When you're presented with 3 daredevils to make a choice. Nigeria is still far away from practicing democracy. The people are missing in action because of how the political parties conduct themselves.

It's the same in every country. Democracy is an illusion everywhere. A pretence that the people make their own government. But do they really?

Must it be amongst the three? Na only three parties dey?

This is the illusion of democracy. A few people sat down somewhere and gave you 'choice'. Do you have options outside the choices they have decided upon? No. But you strongly believe you are choosing your leaders.

Calling for protests against an eight-month-old government that is doing everything in its power to rectify the plethora of issues accumulated over the past forty years by starting anew from the ground up is not only "uncalled for," It's the height of witchcraft by all the enemies of the federal republic of my beloved country Nigeria.

The former British pm retired after six weeks. Her reason? 'the work pass me'. This work done commot for Tinubu hand

Mehn...this country is gone. I personally don't rate the present NLC. But to go out and protest against the NLC is insanity. How much dem wan pay these ones to further sabotage any slim chance of rescuing their already decaying futures.

Any real change in this country will only happen through violence. A people's revolution.

I see, but the aftermath of the fall of the USSR was worse (no jobs, no money, too many people going abroad).

Putin has made it better, but great? They call Russia...Nigeria with snow.

That's not what you should have seen. You should have seen the lies in between that guy's submission. All over western Europe, there is a demand for doctors and other medical practicioners. If indeed his brother is a doctor, why sit in Russia and not just go to rosy western Europe where doctors earn a lot

No Amount of Western media propaganda can make me hate Putin . He’s doing what every country’s president will do. Putting his country first .

If Russia is weak as Palestine, Syria , Lebanon the west wouldn’t mind it if one of her Allies destroys it and grab their land they’ll look for one media propaganda to cover it .

Anything to protect yourself from Aggressors is welcomed , in this life pick your fights , use your heads . Ukraine is learning a hard lesson.

Some of these European countries licking NATO’s Boss Ass is not doing so because of love but for peace .
Lastly, in the game of chess don’t be the pawn , life’s a chess game the pawns suffer while royalties have a filled day .

The person that stabbed the yoruba is what?

The person that stabbed someone didn't do it intentionally. Two armed people fighting, when you enter their middle to separate, you are likely to get hurt. This scenario plays out even when the three parties involved are of the same tribe. Two armed people fighting a third separating. There's a chance the peacemaker is hurt. His ignorance and busy body is what led to him being stabbed not his tribe. Why him no allow the hausas wey dey the market separate them? If he didn't interfere, the hausas will end their fight by themselves. If need be, their local arewa leaders would summon the two fighters and settle it within themselves.

Look at all the headlines bellow, na people wey dey separate armed fighters. It is never advisable to do it.

I served in Sokoto and i know how cautious other tribes are around them.
But they will come to your state, try to dominate and keep causing wahala.
Wherever they are gathered, they make the place so dirty...such cruel people.

The hausas didn't cause trouble in this instance It's the Yorubas that attacked the hausas according to the article.

No respect for their host and accomodators

This has nothing to do with respecting of hosts. If the foolish Yoruba victim had minded his business, the two fighting hausas would have settled their fight through their community.

Try dey read first. Two hausa dey fight, you go dey form peace maker? Useless frustrated Yoruba youths took the opportunity to attack the hausas in hopes of looting their goods.

Talking as if they are slaves to Madrid CFF,
it is a business deal ffs!
Yes you're happy for the girls; wish them well and bounce!

That's not a 'snatch'. That's a good deal for the girls and Robo fc. That's prayers answered for them. Hence 'God of wonders'. How much is the entire women's league in Nigeria worth? To attract a club directly from the top flight in Spain means Robo fc is doing right things smaller clubs with small budgets survive in selling players. That is one of the key business of professional football. Do you know how many talents within Nigeria that never gets to see the light of day?

Na god of all wonders get real madrid fc abi na im get the girls' skills?

They just use that part to spoil the beautiful story!

Na because you no know the gap between playing football in Nigeria and playing football anywhere in Europe let alone Madrid. The money the club will make from these deals alone will sustain them for years. Far more than whatever they'll get even if they win the league in Nigeria. This is one of the reasons African players don't play with much ambitions when they are in Europe. God don answer their prayers already no more stress. Them wey call for God of wonders know wetin them dey do.

Chief security offices of the state making stupid excuses. If you have evidence indigenes are inviting herdsmen in, why aren't we seeing the arrested indigenes aiding and abetting terrorism?
If the 'root' of these herdsmen attack is gotten would it not become easier to weed out the terrorist herdsmen?

Bro so many igbos are turning into billionaires now. Do u know that each day dollar add 20 naira, medicine at Lagos Island adds 1k. And people must buy. The number of beer I consume before is still the number I consume now, truth be told, the economy is affecting all, but before an average Igbo man starts complaining, other regions must have seen shege promax

1. Talking about drugs, the price is increasing due to dollar price. It also means the price at which it's imported is increasing. The profit margin remains around the same. What changes however is the number of people buying. If 100 people were able to buy at a moderate price, fewer people will buy at a higher price.

2. Assuming you are still able to buy the same number of bottles, does that mean every customer the shop owner has are able to sustain their lifestyle? Obviously not. What does that translate for the business owner? Less profits. Just yesterday, international breweries posted losses for the last six years. Na childs? Nigerian brewery also had that article that said most Nigerians can't afford to buy beer again. E be jokes to you ba?

Meanwhile, this business owner still has to shop in other places for other things and they are all increasing in price too so the profit gained or retained diminishes quickly. What's worse is as a business owner in recent times, you can sell all your stock and the entire money plus your profit is not enough to restock because the new price of the product is about double already.

Yesterday or so, an apprentice who recently served his oga for seven years received settlement that's not enough to rent a shop. On the same thread, many shared similar harrowing stories. If the bosses were truly billionaires, settling their boys shouldn't be that difficult.

If you dey run legit business in the present dispensation, you go know say no be childs.
