I didn’t set any trap, I’ve long known & said Kovacic is shaky defense wise even if I didn’t put it my previous comments of cm. Veratti doesn’t lack position awareness like him, you see why pairing up Kante kova always shaky.

Is Marco Verratti a useless player? Let's start from there before i reach other great CMs.

Is Veratti a bench player not trusted enough by the coach to start him routinely in a wining team of the league, UCL or World Cup like Kovacic?

Asides from being infamous in the final third, World class coaches knows when you entrust your midfield to him you get sodomized by Bayern or any top team.

How do we have high quality chances when the immediate instinct of midfield players like Kovacic is to pass back.

Here Giroud killed the counter with his heavy pass, but kova should’ve looked forward and give Ziyech in a 1v1 but as usual backward pass to the rescue.
