Hey guys please shey i can move from global stable rom to global beta by using the updater app and choosing the rom from downloaded_rom folder. Because i can't bear this issue of screen freeze on pocophone miui 10.2.2 its really frustrating. Got some comments that the beta has the issue solved on the miui forum.

No screen freezing problem here but that's a common issue with the Pocophone. Did you update yours recently?

are you using 10.2.2 the last update?

Issue with my almost a month old pocophone. the screen just freezes sometimes and won't respond until i switch off screen n turn it on again. Dint av this issue since oo its recently it started.

So best phone i have used is pocophone abt 4 days old now no complains, no lags on PUBG even at highest graphics settings excellent ba3. My only downside is the screen quality. Made the switch from Samsung s7 so the difference da show well apart from that SUPERB experience

Pocophone started hanging badly just now while sending video on Whatsapp.

Entire UI hangs every time i open any app.

Let me update Whatsapp and download Nova launcher to see if it persists.


Update. Its done hanging after installing and deleting nova launcher, regrann app and Kinemaster.

These were the last apps I used before whatsapp started hanging.

That was too scary. I'm not sure Pocophone can be my daily driver for much longer but second space is way too important to leave Xiaomi completely. Android one is the way forward.

Update* Tried sending video again, turns out Whatsapp is the culprit.

It starts hanging as soon as i send a video, the video doesn't send either.
