If the ongoing crisis between talented producer and CEO of Difference Entertainment, D’Tunes and his artiste, Sean Tizzle is not well managed, the duo may soon go their separate ways in no distant future.

There are strong indications that all is not well.

E-Rave gathered from a close aide of the duo who pleaded anonymity that the strain in their ‘one-time’ perfect relationship began when Sean Tizzle embarked on a US tour earlier in the year without the approval of the label.

The tour we scooped affected the label’s income after shows secured for Sean Tizzle were cancelled and funds returned to event organizers due to his inability to grace such shows.

The issue degenerated to a heated argument between the D’Tunes and Sean Tizzle when he (Sean) returns to the country and they were not on good terms for some days before they later made up partially.

Another round of argument ensured with Sean Tizzle’s new video, Abeg which was shot in America without any notice or approval of the label.

Sean is also not happy that D’Tunes has signed five new artistes on the label while he was away.

We were informed the latest development has made him insecure and he rarely associate with the new acts.

Though Sean Tizzle has vehemently denied a crack in their relationship in recent interviews, things are not going on well between the pair who live in the same apartment in Lekki, Lagos.

Recall while Sean Tizzle was on tour in the US, Difference Entertainment signed five new artistes; Q-Dot, Bad Boy Ace, D-O, ATM, and Kue Bounce.

It was assumed that D’tunes is already preparing for him dumping the brand in the nearest future.

However, E-Rave put a call across to D’Tunes to get his own side of the story but he claimed he was in a meeting and several calls put across to him afterward was not picked.

An email sent to Sean Tizzle was also not replied as at the time of this publication.

With less than a month until the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA), an all-star line-up of MAMA nominated artistes is to headline MTV Base’s latest Road to MAMA party. The pan-African party tour, criss-crossing the continent in the build up to the MAMA awards in July, kicked off in Durban before heading onto Lagos.

Road to MAMA Lagos, an off-the-hook club night and celebration of Africa’s musical evolution, will take place on Friday 3 July at The Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel, 6-8 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Headlining the gig are Song of the Year and Best Hip Hop nominee Olamide, Yemi Alade (nominated for Best Female and Song of the Year), Phyno (Best Hip Hop), Lil Kesh (Song of the Year), and Iyanya (Best Collaboration). As an added treat, Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platnuzm will be showing off the moves that earned him three nominations (Best Male, Best Live & Best Collaboration).

Rounding out the evening with some hot deck action will be DJ Neptune, DJ Xclusive & DJ Caise.

Doors for Road to MAMA Lagos open at 9:00PM. Tickets will be available at www.afritickets.com priced N5000 (standard tickets only).

A small number of tickets will be available at the door at the Federal Palace Hotel on 3 July.

Afropop star, Oritsefemi (Femi Ma­jemite), has parted ways with Blessing Rawa, his lover of five years, who reportedly stood by him when the going was tough in the ghettos of Ajegunle. The girl who is alleged to be behind the break up has been revealed as Adasounds.

An in­sider reports that, both Oritsefemi and Blessing were so close and it seemed only death could separate them. The source told EntertainerSun)

“Both Oritsefemi and Adasounds are always spotted together at popular hang­outs in Lekki with Oritsefemi splashing expensive gifts on her, including plans for a vacation in Dubai. There is no gain say­ing it, Oritsefemi is head-over heels in love with Adasounds and there are rumours that he might be traveling to her village in the east to consummate the relationship with a traditional wedding anytime soon,” the source added.

Oritsefemi issued a press statement to the effect after he parted ways with Bless­ing. However, Blessing in her own statement had denied the ac­cusation, saying she never hacked into Oritsefemi’s Instagram’s account.

I’m sure no lover of Nigerian Entertainment is left out on the Clash of two once upon a time EME recording artistes, Skales and Wizkid. The fight which brewed on Twitter even featured Skale‘s girlfriend.

Kahli Abdu and VHS Safari is an afro-electro group/band formed in Brooklyn, NY and currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. The group is comprised of artist Kahli Abdu, born in Jos, and production duo VHS Safari, consisting of David and Will, childhood friends who grew up together in Washington D.C.
Since playing their first show together in New York in August, 2014, the group has performed over 20 shows around the U.S., released 4 music videos, and released their debut album A.R.T. Project in January 2015. OkayAfrica wrote that the “album spans an array of eclectic songs, all engaging.”
