Thanks. I didn't see where to download application summary. But the acknowledgement card still summarises it. One more thing, is one supposed to submit the forms downloaded at the zonal enlistment offices or one will wait till after shortlisting?

Either way you're right....this guys are not predictable. Just make sure you have all your forms signed and ready b4 the zonal enlistment.

Is the acknowledgement card your application summary? I couldn't print out application summary as I used a phone. How can I retrieve it? I've tried logging in with my app ID but only showing downloads for the consent forms. Thanks.

You can only download your application summary card/page before you finally SUBMIT and SAVE all your information(s) while registering, so after submitting you'll only be redirected to where you can download other consent forms (the app summary card/page looks more like or contain all the info on your acknowledgment card)...a lot of people forgot to do that last year and it wasn't a problem...hopefully it won't be an issue this time around.

Hello Everyone,

The LG Attestation form issue has been resolved. I just logged in to re-download a friends own.

However, on the below general requirements,

Can someone explain more on "Letter of Attestation of Good Character." Is there a special form for it? or is the person attesting for you to be the one to draft the letter?

The person Attesting for you on your LG Attestation form, will be the one to give you the letter of good character.

My observation....after going through the attestation form for serving military personnel, am thinking the whole thing wasn't a mistake after all.
Last year the attesting officer (LG chairman, military officer, secondary school principal etc) was asked to attach a passport signed and stamped , as well as a letter of good character(letter headed) attached to the attestation form.
Now lets assume the attesting officer would just put down his/her name and then fill out the recommendation space for the whole letter to serve as the letter of good character (leaving out other blank spaces on the form that are not relevant to the attesting officer, e.g current unit, date of enlistment and rank.
My advice is, we download that copy, so we are not caught unaware.
Or what do you guys think? Just an observation tho. Anybody is welcome to correct me on this.

But Teddy what I don't get is all the shut up and move on in your reply. If she said you were throwing shades, you could have simply said ' if I wanted to throw shades I would do it directly to the person i was referring to' and that ends it, instead of taking an aggressive approach. And from what I read her statement didn't imply she meant you were talking to her. Instead of all the insults flying which is not healthy, you guys should relax.

Okay

yrmybank:

The point Macmilla is making is that NAF does not have to be so strict on the 3.2km run. And the time in which we're required to complete the run is a bit stringent. Yes we're soldiers first but we're going to be employed within administrative capacities anyway so we basically don't have to run like Olympians. Plus cos we're fit to get in don't mean we'll remain fit when we're in. There are so many fat and unfit military personnels out there. Some I saw even at the zonal enlistment centers; looking at them, you'll bet they can't run 3.2km to save their lives, yet there're soldiers with NAF.

At this age?...Oga you still need to be fit when you get in....how you gon survive running almost everyday during the six months training....if you guys are complaining about running 3.2km in 18mins(inside 1 particular day)....they dint ask you to run for a whole day or several hours. Weda Doctor or no doctor...it all boils down to how determined, interest and love you guys have for the job...otherwise that 3.2 won't be causing somuch arguement here...y'all should just channel doz energy you using to drop somch post here to start working out already. Sorry to say this....na una type go join naf finish begin punish civilian wit 3.2km in 5mins.
Sorry guys mak una start work out...nobody dies.
