That is to say that the water that inundated the earth came from the water that once covered the whole universe. It was not all on Earth. Since I joined the church last year I've noticed how serious the mandate of multiplication of branches is.

Using my branch as a case study.

First of all, it didn't occur to me that the building we're using is rented until they started tasking every member for their own share of the yearly rent. My God! So I'm supposed to share in the rent of my church? What happens to tithes and offerings? I go to church every week, pay my tithes and offerings and now this?

Why move money to the headquarters when you've not paid your rent?

The most painful of it is that we were also tasked to open another branch during the Easter let's go a ffishing program . Who opens a new branch when he has not paid the rent of his head office? If RCCG is a business center as someone once said, you don't open a new office when the first is not yet established.

Ist that how it's done in other churches or is it exclusive to RCCG?

1) a wise God will not use inefficient technology. Wisdom demands that you use what gets the job done at the least possible cost.
We use computers cuz they save cost-time nd labour.
Would humans created by God then b wiser than God? This is impossible.

2) you assume that it is in heaven as it is on earth. On earth, book nd paper tech is cumbersome. Slow and Hard to search, slow to enter data and insecure nd unsafe and unportable. The book on earth rot due to humidity can b eaten by ants and termites and become unweildy to carry around as their mass increases.
Computer storage overcomes some of this limitations.
Large data can b stored at less space cost.
Searching is faster .
It is portable.
Is this the case in heaven?
But computer storage hav limitations. Data can get corrupted , recorded data can b erased and changed. It can b lost.
Despite the storage savings, there is still some storage cost involved for huge data,huge energy costs too.
Google has huge data centers. These data centers store huge vats of information in large warehouse size buildings requiring custom built cooling just to serve the about 1 billion hits it receives in a day and the less than 10% of the internet it indexes? Let me recap: google indexes less than 10% of the available internet yet it's 'hard drive' is warehouse sizes large! God,indexes ALL of human activity from the begin of creation to the end of human existence! Everything, and these acts are stored cheaply in books! No cooling cost. No hard disk failure. No expensive electricity costs. None of those! And no lost,dropped data! Think of that! Those books are super books.

This same God asked Job,if he has ever caught the thunder in his hand? Job couldnt answer Him. If humanity could capture the energy in a thunder bolt and store it cheaply, what would that do to our electricity problems? The energy in a bolt could probably power a city or commune for along time but we just watch them waste. Helpless to harness them.

Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.

Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Professor: Yes.

Student : And is there such a thing as cold?

Professor: Yes.

Student : No, sir. There isn’t.

(The lecture theater became very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There was pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light. But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, well you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?

Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man ?

Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Professor: Flawed ? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good GOD and a bad GOD. You are viewing the concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.

Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class was in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class broke out into laughter. )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
