and where is the heavy make-up? Dude, make-up is make-up, what looks 'light' to you might be heavier than what you term 'heavy'. I'm a girl, I know what's up, no need educating me

You don't know wsup. Dont't educate me. Im a cosmetologist and it's people like you who feel they know that spoil the whole essence of makeup.

how many 'no make-up' pictures do you find of girls anywhere? Babe wey fine don fine. All these ones na English. If any of those chics passed you, you would take a second glance. Just say they're fine and leave it there. Haba! You people on NL are just sad. This same site that some are saying Lupita N'yongo with all her make-up and photo editing is the sexiest black woman alive and you can't even appreciate your fellow Nigerians. Why?

There's a difference between make up and heavy make up. Re-read what I wrote.

People are funny sha.

Ok they are not ugly but most of them are too plastic with very heavy make up and most are bleached.

Is that the true essence of beauty?

All these things are only temporary setbacks for Tinubu. And in life setbacks make you stronger when you emerge from them. He will still emerge stronger than all the rest. He is even the most savvy and strategic politically than every other person in APC and do not forget that APC is his baby.

He is not perfect, I do not agree with everything he does but guess what? He is the best amongst other people that are regarded as APC chieftains.

If he could withstand the pressure in 2003 as the only AD/AC governor and has grown to this great length then the internal wranglings in the APC are bembele.

He hasn't said anything that is wrong. All he said was very true and if anybody has sense and depth he should go and sit down and think about how Nigeria has gotten to this point even in the midst of every available resource for the country to progress.

Keep condemning the messenger and ignoring the message.

I did. Not with feet though.
Whenever I visited my grandma I would do that with her. I used to pick the kernels out of the mould will the big guys would do the heavy pounding with tall pestles for her.

You don't have to grow up in the village to do that.

The sweetest part is roasting yam, plantain and cocoyam in the open fire then use the fresh oil with scent leaf and scotch bonnet pepper to eat it.

Last time I did it, I even took pictures. Don't know where I kept the pictures even.

Aww. Mma nke ukwu embarassed

Stomping palm fruit doesn't reduce who you are. For one, it actually make your feet neater than any feet treatment ever could. It's a very enjoyable form of exercise (dancing)...and you end up producing something worthwhile (palm oil). The few times I did it at the villa,I actually had to beg to be allowed to do it...and believe you , I don't regret it one bit...

So after trekking all around the dirty village and to and from the stream you will now stomp on the palm kernel that people will consume it's oil. Isn't there a better and more hygienic way around it? Na wa.

My guy calm down na.

You are not reacting like you have class and money or either of both. Someone who has wouldnt do so much to try to prove himself.

I AM NOT YOUR GUY!!!!

People chase money for different reasons. If I have an extra unneeded 11 million naira I would rather go to General Hospital and pay the bills of those who cannot pay than buy a wristwatch. If I do not feel like charity ,I will look for hardworking small entrepreneurs and lend them the money to grow their business.
To my way of thinking money confers a responsibility to improve society, the more you have the greater the responsibility .
If I am to be "set apart" that is how I want to be set apart not by my consumption but my contribution. I am very comfortable in my skin and do not care to be set apart by what I wear, no one will remember in 10 years what kind of watch or shoes I wear. We are all different . As a matter of personal policy my body is not used to advertise ANY designer labels

Not everyone wants to be set apart from others and certainly not by things money can buy for them. That may be attractive when one lives in extreme poverty. Do you know the meaning of the word "gawk" ? That is the sort of thing that we mean when we talk of class.
Designer clothes, and other shiny things are just a way of managing an inadequate ego and dealing with feelings of inadequacy. I do not pick my role models because of what they wear or drive. When I think of any person and say I want to be like that person it has nothing to do with money. Everything you have said is reflective of the "poverty mentality" you talk about.

I think one of the greatest skills a human can have is the ability to read other people, those people who train themselves to judge and evaluate others by their dressing are very far astray.

Ok.

Self righteous Nigerian.

My guy, lets talk about this when you have N1bn. Before then, it will be easy for any one to come and rant about how much of a burden he carries for others in his heart and for that reason he is willing to forgo any luxury just to satisfy others.

Your reactions and the tantrums you are even throwing show that you lack the class we are talking about. SOmetimes when you are unable to imagine the enormity of what you are able to achieve and have, you castigate others who have and make it seem like they are wasteful because they invest or buy some things they like. You assume that someone who has an N11m watch hasnt spent much more helping people. But because of people like you, the good deeds people do are not heard as loudly as when you hear that others steal their expensive watches.

My guy. Go siddon.

wickedness; 11m for just a wristwatch when over 11M Nigerians do not access to three cheap square meals......

Go and sell the most expensive thing you have and start wearing only cheap stuff because many other people cannot afford to have what you have.

It is not what you wear that gives you class. It is what comes out of your mind and its value to others. There is no amount of money in this world that can buy class for a parvenu. This is a common mistake people make that wearing designer clothes or other exclusive trinkets will help buy class. This is a futile effort of small minds. If anything it only makes the possessor of the money to display crassness rather than classiness. You might as well take a pig and put a diamond necklace round its neck
By the way I am not your "Guy"

My guy, I agree totally that class emanates from within. So what class does for you is that when you have money, it sets you apart from others who have money but lack class. Don't gawk. Class will amplify the effect your money should originally have because it is not something anyone can buy. And everybody can buy a $10 watch
Politics / Re: Fayose Riding On "Okada" To Inaugurate The New House Of Assembly [Photo] by TS2(m): 1:07pm On Jun 05, 2015
A governor is someone that should uphold rules and seek to make the lives of his citizens better in conjunction with the agencies set up to perform their specialized functions.

When a rogue governor climbs an okada on the highway and not koro, without a helmet worn by either of the occupants of the bike to an important state function...there is trouble. Because he has no plan to fight for the safety of his people. Anybody can enter bike on express and die. If I dont wear helmet, why should I enforce more stringent safety conditions?

Furthermore, a governor who climbs okada just for the fun of it and not because he has an urgent matter that can only be eased by using the okada, it means he has no plans to further develop transaportation in his state.

But if Ekiti ppl love him and are willing to trade progress and development for this who am I to complain?
