May God bless u for this insight. Nigeria is a problem to igbo race. to be a good and patrotic nigeria is to be anti igbo and any thing done in the interest of ndi-igbo nigeria is against it.

That statement effectively placed yorubas beneath Igbos forever in all ramification. It's a statement that will haunt yoruba future generation forever.

It means that for yorubas to make any headway in life, they must look and emulate Igbos.

Are you sure it is my posts you are reading?
For I am so sure i never at anytime talked about enforcing a sit at home protest.
I simply said, I am staying home with my family.

You are trying hard to sound neutral, when your emotions have spoken loud enough on where your heart belongs.

Tommorow is the D-day, I will stay home with my family.
Sno work, no school.
Morrow, we shall have a history class in my home.

They will learn
that Mongo Park never discovered the Niger.
That Nigeria (Niger Area) was created by slave traders.
w how the terrorists called Usman Dan Fodio invaded and enslaved Northern Nigeria.
that Boko Haram and herdsmen are still on the mission and vision of Dan Fodio.

they learn of the crises that led our fathers to declare independence
and how Gowon bombed our churches and markets. hear details of the.

Then will understand why we want our freedom.

After now, we shall formulate a way to teach our children our history.

just look at how religion has blinded you and killed your sense of humanity.

you sit there and talk about the will of some Allah or Jesus whom you know nothing about and you lazily tag the sufferings of these people who were living their normal lives till calamity came... you tag their suffering to Allah and you wash your holy hands and turn your holy face to heaven and pray.

Are you still human?

When his namesake in the Bible history became the prime minister in Egypt, he did not use his office to take a pound of flesh of his brothers for the evil they did to him. Rather he uses his office to save lives and wrestled them out of the grip of hunger and starvation.

But in the case of the present Joe, his brethren can wail and die provide he keeps office.

What a contrast!!!

powerful Response

I can tell you something about us Igbos that makes us different from the two other main ethnic groups. Igbos are the only people amongst the three ethnic groups that never had an empire, unlike the Yorubas who had the Oyo empire and the Hausa/Fulani who had the Sokoto caliphate. Having a big 'empire' is part of their history and that is one of the reasons why the average Yoruba or Hausa will feel nostalgic about Biafra because freedom sounds mundane to them. Despite Igbos being much larger (in terms of population), they never tried to conquer or even fight the much smaller tribes in what is now called Niger/Delta. Why didn't Igbos do this? Because we are too egalitarian for that nonsense. If an Igbo man is interested in dominating anyone, it will be in the economic sense. If there is Biafra tomorrow, and an Ijaw man says he wants his own country, I will tell him to come for negotiations for a peaceful disengagement. How can I as an Igbo tell the Ijaw Man that we are '
