I am done.

TheGoodJoe:

That is why I said the nff needs to clarify the concrete steps taking to ensure a smooth arrival of the Libyan players at Uyo.

To make it easy, did they make any financial assistance to help convey them from Port Harcourt to Uyo.

Okay. I am done. So the Libyans are not lying but it is the NFF that are lying. You spotted the extent of the lies the Libyans concocted just hours back. You saw the extent to which these people are ready to take to paint a false picture.

TheGoodJoe:
This should be made viral. The video defence from Libya contained images from different sources. These people are evil.

Now you are saying something else. Abeg. I am done.

TheGoodJoe:

The NFF man said they requested for buses. Then they are telling us they rejected buses. There are holes in his Story. The NFF protocol team must clarify this.

3hrs is enough to get buses from UYO to Port Harcourt. They won't even need the Rivers Ministry of Sport for any support with three hours. So the 1hr info. was a lie from the NFF.

TheGoodJoe, you are funny. Wetin ORIGINALLY concern Rivers state ministry with the Libyans? Are they the ones expected to host the Libyans or the NFF?

Meanwhile this NFF clearly stated that they pressed some buttons to ensure they secured alternatives to get Libya out of PH so that they can reconnect with the original protocol welcome party in UYO.

This means they obviously made contacts with the relevant bodies on ground in Rivers to transport Libya.

TheGoodJoe:

Why not reach out to Rivers State Ministries to help sort things out than leaving them stranded at the airport?

I don't buy that rejecting their bus plans. It is simply not true. NFF needs to make that voice recording public if it actually exists.

I take it as the North African antics are lost on you. He said before they landed that they said they should get buses or whatever means they needed to move coz they are ready to leave PH once cleared.

If the NFF secured them a flight permit for their plane from PH to Uyo which was even outside the original protocol? Why would they reject it?? You expected them to pay. Isn't that ridiculous? Obviously the Libyans expected such too.

Then the NFF now resigned to buses and the Libyans played hard ball. So what is it again?

TheGoodJoe:

This even exposes lapses on the NFF. These guys requested for buses. He said it himself and they ended up hiring buses. Is this not our of order?

Speaking of funny, is it funnier than the fake pictures of them sleeping on the ground that you found out yourself to be fake?

TheGoodJoe:

I find trooper vans front and back funny. Better machine guns and those guys will see problem.

This is not cry baby issue but lapses from our end.

What other means of transport is available except road and air between PH and Uyo? Is train available? Is Witchcraft broom available?

The NFF gave them Air, they rejected it. Gave them road and they wanted it their own way. Who abandoned who?

TheGoodJoe, using words like the bolded "...why those guys were abandoned" shows you buy the lies of the Libyans. Well done on trying to stand out.

TheGoodJoe:

In Port Harcourt we have witnessed bullion van attack with patrol vehicles attacked too. So that security talk is just funny.

I repeat, NFF needs to clarify why those guys were abandoned and had to charter bus. Why no alternative arrangement was made?

Lapses caused because the visiting team refused to follow the original protocol to land in Uyo. It is on them. Not the NFF.

Listen again to Ademola Olajire. The Libyans didn't bloody communicate.

We are lucky nothing happened? TheGoodJoe, they had security escorts provided by the NFF in front and behind. PH to Uyo is 4hrs journey I believe. So again, the Libyans are story twisters, crybabies and liars.

They came into Nigeria with the sole aim of painting a lie so as to find any excuse at all to do the nonsense they executed yesterday to our darling Super Eagles.

I believe the NFF communications dept cleared the air enough. More information can be sought when the messages and VNs the NFF said they have as regards the communications they had with the Libyans both before they touched down and after they touched down will throw more light on what specific steps they took but from the whole picture so far painted, the NFF didn't refuse to welcome the Libyans. The Libyans wanted to do things their own way with malicious intent of painting us as bad hosts.

TheGoodJoe:

NFF needs to clarify the actions they took to remedy the situation. At least, reception and clearance.

I repeat, we are lucky nothing happened to them, if not this story will not fly.

These guys were coming to play aatch that would be viewed by millions around the world and the NFF acted in such negligent manner because they did not abide by travel plans.

