but the other part which he said are false, the driver and the maid. The person can't even buy car self and u can hardly afford to pay rent, talkless of own a house in most part In Nigeria

You are assuming the person has to buy a car. If the person comes from an ok family and inherited a car, that's his car na.

He is not correct .... N200k no fit pay for 2 bedroom flat per annum in any good location in Abuja, how then can you afford to hire a maid and a driver?

This man is definitely on the road to insanity

Can 2k pounds pay for two bedroom in the good places in London?

Even without calculating ask yourself how many people on 300k salary per month have drivers, cooks etc without getting them from the company they work. It won’t even make economic sense spending your money on these with just 200k earning. Chat me up on WhatsApp let me break it down for you.

That they can afford it does not mean they have to. There are people who earn 300k but prefer to wash their clothes themselves. There are people who earn less than 100k and have dry cleaners do their laundry. Mr Onyema talked about the possibility of it not that it should be done. If you no get car, you no need driver. If you however have a car, you will find someone willing to drive you fo 20k or less.

If you need someone to clean your house and run a few errands while at it for 3k or less, you will find that there are people who will plead for the opportunity. Is it ideal? Perhaps not. But is it possible? Definitely yes.

guy what are u arguing for? Did u read the post at all? Someone said if u earn 200k in Nigeria, u can afford to live in vi, employ a driver and maid and u said it is true and some else said it is a lie. Yet u are saying if u cut ur coat bla bla. Was that what did man said ni. That 200k even if u cut ur coat or whatever, when family start entering, u will be broke before mid of the month, saving will be almost impossible. I went to market for my sister yesterday and just the baby stuff we got was more than 25k not to talk of food for the rest in the house.
who said you can afford to live in vi with 200k?

Honestly the way you reason baffles me. But I will answer your question. No it is not compulsory to use all those services when one can’t afford them.

Now answer this. Is it possible to afford all those services on a 200k salary as the man you are defending said?
I mean a man told a blatant lie to buttress his point and an educated man like you is asking if it is compulsory to use these services? How low are we going mentally?

Let me see if you can answer the question.

Dude I want you to try an experiment. Create a thread saying you need a driver who will work Monday to Friday. Morning and evening. He's free to do anything between 9 and 4:30 while you are at work and that the salary is 20k. Drop your WhatsApp number and see wether people won't apply for the job.

Another experiment is to create a thread saying you need someone to who will clean and dust the house, but a few things from the market and make soup so you can store in the freezer once every week for 3k each week. Include your location and what'sapp number and see wether you won't find people who will do it.

many are mad, few are roaming.

Driver - at least 60k salary
Maid - at least 50k salary
one Other domestic staff - at least 50k
Oga boss balance after above expenses- 40k

So oga boss is left with 40k to feed himself and fuel his car for that month? Allen must have just received a Mouth Gig before going on air. His brain never calibrate.

Stop it. I'm not defending Mr Onyema. I however need to correct this falsehood. If housemaids dey earn as much as 50k, people for dey queue to do am. Most housemaids earn around 10k. That's one of the reasons many of them end up stealing. Majority of their clothes and shoes are hand me downs. They can barely afford anything for themselves. Many drivers earn as little as 20k in this same Nigeria. Abi no be this same Nigeria graduates dey 15k as teacher for private school? So they can earn 50-60k as maids and drivers but will go and do suffer head as teachers? Be real with your analysis abeg.

Things are a bit cheaper in Nigeria because Nigeria has so much raw materials. If Nigeria imports raw materials like the UK does, things will be cheaper in the UK. Check the prices of Chinese products in the UK and the prices of the same products in Nigeria. Use a smart phone for instance.

The price of Chinese import in Nigeria is cheaper than the price of Chinese import in UK. And it's not because of raw materials. It's because of all the extra tax.

Whc one be bulb of 500k?
The tenant no pay caution fee,
Cos if u pay caution in any apartment b4 packing in
Thats mean u have paid for damages ahead
Even if u pay 200k as caution fees and u damage things worth 400k,guy u no get anything to do with ur landlord cos u don pay down
If na court, carry me go court make i tell u the reason even the landlord go shock for the kind of tenant wey he give house

Damage is different from theft though. For something to be considered as damage, you have to be able to see it. In this case, the items were taken away.

There is also the crime of malicious damage in law. So a judge is obliged to consider a reasonable level of wear and tear. Once you go overboard, malicious damage may be slammed against you.

You might have no regards for the system, be careful however, the system has no regards for us either.

Stop making tenancy difficult for other people. This landlord will now harbor prejudice against people of certain tribes. This is not fair. Our actions have consequences not just for us personally but for many people we represent directly or indirectly.

If we are being honest, South East leaders owe Kanu nothing. In the spirit of brotherhood, I must appreciate those who have made efforts to secure his release and those who have visited him in prison.

That being said, Kanu ridiculed, insulted and threatened the South East leaders. Ike Ekweremadu was even beaten up during a New Yam festival in Germany 😁😁😁 You cannot insult me, the state picks you up, and you start feeling that I owe you your release. Mbanu, o dighi eme-eme!

E shock me self. Kanu never spared them. He insulted and dragged them through the myd

It's not a new concept, I watched a documentary years ago I think on Al Jazeera of this person helping poor Bolivian families build recycled homes. You can Google Bolivian recycled homes to understand it.

If unjustly inflicted, that’s a different case.

Had my back like this a lot in military school.

Better beatings wey I chop for command, I no fit tell them for house because I go chop extra for house, my papa go bring me back school say make them add more punishment join.

Unfortunately though, I try to be cautious with my children. When they say their teacher beat them, I ask where did the teacher beat you confirm there are no marks, were you disturbing in class, did you do what teacher asked you to do? did you disobey the teacher? I assure them they'll be fine and encourage them to be of good behavior.

Things can get out of hand sometimes like I'm this case, I however like to believe that most teacher have good intentions than just outright wickedness.

will you compare poverty level in these countries to Nigeria? Will you compare minimum wage in these countries to Nigeria? Will you compare standard of living in these countries to that of Nigeria? Will you compare their how accountable the leaders in these countries to that of Nigeria? Will you compare the level of inflation in these countries in the past 20 years to that of Nigeria? I can always go on and on. The truth is that there are too many poor people in Nigeria compare to the rich ones. How many Nigerians can afford a bag of rice as at today? Our minimum wage in a month cannot take a single adult for 2 weeks, but the reverse is the case for one month minimum wage of these countries.

Your leaders (past and present) has destroyed the country. Just that Tinubu want to do the final burial. Kiss the truth bro

She knew she was AS, was in love with an AS person and knew the implications. She found an AA guy willing to marry her but her love for the AS guy remained and they impregnated each other even after she married the AA guy. She lock up with the pregnancy hoping and praying for at worst an AS baby but God was against her adultery evidently.
