Politics / Re: APC Using Osinbajo To Mask Buhari's Religious Bias - RCCG Pastor by Trns4mat: 2:58pm On Jan 16, 2015

Firstly I am a christian from the North. I have family members and friends in the military fighting Boko Haram right now. My parents were adent supporters of Goodluck for religious sentimental reasons.

Now here is my point:

My Dear I am very much concerned about the Islamic agenda, however gej is either he doesn't know about it or doesn't care for his personal greed because he doesn't show any move to that effect, he instead was being played into their agenda: the Islamic banking came to be under his watch, the almajiri school system under his watch, sharia law was perfected under his watch. So why do you think returning him will save Nigeria from whatever agenda there is? This is a sentimental ntal campaign strategy to deceive Christians to vote for him.

Tell me one single thing Gej has done to advance Christianity in the last 6 years? The BH has killed more Christians than any religion yet Goodluck refused to end it, instead he said "why should we stage war against BH that rhey are our children ". If they are killing Christians and he refused to stop it, how else is he helping Christianity and Christians? He is after his personal gain, he is now using religion because he wants to get the votes. Christians in the north agreed and massively voted for him in 2011 because he is a Christian but he has failed them. I had serious argument with my father in 2011 on why he should not vote GEJ, but this year I don't need to convince any christian in the north cos GEJ is never there for Christians and won't help Christianity in any way.

Yar'adua was more fierce in fighting the Boko Haram than even GEJ - what has he done to rescue the Christians from their (boko haram) swords? Sincerely I don't see a basis to heap a sentiment to vote for Goodluck based on this analysis. Thanks for sharing anyway

In case you did not believe, my people, the Christians in the north, are now refugees spread all over the other regions in Nigeria. Many died in road crashes on their sojournies, many were killed right where they took refuge, others took ill and died. School activities utterly hindered where not just distracted. Marriages strained where the husband's had to stay back amongst the hostilities just to feign for the exiled families. All of us, have either a scar on the outside or in the inside. - is this the kind of continuity we want as a people? As Christians? Certainly no! We want a change, we have probably seen the worst even under what you called "our own, a Christian" and now we want a change because that"our own " has abandoned hid "household" and therefore "worst than an infidel" sorry for this strong word but am only quoting the Bible.

Romance / Love Triangle: Two Friends In Knife Fight Over A Man by Trns4mat: 9:34pm On Sep 30, 2013
Two jolly friends, Aisha Bolumole and Mary Bayewu, could have stabbed each other to death but for the intervention of those who separated the brawling women. What could have led to this? Love triangle!

Aisha Bolumole and Mary Bayewu are not just bosom friends, the two women are roommates. The duo shared a room and parlour at Olosan lane, in Ketu-Titun along Badagry Expressway, Lagos State until September 14, 2013. Now, the friends are lying critically ill at two different hospitals where they were admitted after they inflicted deep knife wounds on each other in gruesome fight. September 14, 2013 was a Saturday.

And it did not end well for the two women. The sad even occurred in the evening of Saturday, , at the ladies apartment. Before they fought, however, the two women were reported to have slugged it out at a popular pub in Agbara area of Ogun State.

Aisha, 32, was the one that actually rented the apartment where the two friends had been living since 2010. It was she who invited Mary, 33, to come join her when the latter was booted out of her marriage that same year. It was reported that Mary was divorced by her husband for unknown reasons, but while wandering the streets for where to lay her head; Aisha was the saving grace, having requested her to come live with her pending the resolution of the quarrel with her husband. Aisha is a nurse in a private clinic close to Badagry, while Mary is a road side snacks seller close to their home. It was reported that Aisha even provided the N60, 000 with which her friend started her business.

The loan has not been repaid. Since 2010, both friends, who were reported to have attended the same primary, secondary and even Lagos State Polytechnic together, had been living at the above address without rancour or any animosity. But Aisha’s love for Mary got sour two weekends ago when she discovered that the woman she rescued from the streets was dating her own fiancé.

It was reported that all her life, Aisha had not got any man to propose marriage to her. Even while her best friend Mary spent five years with her estranged husband, Aisha was still searching. Mary is well known to Julius, Aisha’s fiancé as the two friends often visit the banker together. Sometimes when Aisha was not in town, Mary usually visited Julius, who lives about four streets away from them.

This was under the guise of keeping the man’s company while his woman was not there. However, early this month, Aisha had to travel far outside the state to write a professional examination where she would spend three weeks.

While away and as usual, Mary reportedly started visiting the man ostensibly to keep his company. But Mary had other reasons beyond that. Somewhere along the line, Mary began to frequent Julius’ house and while there, she would prepare food for the man as though playing the role of her friend.

Before long, Mary was said to have requested that she passed the night at Julius’ place on the pretext that she was scared by some tombs beside their house. Julius obliged. Before he knew it, Julius and Mary started meeting at a pub outside their domain at Agbara area of Ogun State. But soon, a neighbour of the two friends was at the pub to unwind and caught Julius and Mary coming out of one of the rooms in the hotel.

The said neighbour probably told his wife what he saw and the matter soon became a topic in the area. Another neighbour reportedly informed Aisha on telephone of the development and the woman had to abandon her last papers to rush back to Lagos and see things for herself. But while coming, and apparently wanting to ascertain the story she was told, she never informed her friend nor Julius, her fiancé.

