I don't know where you see criticism in my comment, I only tried to explain why there is so much fuss about the fall of the spacecraft after completion of its mission. It's a normal thing to de-orbit a satellite or maneuver it into the parking orbit, in fact, the ISS will be de orbited few years from now. The Chinese space agency didn't have control over this particular one (the reason for speculations by the media). I'm not being political here, I'm only trying to enlighten you.. Peace out

Its a big deal because its a space station that house 2 Chinese astronauts (its big and its parts has chances to survive re-entry into earth.. There by it needs to be tracked in order to know it's chances of crashing into a populated area( which is very low).. This is only the second case of a 'space station' crashing back in to earth.. If its a 'small spacecraft', it will burn up during reentry, that's why we dont care about them as much.. Hope this helps
