among these applications whenever you need that particular function?

Here is an example: you have 3 different launchers on your phone, and love the freedom to choose whichever one you want among them when you tap the home button. By mistake, you made one of these launchers your default launcher (i.e. by clicking "always" instead of "just once". This step should be applied if you do not wish to reset all your apps preferences.

The following are the simple steps​ to restore that freedom to choose among different applications that serve a similar purpose:

(1) Go to Settings => Applications (Manager) => Locate the app you just made default, or that which has always been on Default.

(2) Click on the app, scroll down on its information and you will see "Clear defaults".

Priority interruptions
Lollipop introduced the concept of “priority notifications”: These notifications rise to the top of the notifications screen, and you’ll continue to receive auditory or vibrate alerts for these notifications even when you have all other notifications muted.

If you’d like to be alerted only to these sorts of notifications, tap Interruptions. From this screen, you can choose to limit the sorts of notifications you’ll be alerted to, and whether you want to set some quiet hours.

First, set your priority preferences by tapping “When calls and notifications arrive.” A menu pops open with three options:
Always interrupt allows all notifications through—everything from calls to texts to app updates
Allow only priority interruptions will only alert you of certain kinds of notifications—calls, messages, events, and reminders. You can pick and choose which of these you want to be alerted to.

Don’t interrupt turns off all alerts for all notifications.

For the sake of this example, we want to limit alerts to only priority interruptions, so choose “Allow only priority interruptions” from the menu. Once you do that, it’s time to choose which kinds of notifications you want to give priority to. Toggle the Events and reminders, Calls, and Messages sliders accordingly, based on your preferences. For this example, I’m switching all three to the “on” position so all three kinds of notifications receive priority.

Priority interruptions lets you continue to receive audio alerts for certain kinds of notifications while silencing others.

If you decide to allow calls and messages through as priority interruptions, tapCalls/Messages from, and choose whether you want to receive notifications for calls from anyone, from starred contacts only, or from all your contacts but nobody else (“Contacts only”).

First of all, I want to express my admiration and appreciation for the progress tecno products have made over the years. Keep up the good work.

Now. I just bought a tecno l9 plus and I observed that the sound volume of phone calls is low even at highest switchable volume. I have to press the phone very very close to my ears to hear the other caller. Infact I can't hear him/her very well in a noisy place. This is in contrast to my former phone tecno y4 which has very good, clear and loud call sound. What could be wrong? Is there anything that can be done? Thanks
