Please help on punctuation. It has denied me many 5s.
How do I punctuate OKAY, SO and HELLO?
I have been inconsistent with it. Should they go with period or comma?
I had to read samples of passing a script and noticed inconsistencies in the use of period and comma for HELLO, SO and OKAY.
I've also read the punctuation link posted here. So I need practical tutorial from gurus here please.
Thanks in anticipation.

How many tomato plant did you grow?? And was It on 1 plot?
About 100 plants. I didn't plan to plant. We used tomatoes some time ago and few weeks later I saw them emerging. As a farmer I could not withstand their death. I took care of them and transplanted. They came out good with good yield.

Will try them out again.

how many days did the padma tomatoes take to maturity?what type of fungicides did you use?is it staked like cucumbers?what's the spacing?I am asking this questions because by may-july a basket of tomatoes will go up to #25-30,000k and I will not fold my hands and watch that Bonanza pass by.

This is also good sir. I grew some this year and I was able to get average 270 naira per plant. No much care sha.
I will try that out next year maybe on 2 plot or more.
Its labor intensive [staking] sha but worth it.

Oga Okoroemeka understands.

This is a link to a comprehensive guide [pdf] on watermelon farming.

IT WAS NOT WRITTEN BY ME.
But It helped me some years ago.
Little corrections can be made on the details provided therein, like use of dirty water for spraying.

Agriculture / Re: 500,000 Naira From One Plot Of Land In 90 Days. by tpben: 7:28am On Dec 12, 2019
Watermelon biggest issues are cracking, abortion of fruit, animals NOTE: if you can't handle animals, leave it.
It can be grown all year round in the North but only two times in Southern Nigeria. This is as a result of rain pattern.
Watermelon does not like too much water but that does not mean it should be starved. Two weeks to harvest, if it can be starved, better. This increases the sugar content.
The two seasons are from February to March [5th] depending on rain pattern of the year. Then from September to when ever as far you can irrigate. The late season planting will not require irrigation since it rains and stops when the watermelon is maturing.
Don't plant kollos f1, it has low market value. Study your market.

Will continue later

okoroemeka:
that is a serious issue with crimson sweet types like kaolak, koloss, sugar baby and other roundish melon they tend to blow up at any slightest water stress and the damaged melons will attract animals and insects that will cause futher problems,I feel for you magine lossing half of your expected yield, first planting this year we lost a whole farm of melon to small animals and rodents almost 1000 melon balls lost not even one ball was harvested and someone will come and say that melon will make you smile to the bank, HaahaaĆ aaaaaaa, very funny.

So you think it can't make one smile to the bank sir?
Is melon not profitable?
If you didn't record success in that does not make it unprofitable.
I grow them and they have been pretty easy.
Had bursting issue with Koloss f1 too and learnt lessons. This happened while I had Kaolack side by side.
Anyway, I rest my case nwanne.
I no get strength to argue.

Agriculture / Re: 500,000 Naira From One Plot Of Land In 90 Days. by tpben: 10:37am On Dec 10, 2019
EMMAACHILE:

What you are saying is relative. Some markets have melon in abundance while scarce in cucumbers.
Farmers tend to grow what's in large demand. Pepper, tomato and the likes cannot be over saturated in most markets. Even if it plenty, it's only for a short time. You avoid harvest that period by planting at the right time.

That's same thing am saying, TIMING.
That same market abundant in watermelon will get to a period where reverse is the case.
Though, it's market dependent. That's why I put market first and not grow because other are doing so.

I grow cucumber but at a particular time. Grow it any how and buyers will play with your sweat. I once sold off a bag of cuke for 1500. In fact, I was even begging for them to buy because d thing plenty for market.
Back in 2015, I sold a bag for 6k during rainy season. But now... Why? Because everybody grows it.
When ever people invade a particular line of cash crop, I port to another.
Well, I know what works for me.
Agriculture / Re: 500,000 Naira From One Plot Of Land In 90 Days. by tpben: 7:53am On Dec 10, 2019
Watermelon isn't hard as we paint it to be. Get good cultivars like Kaolack or you can extract from fruit. Don't worry about extracting seed from watermelon fruit, it doesn't really make a difference from the treated. Note: I have grown watermelon for five years now.

As nwa afo ala, we have two seasons for watermelon, early in the year and late in the year, like from September. This is because watermelon does not like too much water. Just minimal. This prevents cracking, diseases and improves sugar content.

It's pretty easy. That thing is a money spinner.

Am searching for a big space in acres to grow this.
EVERYBODY must not grow pepper, cucumber and the likes. It rubishes farmers efforts and enriches retailers, as they will still sell at same price while u give your produce out at little or no profit.
Am always mindful of the market before growing anything. In fact, that's my number 1. I can't suffer in vain.
Relative scarcity makes a venture profitable. But when everybody does one thing, I fear ooo.

Nice one Nwanne.

I have a question. Is it advisable to plant water melon now? I have the irrigation sorted out already.

Watermelon is money spinner because very few persons grow it coupled with the high market demand.

Very soon pepper will fall yakata as more people are growing and planning to grow it.

Try out watermelon.

I once sold a ball for 600 to retailers

Thank you sir for your assistance.
Please how does one handle these below

When a REP. Is talking and the customer talks in between while the REP. Continues talking?

Can one delete timestamp or leave it blank?

If a statement was made in a timestamp but completed in the next timestamp, how does one write it?
Should it be written on the first timestamp, or all sentences carried over to the proceeding timestamp where the statement was completed?

How does one use ellipses correctly?

Thanks in anticipation.

I have been having 1 as my rating.

Please, anyone else can help answer this. It's urgent
