Yes! Desperate measures. Anything to avoid being considered a disgrace to the family.

Thank God for my family then. Cos marrying a cheater is a bigger offence esp if he'll end up doing it even more while married.

fsb, I dont understand why you are blaming money when you already said it had nothing to do with material things

Im sorry about what you are going thru. I think you need to put an end to that relatiosnhip especially since it seems like she's "unsure if it will happen again", forget taking back her stuff. Just wish her well and leave. Seriously. You sound sincere, Im sure you'll find someone better

Sagamite, some of us also expect HIGH moral code in our dudes. Then again it's cos some girls are daft enough to take back cheating dudes usually out fo desperation which is why you guys can yarn such dust. No be your faults

As the quoted piece has shown, we AA have problems, yes, though we are resolving ours

How are you solving it? I'd like to know. With all your rappers and coonery entertainers. What exactly is it that you people are doing to resolve your issues. Teen mothers, theft, gangs, homicide.

How dare you say you people say you are resolving these issues, when these are the very things your "musicians" are ADVOCATING IN THEIR MUSIC?

Do you even think when you spew such bullshit? Do you sincerely think if Nigeria has half, infact just 10% of the opportunities blacks americans have, we'd have the problems that we do?

I responded when You started talking crap about the States. If its so bad,

Lolita, whether I badmouth America is none of your bloody business. Unlike your wretched country, there's freedom of speech here and I have the right to talk about the place ESPECIALLY when it was a reply to someone else NOT YOU.

Mind your freaking business. So simple and i wont even acknowledge your pathetic existence. Save that "ticket money" and send it to your people instead. If anyone needs money, it's Liberia.

Congrats. Defender of The States. The same country I've lived in long before you were smuggled in as a mail order bride. Better shut the hell up before I expose you.

My dear, This is a free country.

Do You think that the english language is spoken perfectly in nigeria?

Glad you know it's a free country so mind your bloody business when Im talking to others. I should be able to talk about this country without some daft refugee telling me to "leave". Psychotic slave.

and you're not Nigerian so what concerns you with Nigeria? Accept the fact that you made a mistake in your sentence and quit whining like a retard with lame excuses.

It's "doesnt know me" not "don't know me". Poor thing wants to be like the black americans so badly that she's taken it upon herself to massacre the English language just like they do

Mind your bloody business when it comes to issues of Nigeria. No one is freaking talking to your stupid arse. After all you are not one. So leave and go make your own website or shut the hell up.

Like how the dumb trollop continues to lick the jizz stains of Hero and Exponent when they are the ones coming to a Nigerian website bashing the people. Foolish mongrel

as for drinking water, isnt there a problem of lead poisoning going on now? Also companies claiming spring water when it's really tap?

infant mortality, where?

HIV/AIDS, irony that you picked that one. Arent BAs the one that constitute the largest % of the American population living with the diease? Despite the many programs in the country?

CH3COO:

you toh! Why did you have to call the whole ilu "oshi" . Disappointing. You have been pestering hero and exponent for similar rubbish and I wasn't expecting the same from you.

I'm a Nigerian therefore I have all the rights in the world to bash that place. Unlike Hero and co who are in denial of how much of a disgrace the BA community is to America, I have no problem mentioning the many issues WE have.

How the hell should any school accept lower than a C6 for English in ACCOUNTANCY. Last I checked, Accountants NEED to be fluent in English. Both in writing and oral After all like I mentioned before, it's our lingua franca. . Everyone keeps bashing the recent educational system of Nigeria and how graduates come out and most of them can't even construct a simple sentence(look at Nairaland sef) and you want me to applaud that?

Shouldnt they be trying to look for ways to increase their standards so people wont have to keep degrading themselves aboard all in the name of obtaining foreign degrees because employers in Nigeria hardly take Nigerian degrees seriously anymore? Cos of situations like this?

Once again, Ilu Oshi and until they change it will continue to be one.

OP, I suggest you study harder and re-take the exam. If you sincerely want to get into Accountancy, you shouldnt be happy with a D7.

Education / Re: Could This Really Be True by TOH(f): 7:14pm On Jul 07, 2008
Any school that accepts D in English isnt worthy of being called a school. Especially one in a country where the lingua franca is bloody ENGLISH

Ilu Oshi angry

Hero:

perhaps if you'd read our comment more open mindedly you'll see that we're not saying that we hate Africa but that we are tired of the way its being abused by both the African and the foreigners. There is not excuse for the continent and its people to be in a worst place than they were at at the end of the colonial period on the continent. We're saying that Africa and Africans can be and do alot better than the current state they are in.

Lol dude you crack me up. BAs are the last people to be telling ANYONE how they should be dealing with their issues. How about making Newark and Detriot places worth living in and maybe we "backward Africans" will take you seriously.

If anyone should be in a BETTER state it's you guys. Do we have the opportunities of America in Nigeria or most african countries? Not really. Yet you guys are still struggling. Infact these other Africans are doing SO MUCH better here with these oppportunities than you guys are so what do you have to say about that?