Aisha got returned home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, to hear that her friend had not opened shop in two days. She reportedly went to her fiancé’s house and was told the man had not been seen in the last two days. A neighbour of Aisha, identified as Bose, who spoke with reporters, claimed that the nurse probably got wind of the amorous relationship between her friend and Julius, headed straight for the hotel where they were said to always hang out.

According to Bose, “What we heard was that when Aunty Aisha got to the hotel, she saw her boyfriend’s car parked in the compound and made enquiries and was later shown the room where the man lodged. When she banged on the door the man felt it was one of the waitresses and asked the Aunty Mary to go open the door.

When the lady saw Aunty Aisha by the door she ran back into the toilet in the room, but we heard that Julius prevented the two ladies from fighting,” Bose said. It was reported after a fight between the two friends were prevented at the hotel, Aisha returned home and changed all locks to the apartment. Mary reportedly stayed away for three days only to appear on Saturday.

She claimed she came to pack her things from the house but Aisha refused to allow her. A fight soon ensued and Aisha reportedly stabbed her knife severally. Bleeding profusely, Mary also reportedly ran into a room in the building and produced knife with which she cut Aisha all over her body. Another neighbour, Katherine Effiong, told reporters that but for the timely intervention of men in the compound, the two friends would have killed each other.

According to the housewife, “The rumour of the man and Mary dating had been going on for almost a week until Aisha suddenly came home from her trip without informing the two of them. She later caught her friend with the man at the hotel but they could not fight there. Mary could not come home immediately but when she came home, it was war. We thank God that they only sustained injuries and none of them died.” Saturday Mirror tried to get Julius to speak on the matter but he claimed it was a fight between two friends and that he could not say anything on it.

Nairaland / General / Solemn Message To Borno Elders by Trns4mat: 8:57am On Sep 30, 2013
Written by Nasiru Baba Ilu:

SHAME ON YOU BORNO ELDERS...exactly when will you answer your fathers name you bloody cowards?..For how long will you continue running and hiding in other safer places (that other people worked hard to create) while your ONLY identity is being destroyed by your own kins?

Come on low-brained losers, where is the "conspiracy" crap you wanted us to buy when its obvious 95% of the killing squad are y...our own kins? If indeed some external/conspiracy force is behind all this to "destroy" Arewa as you want us to believe, how comes the poor & illiterate people of northwest Arewa don't partake in this madness? How comes their people reacted very early by exposing neighbours and even lynching some of them while their elites stand up to the killing of even 1 person (Apo 10 is a big issues today at the NASS, CoE Gujba 60+ is no issue at all!)...Who exactly do you think will be foolish enough to start the destruction of Arewa from Maiduguri when Kano, and other better cities stand intact?

Wont you for once stop being selfish by coming out to talk to your vassals in the villages and the city ghettos whose illiterate kids run around killing other defenceless poor people in large numbers?

Aren't you ashamed that the 17 LGAs of Borno north and the 8 LGAs of Yobe (supposedly, your kingdom) are the least educated desert-prone piece of land on the entire planet earth while your kids are kept far away in Abuja and other cosy places schooling home and abroad?..For how long will you continue blaming JTF and GEJ when you ignored the early warning signs some 10yrs ago only to run away when the heat is on?

Do you honestly think you will still be here if these boys had focused on your GRA fortresses and all the choice schools your kids hang around from day one?

So exactly how do you intend to handle a day when your blood-thirsty kins would have succeeded in chasing away all the rest of us "settlers" from your kingdom and no more poor settlers left to kill en mass a la Police headquarters Damaturu, Cattle market Potiskum, Sabongari park Kano, GSS Mamudo, Maiduguri-Damaturu highway and COE Gujba??

One thing I learnt growing up in Bornoland was "pride" and as a Fulaniman, I will naturally assume pride includes not having anything to do with cowardice - most especially when my biggest piece of identify is at stake!!

Keep running, a brick-wall awaits you!!

Crime / Sexual Jihad: Teenage Girls Sexually Serviced Soldiers In Name Of Religion by Trns4mat: 10:33am On Sep 22, 2013
"A member of the Free Syrian Army stands guard at a checkpoint they took over early on Monday after clashes with pro-government forces in Salqin city in Idlib October 22, 2012.

A number of girls from Tunisia have become pregnant after traveling to Syria to participate in "sexual jihad," according to Lotfi Bin Jeddo, Tunisia's Interior Minister.

The girls “are (sexually) swapped between 20, 30, and 100 rebels and they come back bearing the fruit of sexual contacts in the name of sexual jihad and we are silent doing nothing and standing idle,” Al Arabiya reported he said during an address to the National Constituent Assembly.

The Telegraph has more:

"After the sexual liaisons they have there in the name of 'jihad al-nikah' - (sexual holy war, in Arabic) - they come home pregnant," Ben Jeddou told the MPs.

He did not elaborate on how many Tunisian women had returned to the country pregnant with the children of jihadist fighters.

Jihad al-nikah, permitting extramarital sexual relations with multiple partners, is considered by some hardline Sunni Muslim Salafists as a legitimate form of holy war.

Jeddo also said his ministry had taken a number of steps to stem the flow of Tunisians travelling to Syria.

Tunisia's former Mufti (the country's highest religious official) warned earlier this year that 13 Tunisian girls "were fooled" into travelling to Syria to offer sexual services for the rebels. He described the practice as a form of “prostitution.”

“For Jihad in Syria, they are now pushing girls to go there. 13 young girls have been sent for sexual jihad. What is this? This is called prostitution. It is moral educational corruption,” Battikh said"

This practice is even considered as a legitimate form of holy war - what's your take on this, please?
