Well I believe it’s a skill that needs to be learnt at early player career with perpetual training.

For instance, a 27yo player like Kovacic can’t significantly improve his final third passes or shoots anymore. I mean what are the chances, after playing for years & not improving his shots under Mancini, Zidane, Sarri & Lampard? Even average players like Barkley has been shooting well since 20.

So sometimes imo, it’s a lost cause

Our midfield was a little open with the runs & I commented “Our midfield open”. A smart coach like Tuchel noticed this too & brought in Kante to partner Jorginho & Kovacic, something he has never done before.

That tells you something.

Too early for me, Spurs aren’t exploiting the midfield gap as they do. We’ve seen the combo in the past as mediocre, TT setup & tactics is really working well thus far.
