Hello Nairaland Family,

I read a post about a newly wed(not up to a year) wife seeking opinions, if her husband's sister of 16years can live with them.

From people's advise to her, they all told her not to allow it.

As a lady I was saddened by this, assuming the young lady was her sis would she have said no.

Ladies of nowadays, just want me and my family alone, because they want bonding or whatsoever.

I told her, it all depends on how her husband portray her to his family. I have an uncle, the wife won't allow his family to visit but go to their house, you will see more than 2 of her family living with them.

We should try and change our mindset, when growing up, some us have lived with one family or the other when growing up.



What's your opinion on this, will you allow or not?