I actually buy it. These North Africans have been at this nonsense even before I was born. My late dad told me same back in the days of Enugu Rangers vs Mehalla of Egypt. So I buy it wholeheartedly.

The Libyans failed to state specifically that they were going to land in PH from the moment the communications Dept of the NFF reached out to them. They never mentioned PH and said they will get back to the NFF when they are about to leave. So how is it the NFF's fault that they didn't follow the original plan to land in UYO??

TheGoodJoe:

I don't buy that narrative from the NFF. Hide travel plans as in how? They know Nigeria more than us?

So what about receiving them? So they could not communicate with the Rivers State Ministry of Sports to help on such Super short notice?

The story is not complete and needs clarification.

Stranded at PH out of their own doing.

When they touched PH, they had to be searched and cleared. Normal airport protocol so if they count that as part of the delay, then they are even more insane.

According to the NFF, they rallied round knowing they had 3hrs before the Libyans touched down in PH and probably another hour after they must have been cleared by the airport officials. They said they found a charter plane plan for them.

When that was rejected, the NFF brought up the bus plan. But the Libyans stubbornly turned it down. Obviously out of annoyance for the NFF nor covering the cost of the charter which is not even supposed to be up for discussion.

TheGoodJoe:

You are just regurgitating what we already know.

The point is that the Libyans were stranded at UYO. What contingency plans were made by the NFF to salvage the situation?

And about conveying them in our country to the venue. Abeg, when we land in another country's land and it is in another City maybe, is it not on us to cater for our own flight plan into the actual host city? The host FA will only provide a travel guide protocols so we don't miss our way and we must follow it or we end up getting stranded.

Now the Libyans didn't adhere to ours and didn't even communicate at the time they were coming. They alerted us on super short notice 1hr after they were airborne and that was 3hrs before they touched down in PH. Such ridiculous short notice.

The Libyans hid their travel plans from the NFF. Refused to fly to Uyo directly but chose PH as a way of "tactically trying to confuse the opposing FA" but it backfired.

TheGoodJoe:

This is not about coming into the country but conveying them in our country to the venue. They were stranded at Port Harcourt. We need proper briefing because that action ended up putting the lives of our national assets at risk.

The Libyans went cheap. They refused the charter flight idea citing cost. Not that they don't have the money, but it is that they don't wanna spend it. So they are quite mad for that.

On the bus choice, they clearly sabotaged themselves and are now turning to play victim. You surely don't believe the NFF also didn't try to offer them buses now, do you? Are you new to the erratic behavior of these North Africans and how aloof they act towards blacks?

TheGoodJoe:
We need details of the NFF protocol and logistics team.

We need an official and public report from them on this issue.

We need to know why there was no arrangement to receive and clear the Libyan footballers.

We need to know why we could not support to fly them to Uyo.

We need to know what really happened that the Libyans ended up making the charter for the bus that took them to Uyo. A bus that was not solid and the AC not working properly.

TheGoodJoe, when has any host FA in Africa paid for our plane ticket into their country or for any charter flight intracountry, for a competitive fixture?

Surely you don't expect the NFF to cover plane costs for the Libyans?? Do you?? It is ridiculous.

TheGoodJoe:
Now the NFF is telling us that they advised the Libyans to charter another flight and they refused, maybe due to cost implications.

Nice one NFF. So, they did not have the money for such a cost. How come we were not in the position of getting the funds for the charter?

Keep in mind we had a lot of interest in this matter. The NFF, Akwa Ibom State Government and Rivers State Government.

Mr Morris Eromosele provided the wifi/internet access. He is the head of the Nigerian Community in Benghazi who came all the way to make it happen.

Foreign affairs minister Maitama Tuggar's tweet also revealed as much.

semid4lyfe:

Just watched this Ola Aina's vlog.

Truly. It made me smile and laugh.

In all their shenanigans. the Libyans made a costly mistake by not blocking nternet access..

The internet access allowed us to escalate the issue via social media, and they effectively lost the info war.

By the way. was it the airport WIFI the players were using or were they given local sims with internet access? How were they able to access the internet?
