That's too many billions lost...why are they still in business? Perhaps these losses are manufactured because it is certain that the next financial year will result in more losses when you think about the current state if the economy. Fewer and fewer people are able to sustain their purchasing power. Yet cost of production is increasing by the hour.

APC, You do this one.

I was a devoted member of a church in Dubai, a city I just arrived. responsible for projecting Bible verses on the projector during service. One day one of the pastors called me and asked me to book a hotel for a visitor, a request I was glad to honor. I booked the hotel with my identification document. Later that day someone called to ask me how much I was given, I asked what he was talking about. He told me the hotel I booked was used to wash money for a Saudi client who paid heavily. That could have sent me to jail for a very long time or even cost my life, Saudi national. God said me, no one asked me until today.
The next church service my colleagues called me and I told them my name is Bolt, Usain Bolt.

Nice line.

The name is Bolt

Usain Bolt!

These are needless, unnecessary deaths. The FRSC has to make it compulsory for trucks to secure cargo with harnesses as its done in a sane society.

The government should also pass legislation making it a criminal offense for heavy-duty trucks to carry cargo without adequately securing the truck bed.

These are the types of law the government should pass but they're busy trying to ban social media and sports betting that's the only hope of the common man.

The law exists. This is a collision accident, it says so in the very first line of the article. Even in the USA, thousands die yearly to truck accidents. Every happening in the country should not be an indictment on the government.

Disinformation and Misinformation; extremely powerful tools in the 21st century.

The below might help though.

https://people.com/biden-white-house-rejects-putin-endorsement-8583035

Thanks for the link. It puts more body to it. It's however still more misinformation (not an indictment of you but of western media). Putin is not endorsing Biden as this paper adds to it's heading. Putin is rather seeing Biden as a weaker president that Russia doesn't fear because he's 'old skool' and 'predictable'. The western media however twists it to mean Biden is 'best for America's

In the context of Russia vs USA rivalry, Putin will never endorse a candidate that undermines or is capable at least to undermine the reputation of Russia.

Good morning.

This is how they confuse you. Instead of posting the entire conversation, they pick their own interpretation of half a statement and post as the entire news. Look at the body of that 'article'. No quotations to show the exact words of Putin. Nothing to indicate what the conversation is about or what Putin responded to. No source as to where and when he said so that people may verify and get context.

They don't open people's head to put propaganda Inside o. Many times, they just give you half or sometimes outrightly wrong information and allow you spread it like wild fire

In no state will taskforce go out like this without warnings. The people will often turn deaf ears to government pleas and warnings. When government then acts, they'll be sponsoring different publications for public sympathy and political blackmail.

Politics / Re: Anambra: ACTDA Destroys The Nation, Vanguard, Sun Newspapers by Timoleon(m): 4:02pm On Feb 15
Nonsense...I can bet they've all received several warnings to move their wares to more appropriate places. They'll never do that. They'll never report on the notices given by the government.

Any government that wants to make any impact in this country must ruffle feather. If no t, the status quo will remain. A lot of Nigerians survive on illegality. When the government tries to take a stand against such, it definitely must affect people.

The question is should government fold it's hand and allow these illegalities carry on? If it does, the people would say the government did nothing. If the government does act, propaganda reports against government and it's agencies like this will be flying up and down.

This is not to say the government or it's actors are perfect, government cannot be all bad.

The ivory coast were lucky last Sunday in the sense that the super eagles played a defensive game. Man to man the super eagles are more gifted than the CIV

Man. The stats show otherwise. Below are the stats from both matches we played. Ivory coast dominated in both games. We used the same lineup, formation and tactics, they changed their attacking line in the second game to favor people like Adingra Haller and Gradel that can turn their dominance to victory. In the first game, our only shot on target was from the penalty spot! To show it wasn't a fluke, in the final too, we only had one shot on target. The stats can do the telling...if they don't, shalom.

Sports / Re: FIFA Ranking: Nigeria Ahead Of Ivory Coast, Haaland’s Norway After Biggest Move by Timoleon(m): 3:37pm On Feb 15

Rethink your sarcasm...

Ivory coast were lucky to be champions and it shows by their ranking.

It has been explained up. Before the nations cup, ivory coast was 8 in Africa now they are 3rd. Winning one tournament does not automatically put you on top. It takes consistent accumulation of points.

Talking about luck.vhiw can a team that dominated in every match except one in which they received a red card in the first half be considered lucky? Even in the match they lost by 4 goals you'd expect that they didn't play at all. Alas in that match they had a 68% ball possession. Their previous coach didn't know the right set of attackers to use that's why they weren't scoring. In the match Nigeria won them 1-0 they had a ball possession of around 63% Nigeria had one shot on target from the penalty spot and still won. (That's what the Nigerian coach even banked on in the final, using the same lineup and tactics, thinking by scoring 1 again he can run away with it). The difference however is that Haller Adingra and Gradel didn't play in the 1-0 loss. If a y team was lucky, it was Nigeria. The only time we dominated a game was against equatorial guinea when we used an actual midfield tri of yusuf, iwobi and Onyeka. Yet we didn't even win that game. Once Calvin basset replaced Yusuf we depended on long balls, find one goal and sit on it (except of course against Cameroon another terrible team in this competition where we manged 2 goals).

Look at the stats bellow and tell me how ivory coast was winning by luck. (I didn't put the Mali match because they were red carded in the 1st half).

Before nko Ivory won does not mean they played better football although I don't care about ranking nonsense but the truth is Ivory Coast played no football in this last tournament they are just lucky and their yeye superstition that mistakenly favoured them that is all.

Lol...even when they lost 4-0, they outplayed equatorial guinea. Unfortunately they were using the wrong set of attackers in the group stage. The only team to win ball possession from ivory coast was Mali and it was understandable because Ivory coast went a man dow in the 39th minute. No other team came close. Not even Senegal. Ivory coast may have not had good results in the second and third group stage game, in terms of actually playing the game, no team came close to them.

Nice one though.

Adingra, Haller, Gradel didn't play in the matches they lost. If any of featured at all, it was off the bench. Their previous coach (group stage) didn't favour them.

2024 will be worst compared to 2023 and 2024 will be better than 2025!!! This is not good at all, please say something good, be positive about Nigeria. This is not about politics of APC, PDP or LP.

I wish saying that garri will be 100# per paint can make it as that. Unfortunately it can't. Let's however deal with the facts. How many everyday commodity still has the same price as it was in 2023? I can't think of any let alone many.

Do you honestly believe that I'm 2025, the prices will remain the same as it is today or even reduce? Be honest with yourself even in your optimism. I don't hate Nigeria. I have children and wish them well.

I have mentioned it before it will be difficult for there to be a revolution in this country because there are many like you who genuinely believe 'speaking positive' about a truly negative situation. Before you were birthed 'e go better' has been a thing, let us pray for this country has been a thing. The economic stats and realities however shows something antithetical to that.

The economy has become harder on the average man day after day, year after year. If you truly care about this country, you won't be admonishing me to speak positively. You'd be charging me to come out and protest.
